Objective To study the level of serum high-sensitive C-reactive protein and HbA1c in diabetes patients with blood stasis syndrome, and to investigate the relationship among them. Methods 58 cases of diabetes patients with blood stasis syndrome and 65 cases without blood stasis syndrome were observed. The level of FPG,hsCRP,HbA1c,24 h UAER,TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C were estimated. Results The level of FPG,LDL-C,TG,HbA1c,hsCRP of diabetes with blood stasis syndrome were higher than the control group(P 0.05).In patients with blood stasis syndrome, the hsCRP was positively correlated to HbA1c,24 h UAER,BMI,LDL-C,TC,TG,but the multifactor regression analysis indicated that hsCRP was only correlated to the HbA1c independently. Conclusions The long-term hyperglycemia and inflammatory may be one of the reasons for the formation of blood stasis syndrome of diabetes patients,hsCRP and HbA1c may be new evidences for diagnosis of diabetes patients with blood stasis syndrome.

Objective To investigate the change of epithelium growth factor(EGF), tumor necrosis factor (TNF), superoxide dismutese(SOD) and hemorrheology (HL) in patients with diabetic retinopathy. Methods EGF、TNF、SOD levels and HL changes have been measured in 30 NIDDM patients with retinopathy (DR group), 29 NIDDM patients without retinopathy (NDR group), and 29 patients with senile cataract and without diabetes as control (C group). Results The mean levels of EGF、TNF and blood viscosity were significantly higher in both DR and NDR group than those in C group; the mean levels of SOD was significantly lower in both DR and NDR group than that in C group. The EGF、TNF and blood viscosity was significantly higher in proliferative type DR than in background DR; The SOD was significantly lower in proliferative type DR than in background DR.Conclusion The development of diabetic retinopathy is related to the increase of EGF、TNF、blood viscosity and decrease of serum SOD.

To discuss the situation of country doctors' training in Honghe State of Yunnan Province and to search the more useful training methods, the 171 trainees were surveyed by self-designed questionnaire. It appeared that most students improved knowledge and clinical skills obviously and they wanted more knowledge and case analysis and training of clinic skills.

Objective To update the knowledge on the sensitizing drugs and clinical features of drug eruption. Methods The clinical data on 138 patients hospitalized for drug eruption in the Department of Dermatology, Institute of Dermatology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, from January 2005 to June 2007, were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Results Totally, 178 episodes of drug eruption were observed in these patients during the tested period. The major sensitizing drugs included antibacterial agents (31.46%), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (28.09%), traditional Chinese medicines (15.73%). Amoxicillin triggered 20 episodes of drug eruption and was the most common causative drug. Oral administration was the predominant sensitizing route of administration (54.17%). Of all the drug eruptions, 33.71% manifested by erythema multiforme, 28.09% by fixed drug eruption, 22.47% by exanthematous drug eruption. Severe types of drug eruption were mainly caused by traditional Chinese medicines and anti-gout drugs. Conclusions Antibacterial agents and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have become the major sensitizing drugs of drug eruption, especially amoxicillin. The frequency of traditional Chinese medicine-induced eruptions are increasing. Furthermore, caution is warranted for the drug eruption caused by oral administration.

Objective To train students'divergent thinking and the ability of innovation in functionalexperimental lesson. Methods Ask students to make the assumptions of animals' death and to verify them by anatomy in the experimental test, then to analyze them in multilateral ways. Results This method could heighten studtns'initiative and improve their ability of ob-servation and analysis. On the other hand, divergent thinking could be trained and interest of in-novation could be improved by this way. Conclusion The quality of teaching can be improved by overall analysis of the cause of animals'death

Background Establising the culture model of Müller cells for obtaining the highly putified target cells is essential for the study about the physiology and pathology of retinal Müller cells. The exsiting purifing method for culturing Müller cells is dissatisfactory. Objective This study was to establish a method to obtain high purifing Müller cells. Methods The retina from 5 clean newborn SD rats were isolated and digested by 0. 01% trypsin and cultured in DMEM containing 10% fetal bovine serum. The cellular suspension was then prepared, and the target cells were screened using flow cytometry based on the size and the quantity of cells. Cultured and passaged cells were identified by transmission electron microscope and light microscope. Immunocytochemistry was used to detecte the expression of GFAP in cultured cells for the determination of type and purity of the cells. Results The cells showed the similar shape to retinal Müller cells after primarily culture with the large volume, and some small other types of cells could been seen. The growth of cells was quickly 3 weeks later. The fibroblasts were removed using sticking-wall by steps, and neurons were eliminated following passage. Aboundent of cellular organs were seen under the transmission electron microscope. The positive response rate of the cells for CFAP was 100%. Conclution Flow cytometry offer a rapid and feasible approach for purifying Muller cell and it builds the foundation for further study about Müller cells.

Objective To know the effect of pre-hospital emergency care for patients with acute cranio-cerebral injury. Methods Selected 312 patients with acute cranio-cerebral injury from Jan of 2005 to Jan of 2009 as the emergency group, selected 285 patients with acute cranio-cerebral injury from Jan of 2000 to Dec of 2004 as the control group. Retrospective analized the clinical condition between the two groups to know the effect of pre-hosptial emergency cares. Results There was significant difference of dead rate betweent the two groups, the prognosis of the two groups was also different. Conclusions Effective pre-hospital emergency care is very important for patients with acute eranio-cerebral injury, which can avoid certain complications and reduce dead rate.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of fractionated ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser combined with microneedle for depressed acne scars. Methods Totally 86 patients with depressed acne scar were randomly divided into 2 groups:the treatment group received fractionated ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser combined with microneedle technology and the control group only received fractionated ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser. The treatment interval was 1 to 3 months, and the whole course was 2-8 times. The total effective rate and the adverse reaction were analyzed in the facial acne scar. Results The surface of depressed acne scars was significantly improved.ECCA score of all patients declined obviously after treatment, the score of the treatment group declined from 61± 11 to 45± 15,and the control group declined from 57± 14 to 40± 16.There were significantly statistical differences in the results of each group (P<0.05).More treatment times resulted in better surface improvement. The total effective rate were 81.8% (18/22) and 100% (24/24) in the treatment group, and 80.0% (16/20) and 100% (20/22) in the control group. The course was 6.8± 1.6 months in the treatment group and 20.8±4.6 months in the control group (P<0.05) to get a similar satisfied result. There were no obvious adverse reactions except two cases of erythema and pigmentation in the treatment group and 5 cases in the control group. The former was with less adverse reactions. Conclusions Ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser combined with microneedle technique is effective for facial acne scars, with less complications and shorten treatment course.
