10 adult female rats were used to study blast injuries of the air-way and lung. The conclusions are as follows. 1. There was significant difference in arterial blood gas analysis between the normal control and injury group. 2. The une-venness in the lung damage, bleeding, tear of the alveolar septa induced by the air shock wave was predominant, by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) as well as by the light microscopy (LM) . The bleeding may be due to the capillary rupture of alveolar septa. The' rope-like' structures seen might represent the fibre component in the septa which had more resistance to the local force and remained after the other components were wiped away by explosion. 3. Striping and fissure of the epithelium of trachea and bronchi of the injured group were detected. 4. The pathological changes observed with SEM were compared to those with LM.

The morphological changes of the rat lung with blast injury are quantitified with a stereological method. After blast the pulmonary capillary volume and internal surface area decreased significantly, arithrnatic and harmonic mean thickness of the air-blood barrier, the volumes of P'MN and platelet in capillury increased remarkably. The morphometric lung diffusion capacity of oxygen (DLO2) is reduced markedly mainly due to the decrease of diffusion capacity of air-blood barrier and erythrocyte. The change of DLO2 is closely correlated with the arterial blood oxygen pressure, indicated that the damage of pulmonary capillary is one of the main causes of alveolar bleeding and the early respiratory insufficiency. A mathematic relation can be established between the intensity of the blast wave and the corresponding morphological changes of the injured lungs.

Semaphorins is the one of guidance molecule families.It is proved to have wide physiological function in the development of neutron and play important role in the pathogenesis of retinal degenerative diseases,gangliocyte apoptosis-related diseases and neovascularization.Previous studies showed that Semaphorins distribute in the cornea,lens and retina.Semaphorins play important role in the development of retina,visual system,cornea nerve and reduce the death of retinal ganglion cells(RGCs)caused by glaucoma,retinal detachment and hypoxic ischemic optic neuropathy.Semaphorin family-related gene mutation may be associated with retinal degenerative diseases.Some of the members could also inhibit angiogenesis.Since semaphorins and its receptors participate in the development of the vasculature and nervous systems,they are implied to be the potential new target of ophthalmopathic treatment.The current ptogress in structure and functions of the semaphorin family along with their relationship with ophthalmopathy were summarized in this study.

Object To investigate the reason of the low germination and sprout rates by studying on inhibitory activities of the crude extracts of the seed of the dried root of Saposhnikovia divaricata (Turcz.) Schischk (DRSD) on Brassica, wheat and the seed of DRSD. Methods The ether extract and residue of the crude extract were prepared and treated by paper chromatography. The inhibitory activities of different fractions with different Rf value were determined. Effect of steeping the seed in warm water at 41 ℃ and 45 ℃ for different periods of time was also studied, respectively. Results There are intrinsic inhibitor in the seed of DRSD with strong activity. The portion of its ether extract with Rf 0.6 showed the strongest inhibitory activity for the germination of Brassica seed. The crude extract of the seed of DRSD also has the stronger inhibitory activity to the germination and growth of tender root of S. divaricata and has the same effect on aerial part of wheat sprouts. Steeping with warm water and solvent can remove most of the intrinsic inhibitor. Conclusion Intrinsic inhibitor in the seed of DRSD is the main factor that results in the low germination and sprouting slowly after seeding.

Its manifestations are variable, including impaired skeletal mineralization, altered calcium and phosphate metabolism, recurrent fractures, pain, impaired mobility, premature tooth loss, developmental delay, and seizures.There are different attempts for HPP.Asfotase alfa (Strensiq?), is a bone-targeted recombinant TNSALP which has shown significant improvements in morbidity and mortality in patients with perinatal and infantile hypophosphatasia, and it can improve growth, mobility function and quality of life.This enzyme replacement therapy has generally been well-tolerated, with most adverse reactions being mild-to-moderate in nature.This article reviews recent advances in the treatment of the disease.

Objective Effective intervention on the setbacks and safety loopholes of clinical medication, in an effort to explore, establish and improve the ADR watchfulness system in the hospital step by step. MethodsCollection and compilation of ADRs and drug compatibility cases found in 2010 in the hospital. Intervention on drugs of safety risk exposure or medication factors by means of the ADR prewarning mechanism, medical rounds by hospital's directors regarding drug issues, communication between pharmacists and clinicians, ADR monitoring leadership team, and pharmaceutical affairs council. Results 143 cases of ADR were interfered with among all the 393 ADR cases reported by clinical departments in 2010, accounting for 36.4％ of all the reported cases. ConclusionHospitals need to pay more attention to the monitoring, analyzing and evaluation of ADRs, and take efficient intervention means to make drug use more rational and ensure safe medication for the people.

ObjectiveTo detect the expression of ARHI protein in adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix and normal uterine cervix tissue, and explore the pathogenesis of cervical cancer. MethodsThe expression of ARHI protein in 30 cases of adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix tissue and 30 cases of normal uterine cervix tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry and analyzed the relationship between ARHI protein and adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix. ResultsThe expression of ARHI protein in adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix tissue[46.67％(14/30)]was lower than that in normal uterine cervix tissue[90.00％(27/30)],the difference was significant (P＜0.05). There was intimate correlation between ARHI protein and histological grade, FIGO stage of adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix tissue (P ＜ 0.05), there was no correlation between ARHI protein and lymphatic metastasis (P＞0.05). ConclusionsThe expression of ARHI protein in adenooarcinoma of the uterine cervix decreases which indicates the expression of ARHI protein take part in the carcinogenesis of adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix. It can be used as a new diagnostic indicator of adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix.

Objective To investigate health related behavior and its affecting factors among occupational populations living in Xicheng District of Beijing so as to provide good evidence for health management services.Methods A total of 33 936 permanent residents aged 15 years or above living in Xicheng District of Beijing were randomly selected with stratified multi-stage cluster random sampling method from November 2008 to March 2009,among whom 12 980 incumbency residents aged 18-60 years old were analyzed.A self-designed questionnaire was used,and height,body weight and blood pressure were measured.Multivariate non-conditional logistic regression was used for data analysis.Results The responding rate was 92.3％ (33 936/36 761).The rate of lacking physical exercise,overweight,current cigarette smoking,alcohol drinking,over-intake of salt and obesity was 62.2％ (8 074/12 980),31.6％ (4 104/12 980),25.0％ (3 249/12 980),23.5％ (3 047/12 980),17.9％ (2 324/12 980)and 8.7％(1 125/12 980),respectively.In logistic regression,the risk factors of insufficient physical exercises were current cigarette smoking and over-intake of salt,while its protective factors were male,age and higher education level (all P＜0.05).The risk factors of overweight and obesity were male,age,alcohol consumption and over-intake of salt,while its protective factor was higher education level (P＜0.05).The risk factors of current cigarette smoking were male,age,alcohol drinking,lack of physical exercises and over-intake of salt,while its protective factor was higher education level (P＜0.05).The risk factors of alcohol consumption were male,age,overweight and obesity,current cigarette smoking and over-intake of salt (all P＜0.05).The risk factors of over-intake of salt were overweight and obesity,current cigarette smoking,alcohol intake and lack of physical exercises,while its protective factor was higher education level (P＜0.05).Conclusion Our investigation suggests that the occupational population should be offered with health education and behavioral intervention.
