Oral imaging techniques have been widely and increasingly used in clinical practice.This article reviews the functions,characteristics and principles of three kinds of oral imaging instruments including panoramic x-ray unit,intraoral x-ray unit and stomatology endoscope.

Objective To discuss cultivation of higher vocational nursing talents in the model of learning and working rotation during the cooperation of school and hospital. Methods Students were cultivated by two years school study, two years learning and hospital work rotation and one year hospital position practice which was adopted as an "221" mode by means of organizational leadership,agreed safeguard and co-management. Half day learning and half day practice in four learning situation which have been transformed from the real professional workplace. Results Scores of professional core courses and operation skills had been improved significantly; Students cultivated by "221" mode had more superiority on the aspects of post adaptability, hand skills, communication skills and the ability of linking theory to practice. Conclusions The model of learning and working rotation during the cooperation of school and hospital is the important way of cultivating higher vocational nursing talents.

As the development of hospital information systems in the third-tier hospitals of the first grade in China gradually deepens, there has appeared an urgent need to formulate standards for the management of such systems. The paper offers proposals for the structure, composition and main responsibilities of the centers for hospital information management, posts setting and post responsibilities in the centers, the number of allocated personnel in the centers and the number of personnel required for various posts, and management standards and operating procedures in the centers.

Objective:To establish an ICP-MS method to determine the contents, extraction and migration of Mg and Al in poly-propylene infusion bottles. Methods:An ignition pretreatment method was adopted to determine the contents of Mg and Al in the mate-rials. Five different extraction media with extreme extraction were used to extract and test Mg and Al in polypropylene infusion bottles. Three injections commonly used in clinics were put into polypropylene infusion bottles to carry out accelerated experiment, and the con-tents of Mg and Al were determined by ICP-MS. Results:Mg and Al both had a good linear relationship within the range of 0. 025-1. 0μg·ml-1 (r =0.999 8 and 0.999 0). The recoveries for polypropylene infusion bottles and extraction and migration test were 93. 77%-105. 0% and 96. 53%-103. 89% with RSD of 0. 4%-6. 9% and 1. 0%-7. 1%(n=9), respectively. Conclusion:The meth-od is accurate, sensitive and simple, which can provide reference for the safety data of polypropylene infusion bottles.

Objective To detecte the pathogenetic mechanism of cortical deficit in persons with strabismic amblyopia by blood oxygenation level dependent-functional magnetic resonance imaging (BOLD-fMRI). Methods The data of BOLD-fMRI of occipital visual cortex in 11 persons with strabismic amblyopia and 8 healthy ones were collected by 1.5T MRI system. The results of binocular pixel exponent in strabismic amblyopia group was compared with that in the normal group and the result of and average activation of cortical neuron in strabismic amblyopia group was analyzed. Objective To investigate the level of nurses′preparedness and influencing factors of nurses with low seniority in Anhui province. Methods Totally 295 nurses with low seniority were recruited by convenience sampling method. They were investigated by a self-designed demographic data questionnaire and the Disaster Preparedness Evaluation Tool. Results The score of the disaster nursing ability of the nursing managers was 163.85 ± 32.41, the mean score was 3.64 ± 0.72. Regression analysis showed that the gender, the experience of disaster rescue,disaster training were the influencing factors of disaster preparedness. Conclusions The capacity of disaster preparedness for nurses is not ideal. There is still room for improvement among nurses in Anhui province to enhance disaster preparedness, and improved disaster nursing training system is needed to achieve this.

Objective To investigate the effect on the menstrual patterns and sexual quality of life of patients with adenomyosis after treated with Mirena IUD.Methods56 patients with adenomyosis who were treated with Mirena IUD were recruited from August 2009 to December 2009.We used Menstrual blood loss chart method,Dysmenorrhea score method and Brief Index of Sexual Function for Women (BISF-W) to evaluate the menstrual pattern,the volume of uterus and sexual quality after1,3,6,9,12 months.{Results53 patients were followed up,the rate was 94.6%.The condition of 56 patients became better after treated with Mirena for 3,6,9,12 months,dysmenorrhea[Placed before:(3.15±0.91)points;After placing:(1.41±0.51)points,(0.22±0.09)points,(0.07±0.01)points,0 points]and menstrual quantity[Placed before:(12.0±57.5)points;After placing:(71±23.1)points,(29±19.4)points,(18±10.5)points,(10±4.7)points]were both reduced(P＜0.05),the symptoms were not significantly improved after 1 month(P＞0.05).D2 indicators was significantly improved after 3 months of treatment (P＜0.05),sexual function was also improved after 6 months(P＜0.05～0.01).ConclusionsMirena IUD has a good effect on the menstrual pattern and sexual function for patients with adenomyosis.

AIM: Some studies found that the glucose uptake ability of diabetes mellitus mice is stronger after feeding with taurine. Whether the taurine can affect adipocytes or not deserves further studies. This article investigates the effects of taurine on the differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes and detects the mechanics. METHODS: Experiments were performed in the Laboratory Center of Xiangya Third Hospital of Central South University from July to September 2006. ①3T3L1 preadipocytes were provided by Shanghai Cell Bank of China Academy of Sciences. ②3T3-L1 preadipocytes were cultured in high glucose DMEM medium containing fetal bovine serum of 0.10 volume fraction, 108 u/L benzylpenicillin and 80?1010 U/L streptaquaine. After confluence, cells at 5?107 L-1 were incubated in culture flask, and induced with 0.5 mmol/L IBMX, 0.5 mg/L insulin and 1 ?mol/L dexamethasone. The cells in an experimental group were intervened with taurine, whereas these in a control group were not treated with taurine. Oil O staining was used to observe the development of adipose cells. C3T3-L1 preadipocytes were treated with 10,20 mmol/L taurine respectively for 24 and 48 hours. RNA and protein were extracted in the control group and the experimental group. ③Genes related to adipose cells development was examined by RT-PCR and Western-blot. RESULTS: ①The number of cells stained by oil O was less in the experimental group than the control group in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes treated with 10 mmol/L taurine for 14 days. ②After C3T3-L1 preadipocytes were treated with 10,20 mmol/L taurine respectively for 24 and 48 hours, there were no changes in expression of Insig-2 protein, PPAR, Insing-2, adiponectin, adiponectin receptor, GLUT-4, AP-2 mRNA. CONCLUSION: Taurine inhibits the differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes, but the mechanics still need to be investigated.

In the present study, the effect of serum (fetal bovine serum, FBS) on cellular uptake behaviors of DNA tetrahedron (TDNs) was investigated.Fluorescence-labeled TDNs were synthesized by self-assembly and purified with HPLC to achieve TDNs product with purity of 95%.By means of flow cytometry and confocal microscopy, the kinetics of TDNs endocytosis in HeLa cells in the presence or absence of FBS was compared.The results showed that TDNs remained intact in complete medium and cell lysate for more than 12 hours.FBS increased the amount of internalized TDNs in HeLa cells, whereas it did not change the route of caveolin-dependent endocytosis.Herein, our study provided a new insight into the effects of biomolecules on the interaction between cells and DNA nanostructures, which helped the future development of DNA-based intracellular nanocarriers.
