Tianjin Medical Journal 2014;(6):533-535
Objective To investigate the effect of Doxycycline on gastric cancer cell line BGC-823 proliferation and Notch1, Matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)expression in order to shine a light on new anticancer drugs. Methods Final concentration of 0, 5, 10, 20, 40 mg/L doxycycline were added into human gastric cancer cell line BGC-823. Cell pro-liferation was detected by MTT;Cell cycle distribution was assessed by flow cytometry;Notch1, MMP-9 protein expression was revealed by Immunoblot. Results Doxycycline can inhibit proliferation of human gastric cancer cells line BGC-823, and its effect is dose and time-dependent(P<0.01). Doxycycline alters distribution of gastric cancer cell line BGC-823. With increasing drug concentration, the proportion of cells in S phase dropped(P<0.01). Notch1 expression rose and MMP-9 expression decreased(P<0.01). Conclusion Doxycyclinecan inhibited gastric cancer cell line BGC-823 prolif-eration and up-regulating Notch1 might be one mechanisms.

Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine 2015;(8):665-670
Objective:To study the public health Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs)in the US, the European Union, the UK and Australia, and summarize the good practice for the improvement of National Health Emergency Response Command Center in Chinese National Health and Family Planning Commission. Methods:Literature review was conducted to explore the EOCs of selected countries. Results:The study focused on EOC function, organizational structure, human resources and information management. The selected EOCs had the basic EOC functions of coordinating and commanding as well as the public health related functions such as monitoring the situation, risk assessment, and epidemiological briefings. The organizational structures of the EOCs were standardized, scalable and flexible. Incident Command System was the widely applied organizational structure with a strong preference. The EOCs were managed by a unit of emergency management during routine time and surge staff were engaged upon emergencies. The selected EOCs had clear information management framework including information collection, assessment and dissemination. Conclusions:The performance of National Health Emergency Response Command Center can be improved by learning from the good practice of the selected EOCs, including setting clear functions, standardizing the organizational structure, enhancing the human resource capacity and strengthening information management.
3.Relationship between forkhead box Q1 and tumors of digestive system
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2016;22(5):351-354
Forkhead box Q1 (FoxQ1) is a transcription factor protein with the function of cell differentiation regulation.Recently, increasing evidence has demonstrated that FoxQ1 is significantly associated with pathogenesis of digestive system tumors. This article systematically reviewed the expression and the role of FoxQ1 in the pathogenesis of digestive system tumors.Potential therapeutic target of FoxQ1 was discussed as well.

Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(7):632-634
Objective To observe the real-time efficacy of balance acupuncture in treating primary hypertension. Method Totally 160 patients with primary hypertension were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 80 in each group. The treatment group was intervened by balance acupuncture, while the control group was by oral administration of Captopril. The blood pressure and symptom score were observed before and after intervention. Result There were no significant differences in comparing the total effective rate at different time points between the two groups (P>0.05). There was a significant difference in comparing the headache score in male patients at 30 min after treatment between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Balance acupuncture is an effective method in treating primary hypertension, and can release headache of the patients.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(09):-
Objective To summarize the experience of perioperative management of lung volume reduction surgery(LVRS) under video-assisted thoracoscopy. Methods A total of 40 patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) underwent LVRS under video-assisted thoracoscopy.A mini-incision thoracotomy was given in 23 of them.During the operation, the Endo-GIA was utilized to resect 20%~30% of total volume of affected lung. Results The LVRS was performed in bilateral lungs in 13 patients(under thoracoscopy only in 7 patients and with the assistance of mini-incision thoracotomy in 6 patients) and in unilateral lung in 27 patients(under thoracoscopy only in 10 patients and with the assistance of mini-incision thoracotomy in 17 patients). There were no surgery-related deaths. All the patients were discharged from the hospital 9~41 days(mean,18 days) after operation. Not only symptoms of dyspnea were obviously relieved but also the respiratory index was upgraded by 1~2 grades. The comparisons on pulmonary functions between preoperative time and 1 month after operation indicated a great improvement postoperatively, including the forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV_1)(48.3%?4.9% vs 68.5%?5.6% predicted;t=17.169,P=0.000),the residual volume(RV)(270.0%?23.6% vs 188.0%?19.8% predicted;t=16.835,P=0.000),and the total lung capacity(TLC)((123.0%?9.8%) vs 102.0%?8.7% predicted;t=10.135,P=0.000).Postoperative complications included air leakage in 10 patients, lung infection in 5 patients, and bronchial asthma in 3 patients, all of whom were cured after symptomatic management.A follow-up was conducted in 37 patients for 3~77 months(mean,46 months).Three patients died of lung cancer at 6,10, and 20 postoperative months, respectively. Two patients died of esophageal cancer at 3 and 8 postoperative months, respectively. And one patient died of cerebrovascular disease at 6 postoperative months. The remaining 31 patients survived. Conclusions Proper perioperative management is of great importance for a successful surgery and a rapid postoperative recovery.
8.Influence of Red Sage and Propranolol on Portal Hypertension Rats' Pressure,Liver Fibrosis and Gastric-intestinal Hormone
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(03):-
[Objective] To observe the influence of Red Sage and Propranolol on portal hypertension rats' pressure, liver fibrosis and gastric-intestinal hormone.[Method] At 4w after making models, rats take the said medicines, then measure their portal pressure with biological signal Medlab-Ug4Cs collection and treatment system;after decapitation, measure the indexes with radio-immune method.[Result] In model group(1),the portal pressure is much more increased than normal one(2),that in Red Sage treatment(3) and Propranolol(4) groups is much lowered,so are gastrin and glucagon;compared to group 1,the gastrin, motilin and glucagon in group 3 are much decreased,so are compared to group 4.[Conclusion] Red Sage can effectively reduce portal pressure, liver fibrosis index and regulate gastro-intestinal hormone, with cure effect better than propranolol.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2009;11(4):443-446
Objective To investigate the relation between the expression of HSP70 and p57kip2 in C, CT and Enneking surgical classifi-cation by detecting expression of HSP70 and p57kip2. Methods 30 cases of GCT were collected, including surgical operation specimens and 13 cases of osteochondroma were taken as control group. The expression of HSP70 and p57kip2 were detected, and the relation between the ex-pression of HSP70 and p57kip2 and Enneking surgical classification and prognosis of GCT were analyzed. Results With the increase of tumor Enneking surgical grades, the positive rate of HSP70 was increased and the negative rate of p57kip2 was decreased. Expression rates of HSP70 were 22. 2%, 88.9% ,100% in grades of 1~3 and expression rates of p57kip2 were 88. 9%, 88.9%, 33.3% in grades of 1~3. There was a negative correlation between HSPTo and p.57kip2 expression. Conclusions HSP70 and p57kip2 may play a role in the genesis, and develop-ment of giant cell tumor of bone, and it can be helpful for surgical classification and prognesis of GCT.
