1.Electroacupuncture regulates pain and its effect on IL-17 and IL-17R expression of spinal cord in New Zealand rabbit with osteoarthritis
Chongqing Medicine 2017;46(17):2326-2329
Objective To investigate whether electroacupuncture(EA) regulates the pain in New Zealand rabbits with osteo arthritis by inhibiting the IL-17 and IL-17R expression in spinal cord. Methods New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into the sham operation group, inflammation model group, sham operation+ IL-17 group, inflammation+ IL-17 group, inflammation + EA group and inflammation +sham EA group,8 cases in each group. The rabbit osteoarthritis model was established by using the papaya protease,IL-17 and IL-17 antiserum was injected into the spinal canal,The EA group selected the EA at Zusanli point(30 min,2 Hz continuous wave,1~ 2 mA),the sham EA group adopted the non-acupoint stimulation. Then the pain threshold of rabbits was detected. The mRNA expression of IL-17 and IL-17R in rabbit spinal cord tissue was detected by RT-qPCR and the protein expression was detected by Western-Bolt.Results The rabbit pain threshold was significantly decreased after constructing the New Zealand osteoarthritis model(P<0.05),and the spinal canal injection of IL-17 could significantly decrease the pain threshold of sham operation New Zealand rabbit(P<0.05),while the spinal canal injection of IL-17 antiserum could significantly increase the pain threshold of osteoarthritis model rabbit.Selecting EA at Zusanli point could significantly enhance the rabbit pain threshold (P<0.05).The mRNA and protein expression of IL-17 and IL-17R of the osteoarthritis model group were significantly increased (P<0.05),while the expressions were significantly decreased after EA stimulation(P<0.05).Conclusion The pain occurrence of New Zealand rabbit osteoarthritis may involve the IL-17 abnormal expression in spinal cord.EA may regulate the osteoarthritis pain by inhibiting the expression of IL-17 and IL-17R in spinal cord.

International Eye Science 2015;(2):292-294
AlM: To compare the effects of external approach microsurgery and conventional external approach surgery for retinal detachment ( RD) .METHODS: From January 2010 to January 2013, 60 patients (60 eyes) in our hospital were randomly divided into experimental group (29 cases, 29 eyes) and control group ( 31 cases, 31 eyes ) , the external approach microsurgery and conventional external approach surgery were performed respectively ( by the same skilled doctor ) . Retinal reattachment rate, visual acuity improvement rate and operative time were compared between two groups.RESULTS:lt cost shorter time for the external approach microsurgery than that of conventional external approach surgery ( P = 0. 0087 ). The once successful retinal reattachment rate in experimental group was 93% ( 27 cases ) , which was higher than that in control group (90%, 28 cases), there was no statistical difference. The vision improvement rate in control group was 86% ( 25 cases ) , compare to 90% ( 28 cases ) in experimental group, there was no statistical differences. CONCLUSlON: No statistical differences showed in visual acuity improvement and the once retinal reattachment rate between the two groups for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. However, it is believed that external approach microsurgery could be faster, easier to learn with satisfactory effect.

China Pharmacist 2016;19(6):1150-1153
Objective:To evaluate the effect of clinical pharmacists in the continued therapy of stroke patients .Methods:Totally 146 cases were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group according to the standard matching meth -od.The observation group was treated with the continued therapy .The control group was given one-month telephone follow-up after the discharge. The differences in the drug compliance (Morisky scale), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1C), serum total cholesterol ( TC), low density lipoprotein ( LDL-C), health behaviors ( HPLPⅡscale) and relapse rate were compared between the two groups in the 3rd, 6th and 12th month after the discharge. Results:The differ-ences in the above indices were statistically significant between the two groups ( P <0.05) at the various time points , and those were more significant with time extending (P<0.01).The difference of the relapse rate in the 3rd, 6th and 12th month after the discharge between the two groups were significant .Conclusion: Clinical pharmacists can improve the drug compliance and health behaviors of stroke patients and reduce the relapse rate .It is worthy to be recommended in clinics .

Formative assessment is in conformity with the teaching concept of problem-based learning (PBL).It is to make a real-time,dynamic and sustainable observation and evaluation in the whole teaching process. It is helpful to improve learning and teaching continuously. The PBL clinical teaching courses of long-schooling program in our school obtained the certain effect. It used the formative evaluation mode. The homemade students mutual table and teacher evaluation table were used in PBL course.Specifically, students' self-evaluation and mutual-evaluation were made, and then teacher gave some comments in 10 minutes before the end of each class.Every student was scored by the group leader and teacher according to all these abilities, such as the power of expression, question ability, communication skills, coordination skills and the ability to access. At the end of one case study students wrote self assessment reports, and then the teacher wrote reviews, graded and gave feedback to students. However, the final scores were archived as data instead of being part of the course grade. The application of formative assessment has promoted the teaching effect of PBL.However,in the following practice, teachers should be targeted to solve the problems such as lack of teachiers, the students' self evaluation and mutual evaluation being not fair and highly recognized, and a few students having slack psychology.

Objective There have been few research on the relationship between expression of HDAC4 and chemotherapy resistance in human lung adenocarcinoma. The present study aims to investigate the expression and clinical significance of HDAC4 in human lung adenocarcinoma tissues. Methods We selected 72 tissues in lung adenocarcinoma patients with docetaxel-resistant from January 2006 to December 2007 in Department of Oncology and Thoracic Surgery, Nanjing General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region, then evaluated the recent efficacy according to the RECIST criteria and divided the tissues into sensitive(n=32, included complete remission and partial remission) and insensitive(n=40, included stability and progress) groups. The expression of HDAC4 in tissues≥the HDAC4 optimal relative expression cut-off value(78.7) was high level HDAC4 group(n=35), otherwise it was low level HDAC4 group(n=37).QRT-PCR analysis was performed to detect the HDAC4 expression levels in sensitive group and insensitive group.Analyzed the progression free survival in high level HDAC4 group and low level HDAC4 group. Results The expression of HDAC4 was significantly higher in the insensitive group compared with the sensitive group [(1.42±0.30) vs (0.60±0.15), P<0.01].The median progression free survival was significantly shortened in the high level HDAC4 group compared with the low level HDAC4 group (10.2 months vs 5.8 months, P<0.05).ConclusionThe expression of HDAC4 increased in docetaxel-resistant lung adenocarcinoma patients, and it is expected to be a predictive indicator of the resistance of docetaxel.
