The cystic lesions within the knee joint are rare, contrary to those located around the knee. They usually are eniscal or ganglion cyst, reported in association with the joint capsule of the knee or the menisci and close to the peroneal tendons. The intraarticular ganglion cyst arising from the cruciate ligaments are rare and cause pain, effusion and limitation of the knee joint. We report (he case of a patient with right knee joint pain caused hy an intraarticular ganglion cyst arising from the posterior cruciate ligament with review of reference.

2.The Effect of Personality Type and Job Performance on Emotional Exhaustion and Job Satisfaction - Staff of the Center for Children's foodservice management -

OBJECTIVES: This study examined the relationship between the personality traits and job performance of Centers for Children's Foodservice Management (CCFSM) staff on emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction. In addition, the characteristics of the center organization were examined to provide practical guidelines for the operation of the center. The aim was to determine management implications with an important meaning in human resource management to enhance the efficiency of the operation of Centers for Children's Foodservice Management (CCFSM). METHODS: Out of 207 centers, there were 1,057 employees at 173 centers who agreed to participate in the study, the questionnaire was mailed on February 17, 2017 and collected by mail on March 31, 2017. Finally, 81 centers (46.82%) participated in the survey and 493 questionnaires were used. RESULTS: Neuroticism among the five personality factors had a positive (+) influence on ‘cynicism’ and ‘exhaustion’ among the three subordinate factors of emotional exhaustion, negative (−) effects on the ‘job’ among the six subscales of job satisfaction. In addition, openness showed a negative (−) effect on ‘loss of professional confidence’ of emotional exhaustion and positive (+) relationship with the ‘job’ of job satisfaction. Agreeableness appeared to have a negative (−) effect on all factors of emotional exhaustion and a positive (+) influence on all factors of job satisfaction. As a result of analyzing the effects of job performance on emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction, the planning and operations management team showed a positive (+) influence on all factors of emotional exhaustion and negative (−) influence on all factors of job satisfaction. On the other hand, the nutrition management team showed a negative (−) influence on all emotional exhaustion factors and a positive (+) influence on the factors of job satisfaction. The hygiene management team showed a positive (+) relationship with ‘Emotional exhaustion’ among the subordinate factors of emotional exhaustion and a negative (−) influence on the ‘Educational opportunity’ of job satisfaction. CONCLUSIONS: The personality type and job performance of Centers for Children's foodservice management (ccfsm) staff significantly affected the emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction.

4.The Effects of a Safety Management Program on Safety Accident-related Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior of Elementary School Students in Korea.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of a safety management program on safety accident-related knowledge, attitude and behavior of elementary school students in Korea. METHODS: This study adopted nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The number of subjects was 34 in the experimental group and 31 in the control group. The safety management program was performed for approximately 50 minutes each session, once a week for 8 weeks. Data were collected from March 14th to June 23th, 2006, and analyzed by chi2 test and independent t-test with SPSS WIN 16.0. RESULTS: There were statistically significant differences in safety-related knowledge (t=3.010, p=.006) and behavior (t=18.833, p=.001) between the experimental group and the control group. The score of attitude was different between the experimental group and the control group but the difference was not statistically significant. CONCLUSION: The safety management program used in this study was appropriate for elemental school students and affected safety-related knowledge and behavior of elementary school students. Therefore safety education should be provided systematically for elementary schools over the whole country.

5.Analysis of Miscorrection after Implantation of the Toric Intraocular Lens.

