1.Investigation on Indoor Air Pollution in Newly Decorated Houses in Jiaozuo City
Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(09):-
Objective To know the indoor air pollution status in the newly decorated residential houses in Jiaozuo and to study the effect of decoration materials on the pollution. Methods To monitor formaldehyde, ammonia and benzene levels in the indoor air of 39 newly decorated rooms in Jiaozuo. Results The exceed standard rates of formaldehyde, ammonia and benzene in the indoor air were 73.6%, 84.7% and 25.8% respectively. Exceed standard rate of formaldehyde in the room which held the new furniture was the highest, 88.8%. Conclusion Decoration may cause indoor air pollution, the most part of the pollutants are formaldehyde and benzene. The level of the pollution depends on the different usages of the rooms.
2.Effects of acute hypervolemic hemodilution with HES130/0.4 and HES200/0.5 on blood coagulation
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2008;28(3):242-245
Objective To evaluate the effects of 6% hydroxyethyl starch (HES)130/0.4 and 6% HES 200/0.5 on blood coagulation in patients undergoing major operation under general anesthesia. Methods Sixty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients aged 18-64 yr undergoing major operation under general anesthesia during which the blood loss was expected to be>20%of blood volume were allocated randomly into 3 groups(n=20 each):Ⅰ control group(C);Ⅱ6% HES200/0.5 group (H) and Ⅲ HES130/0.4 group (V).In group H and V the patients Arterial blood samples were taken before(T1),immediately(T2)and 1 h after the end of fluid infusion(T3)for determination of hematocrit(Hct),platelet count(PLT)and prothrombin time(PT),platelet maximum aggregation test induced by 5 μmol/L ADP,and Sonoclot coagulation and platelet function analysis(gbACT,CR,PF,TP).Activated partial thromboplastin time(Am),coagulation factor Ⅷ (FⅧ)activity and von Willebrand factor(vWF)were measured only in group H and V.Results (1) PT and APTT were significantly prolonged after fluid infusion at T2 and T3 as compared with the baseline values at T1 in group H and V.(2)FⅧ activity and platelet maximum aggregation induced by ADP were significantly decreased at the end of fluid infusion at T2 as compared with the baseline at T1 but increased again at T3 in group H and V.(3)There was no significant change in Sonoclot coagulation parameters after fluid infusion as compared with the baseline except clot formation rate (CR)in group H and V.Conclusion Acute hypervolemic hemodilution with 6% HES130/0.4 or 200/0.5 has minimal effect on blood coagulation and there is no significant difference in blood coagulation changes induced by 6%HES130/0.4 and 200/0.5.

Induced pluripotent stem cell is a landmark in the stem cell study field, which has rapidly developed in the past 10 years.By obtaining induced pluripotent stem cells from somatic cell, and then differentiating into cardiomyocyte, various cardiomyocyte disease models could be established, which can be used for research of disease mechanisms, drug screening and gene therapy. This review introduces the successfully established cardiomyocyte disease models from human induced pluripotent stem cells, and points out the problems and prospects.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(07):-
Objective The purpose of this study was to analyze the alterations of T_1、T_2 lymphocyte subsets in the peripheral blood of patients with colorectal cancer. MethodsTwenty patients with primary colorectal cancer were enrolled into this study, T_1 and T_2 in the peripheral blood were evaluated by detecting the intracellular interferon-? and interleukin-4 production with 4-color flow cytometry. ResultsThe percentage of T_1 and T_2 in the peripheral blood of cancer patients was lower significantly than healthy controls [(36?11)% and 3.3(1.9)% vs. (46?12)% and 4.1(3.1)%](P
7.Research advances of precision treatment for pancreatic cancer
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2021;20(4):385-394
Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related death in the world due to its high malignancy, difficult in early diagnosis, poor treatment efficacy, and high mortality. In recent years, benefiting from the progress of combined chemotherapy and neoadjuvant therapy, the prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer has been improved to a certain extent. However, compared with other tumors, progress of precision medicine in pancreatic cancer is slow. The authors introduce the latest progress and difficulties in precision medicine of pancreatic cancer including molecular classification based on single gene and omics, monitoring tumor progression and guide treatment by minimally invasive liquid biopsy, as well as targeting therapy and immuno-therapy, in order to accelerate the development of precision medicine of pancreatic cancer.
9.Effect of Community Rehabilitation on Stroke Patients during Convalescence
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2008;14(8):786-787
Objective To observe the effect of community rehabilitation on the motor function and activities of daily living(ADL)of stroke patients. Methods 155 stroke patients were randomly divided into the exercises group(n=76)and control group(n=79)and evaluated with simple Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA),Modified Barthel Index(MBI)and Functional Comprehensive Assessment(FCA)before treatment and 1 and 3 months after treatment. Results The evaluations of FMA,MBI and FCA were not different between two groups before treatment. One month later, the scores of MBI and FCA of the exercises group improved significantly(P<0.01),but simple FMA not improved even to 3 months after treatment(P>0.05).In the control group, the simple FMA score not improved(P>0.05),the scores of MBI and FCA had a declined tendency with disease course prolong. Conclusion The effect of community rehabilitation on the motor function of stroke patients during convalescence is not significant, but community rehabilitation may improve ADL and the quality of life.

Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
The effect of Ultraviolet (UV) rays on the activity of parasporal crystal of Bacillus thuringiensis, var. Kurstaki HD-1 strain was studied by SEM, SDS-PAGE, bioassay and other methods. It was found that the morphology and surface structure of PC were damaged ,and its solubility in alkaline solution or silkworm gut juice was decreased after being irradiated by UV, the solubility was lost completely after a long time irradiation over 5 hours, so the processed PC could not be degraded into protoxin with insecticidal activity and was denatured.
