1.Perioperative nursing of chest wall tumor removal and chest wall reconstruction
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2015;(26):1971-1973
Objective To analyze perioperative nursing methods of chest wall tumor removal and chest wall reconstruction. Methods 12 patients with chest wall tumor removal and chest wall revascularization were choosed as the research objects, and which were given prospective nursing intervention combined with high quality nursing intervention. Results 12 patients all cured without one case death occurred, and 4 cases complications. Followed up for 6 to 36 months, no local recurrence of alienation, chest wall deformity and rejection. Conclusions Proactive nursing intervention help to predict perioperative complications. High-quality nursing care including psychological nursing, skin nursing, pain nursing, function training etc, can promote patients recovery.
2.Several proteins involved in absorption of cholesterol in small intestine
Military Medical Sciences 2015;(6):472-475
Several proteins are involved in the absorption of cholesterol in small intestine.Niemann-Pick C1 like 1 (NPC1L1) mainly mediates the absorption of cholesterol, and acyl-coenzyme A ( CoA)∶cholesterol acyltransferase 2 (ACAT2) catalyzes the free cholesterol absorpted by intestine into cholesterol ester, while unesterified free cholesterol is secreted into intestinal lumen by ATP-binding cassette(ABC) transporters G5/G8(ABCG5/ABCG8).Transcription factor liver X receptor( LXR) plays an important role in the process of intestinal cholesterol absorption. The research progress in NPC1L1,ABCG5/ABCG8,ACAT2 and LXR is reviewed in this article.
3.Lupus nephritis patients complicated with infection during the therapy
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(06):-
Infection is a major complication in lupus nephritis patients, and also remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality in LN.The most common infected sites are respiratory tract, skin soft tissue, urinary system,et al.Immunological abnormity, use of glucocorticoid and immunosuppressive agents, renal insufficiency and hypoproteinemia are involved in the susceptibility of LN patients' infections.A wide variety of infectious pathogens are recognized in LN and bacterial infection is the most.Virus, fungi and tubercle bacillus also can be identified. The clinical manifestations of the infections are atypical, including fever, cough, headache, twitch, abnormity of spirit and action,et al and often confused with the multiplicity clinical manifestations of SLE activity. It is necessary to carry out clinical observation and pathogeny examination for diagnosis. All patients must receive effective anti-infective therapy in time, and adjust their glucocorticoid and immunosuppressive dosage. In order to avoid infection,it is necessary to strictly control the indication and dosage of glucocorticoid and immunosuppressers.

Objective To evaluate the effects of hemodialysis in aged patients with chronic renal failure, decrease complications,to improve their survival rate. Methods The clinical datas of aged patients suffering from CRF who received maintenance hemodialysis were summarized and analyzed about the survival, the cause of death and common complications. Results The commonest causes of death in aged patients with maintenance hemodialysis were cardiovascular events, infection and malnutrition. The common complications were cardiac insufficiency, infection. Conclusion Providing individual enough HD and treatment, improving nutritional situation, anemia and controlling infection may contribute to the reduction of the complications and the increasing of survival rate.
6.Leukemia Combined with Hepatosplenic Abscesses in 19 Children
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1993;0(03):-
Objective To improve the probability of early diagnosis and treatment on leukemia combined with hepatosplenic abscesses and to reduce the mortality of leukemia in relation to infection. Methods Nineteen children, who were diagnosed and treated as leukemia combined with hepatosplenic abscesses in Hematology Center of Beijing Children′s Hospital from Jan.2000 and Dec.2007,were selected.Data of them including presenting signs and symptoms, proof of diagnosis, culture data, treatment modality, opportunity of recovering chemotherapy, following up data and so on were reviewed. Results The neutrophil counts were more than 1.0?109 L-1 in all children when hepatosplenic abscesses were diagnosed by means of images.Positive blood cultures were found in 7 children and positive pharyngeal or stool cultures were found in 8 children.Sonographic-guided hepatic abscess biopsies were operated in 3 children, but microbiologic and histologic examination were negative.According to the positive cultures or the validity of empirical antimicrobial or antifungal therapy,7 cases of fungal,7 cases of bacterial and 5 cases of bacterial/anaerobic hepatosplenic abscesses were diagnosed.During follow-up period from 10 days to 2 years and 11 months(median time was 9 months),images improved in 17 children, abscesses disappeared in 10 children and chemotherapy restarted in 84% children. Conclusions The images should be taken opportunely when neutropenia recovered in neutropenic patients with prolonged fever. As blood cultures were often negative, the clinician must pay more attention to the other positive cultures involvement.Early biopsy is advised in order to obtain positive results. The prognosis of bacterial/anaerobic hepatosplenic abscesses is good by adopting an extended spectrum antimicrobial treatment.Antifungal therapy must last enough time in children with fungal hepatosplenic abscesses.Chemotherapy was advised when manifestations of hepatosplenic abscesses improved significantly, neutrophil counts recovered and images did not deteriorate.
7.Cause analysis on blindness and low vision of type 2 diabetes in Yangxin county, Hubei
International Eye Science 2015;(8):1419-1421
AIM:To investigate prevalence and causes of blindness and low vision of type 2 diabetes ( T2DM ) in Yangxin county, Hubei province.
METHODS: A total of 8 316 permanent residents, to carry out epidemiological survey of blindness and low vision. Carolina First T2DM patients were in the observation group, the other subjects admitted to the control group. Prevalence and etiology of blind and low vision were compared. Then the data only in the observation group were analyzed.
RESULTS: The rate of blindness and low vision appeared significantly higher, cataracts and retinopathy appeared significantly higher. With the increases of age, prevalence of blindness and low vision appeared significantly increased in the observation group. The rate of low vision was higher in women. Blind and low vision appeared significantly higher in junior high school educations. The above analysis was statistically significant (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: The prevalence of blindness and low vision of T2DM patients in our region were significantly higher than the unconsolidated. Blind and low vision in T2DM patients has a certain relationship with age, sex, education.

In the research field of quality control in Chinese medicinal materials, variation in active ingredients of medicinal plant is always the key and hot issues. With the development of high-throughput sequencing technologies and reducing cost, a large numbers of genes from medicinal plant were cloning and provide a solid foundation for further research of gene structure and its biological function, and also provides conditions for explore active ingredient variation and its quality control from the perspective of molecular pharmacognosy. This paper introduces the concept of homologous gene, gene duplication and classification. We prospect the function of duplicated genes in the role of molecular mechanism research about variation in active ingredients, aiming at providing a new way for medicinal materials quality control.
