2.The effects of early rehabilitation on hemiplegic patients caused by stroke
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2003;0(12):-
Objective To study the effect of early rehabilitation on motor function of hemiplegic patients after cerebral infarction. Methods Forty two patients were divided into two groups randomly: a rehabilitation group and a control group. Both groups were given the same internal medical treatment to stabilize the patients conditions in the early stage. In addition, the patients in the rehabilitation group were given early formal rehabilitation training, while those in the control group were given no formal rehabilitation training. The results of therapy were assessed by using SIAS method (Stroke Impairment Assessment Set). Results As shown by the SIAS result, the scores of motor function, muscle tone, range of motion (ROM), pain, trunk control and function on the unaffected side in the rehabilitation group were significantly better than those in the control group (all P
3.Combining acupuncture and copper-tube moxibustion for 39 cases of recurrent peripheral facial paralysis
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2015;(5):285-289
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with copper-tube moxibustion on peripheral facial paralysis. Methods:A total of 39 recurrent Bell’s palsy patients were treated with acupuncture plus self-made copper-tube moxibustion, once a day. Ten days made up a course of treatment. The patients were treated for 4 courses of treatment. There was a 3-day interval between two courses. The therapeutic efficacies were statistically analyzed after 4 courses of treatment. Results:Of the 39 cases, 18 cases obtained recovery, 15 cases got improvement and 6 cases failed. The total effective rate was 84.6%. Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with copper-tube moxibustion is effective for recurrent peripheral facial paralysis.
4.Optimization on Formulation of Controlled-onset Extended-release Tablets of Nicorandil by Central Composite Design-response Surface Method
Herald of Medicine 2016;35(8):867-870
Objective To optimize the formulation of controlled-onset extended-release tablets of nicorandilby central composite design-response surface method. Methods The tablets containing nicorandil were prepared bydry-compression coating technique. The influence factors included the amount of HPMC, the amount of EC, and the ratio of lactose/MCC in coating film. The evaluation parameter was Q4 h and Q5 h . The possibly optimal formulation was predicted by response surface method. Results The OD was simulated using second-order polynomial equation and the r2was 0.970 1.Optimal prescription was as follows:HPMC 89.96 mg, EC 46.21 mg, Lactose/MCC 1.87.Bias between the observed and predicted values of the OD was within 0.43%. Conclusion The controlled-onset extended-release tablets of nicorandil can release drug quickly in vitro at the predetermined time.Central composite design-response surface method can be used to optimize the formulation and the model developed in this study was proved highly predictable.

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2011;30(6):491-494
Objective To analyze the differential expression of protein in taxol-resistance from elderly females with ovarian cancer, by compared proteomics analysis and identified the candidated marker in the clinical tissues. Methods Soluble fraction proteins in two SKOV3 taxol-resistant cells, SK-TR30 and SK-TR2500 and one A2780 taxol-resistant cell, A2780-TR paired taxol-sensitive ovarian cancer cells were separated and prepared by two dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE). The differentially expressed proteins were selected and identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption/lonization time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS) and database search. 2-DE profiles with high resolution and reproducibility were obtained. Then highly expressed protein-cofilin1 which exist in two forms of de-phosphorylate was detected and compared between human ovarian cancer specimens including 22 elderly female with chemosensitive and 21 elderly female with chemoresistant by immunohistochemistry. Results Among the identified proteins, there were sixteen over/under-expressed proteins in taxol-resistant cell lines as compared with taxol-sensitive cell lines. In particular, overexpression of cofilin1 and destrin were displayed in all three taxol-resistant cell lines. The expression of phosphorylation of cofilin (P<0.05), but not cofilin1, displayed much higher in chemoresistant than in chemosensitive group. Conclusions Cofilin1 may play a role of taxol resistance by phosphorylation of ovarian cancer cell. However, the mechanisms need to be elucidated further.
8.A preliminary study of validity of the Stroke Impairment Assessment Set
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2003;0(03):-
Objective To test the validity of the Stroke Impairment Assessment Set (SIAS) among the subjects with acute stroke. Methods Forty two patients with acute stroke were assessed by use of SIAS, Brunnstrom movement assessment, Fugl Meyer movement assessment and Functional Independence Measure (FIM). The correlations among SIAS motor function item scores, Brunnstrom grades and Fugl Meyer scores and the correlation between SIAS total scores and FIM scores were studied. Results There were significantly positive correlations among SIAS motor function item scores, Brunnstrom grades and Fugl Meyer scores ( r =0.7440-0.9426). A significantly positive correlation also existed between the SIAS total score and FIM score( r =0.9231). The intra class correlation within SIAS was significant( r =0.8892-0.9787). The regression equations could be made between SIAS motor function scores and Fugl Meyer scores, SIAS total scores and FIM scores. Conclusion SIAS is a valid instrument when it is used to assess the subjects with acute stroke.
9.Histomorphology,cellular biocompatibility and tensile force resistance property of fibrin-binding amniotic membrane in vitro
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the histomorphology, cellular biocompatibility in vitro and tensile force resistance property of fibrin-binding amniotic membrane(FBAM)and to explore its feasibility and superiority using as ocular surface graft. Methods After observing the morphology of FBAM under light microscope and scanning electron microscope,we did primary culture of corneal epithelial cells, taking monolayer fibrin-binding amniotic membrane as carrier, then observed cell growth overlay area. The elongation nature of FBAM was tested on electronic universal testing machine by calculating elastic modulus, using bilayer amniotic membrane(BAM)and monolayer amniotic membrane(MAM)as controls. Results The fresh FBAM was integrated as a whole, with structurally complete fibrin and amniotic membrane as well as tight binding of fibrin to amniotic membrane. The reserved FBAM was structurally complete, brittler than the fresh FBAM,while amniotic membrane still bound tightly to the fibrin, but under microscope the fiber reticular formation was fairly fuzzy.Single layer of epithelial cells was formed on FBAM after about seven-day culture in vitro.Disparity of cell growth overlay area was significant(P

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(22):-
[Objective]To evaluate the technique and outcome of arthroscopic reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) with preservation of the remnents.[Method]From June 2005 to May 2006, 28 knees with ACL tear in 28 patients were verified with arthroscopy in this department.Of them,8 knee were combined with lateral meniscus tear and 6 combined with medial meniscus tear. All the damaged ACLs were reconstructed with single bundle of autogenous quadrupled hamstring tendons under arthroscopy without remove of the remnants of ACL. Bioabsorbable interference screw was used for direct anatomic fixation of the reconstructed ligament.[Result]No severe complication occurred in early stage after operation in the 28 patients. All of them were followed up for 12 to 24 months with an average of 18 months. Lysholm score was remarkablely improved from 46~80 (mean 60.75?9.54) preoperatively to 85~100 (mean 95.89?6.24) at the latest follow up (P