PURPOSE: To evaluate the efficacy and stability of AcrySof Toric intraocular lens (IOL) implants and to analyze the miscorrection that resulted after implantation. METHODS: This retrospective study included 422 eyes of 348 patients who underwent cataract surgery with implantation of the AcrySof toric IOL between December 2011 and June 2013. We evaluated uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA), best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), keratometry and refraction preoperatively and 3 months postoperatively. The axis of implanted AcrySof Toric IOL was measured using the KR-1W aberrometer before mydriasis. At 3 months postoperatively, patients with a residual cylindrical power of 0.50 diopters (D) or more, and having an IOL rotation of 10 degrees (degrees) or more were considered having miscorrection. RESULTS: UCVA (log MAR) improved from 0.58 +/- 0.35 to 0.18 +/- 0.26. Preoperative corneal astigmatism was 1.46 +/- 0.72 D and postoperative refractive cylindrical power was 0.45 +/- 0.30 D. The postoperative miscorrection was 50.5% in the T3 group, 35.7% in the T4 group, and 27.2% in the T5 group. The incidence of overcorrection was significantly higher in the T3 group than in the T4 and T5 group. In eyes with with-the-rule (WTR) astigmatism, overcorrection was found in 36.4% (32/88 eyes), while in eyes with against-the-rule (ATR) astigmatism, undercorrection was found in 37.6% of cases (44/117 eyes). There were five cases of IOL rotation at 3 months postoperatively. CONCLUSIONS: AcrySof Toric IOL was effective in correcting corneal astigmatism and had good rotational stability. However, the incidence of miscorrection, especially for overcorrection, was higher with lower power toric IOL. Patients with WTR astigmatism tend to have overcorrection, while those with ATR show a tendency toward undercorrection, suggesting that these changes considered at the time of cataract surgery.

7.Development of a Self-Care Performance Scale for Patients with Stomach Cancer after Gastrectomy.

PURPOSE: This study was to develop a valid and reliable self-care performance scale for stomach cancer patients with gastrectomies. METHODS: The initial items for the self-care performance scale were derived by a literature review and in-depth interviews with stomach cancer patients with gastrectomies and a conceptual framework based on Orem's theory was used. The identified items were evaluated for content validity by experts. The main survey with refined items was performed with a sample of 232 patients. The data were analyzed using item analysis, Pearson correlation coefficients, Cronbach's alpha and factor analysis. RESULTS: A 22 item instrument with 7 factors was developed and the total variance explained was 66.9%. The factors were 'manage dietary restriction', 'avoid hazards', 'rest and elimination', 'manage social support and stress', 'regulation diet', 'meal portion control' and 'seek information and follow-up care'. The internal consistency, Cronbach's alpha was .86 and reliability of the subscale ranged from .65 to .82. CONCLUSION: This study suggested that the self-care performance scale is a reliable and valid instrument to measure self-care performance for patients with stomach cancer after gastrectomy.

Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a transient condition characterized by altered mental status, seizure, headache, and visual disturbance with typical neuro-imaging findings in the bilateral parieto-occipital regions. Clinicians should be aware of this syndrome because delayed diagnosis and treatment result in irreversible neurologic deficits. We present the case of a 77-year-old male diagnosed with PRES in the setting of postoperative critical illness caused by small-bowel strangulation.

10.The Influence of Emotional Labor, Positive Psychological, Capital, and Rewards on the Retention Intention among Coronavirus Disease 2019 Ward Nurses in Regional Public Hospitals

Purpose:
The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of emotional labor, positive psychological capital, and rewards on the retention intention among coronavirus diseases 19 (COVID-19) ward nurses in regional public hospitals.
Methods:
The subjects were nurses who directly participated in nursing while wearing protective gear (level D or higher) in a COVID-19 ward. Data were collected from March 15 to March 29, 2021, and a total of 187 questionnaires were analyzed. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS for Windows version 27.0.
Results:
The mean scores of emotional labor, positive psychological capital, and retention intention were 3.48, 3.74, 3.22, and 5.75. The factors influencing retention intension were positive psychological capital (β=.28, p<.001), and the explanatory power for retention intention was 20.0%.
Conclusion
These results indicate that in order to increase retention intention, it is necessary to foster nurses with high positive psychological capital who can make good use of positive emotions, and additional research is needed to clarify the factors influencing nurses’s retention intention to remain in the organization.
