Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(03):-
Objective To study the effect of sodium hyaluronate(SH) on cornea preservation to provide a basis for eyes banks cornea preservation. Methods SH was applied in the short-term and middle-term cornea preservation. The preservation effect was evaluated by corneal morphology, trypan blue-alizarin red staining, activity assay of SDH and G-6-P enzymes, and ultrastructural observation of corneal endothelium. Results The above indices were obviously better in the experiment group than in the control group (P

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(16):40-42
Objective To investigate the risk factors of mild renal impairment in cerebral infarction patients. Methods One hundred and fifty patients with cerebral infarction were enrolled from June 2012 to June 2013,and all patients received cranial magnetic resonance imaging at the first week. The clinical data of patients were recorded in detail,24 h microalbuminuria (mALB) was detected, renal function was assessed.According to mALB,the patients were divided into normal renal function group (105 cases) and mild renal dysfunction group (45 cases).Clinical risk factors between 2 groups were compared, and multivariate regression analysis was done. Results Age in mild renal dysfunction group was greater than that in normal renal function group [(67.04 ±9.37) years vs.(63.01 ± 11.18) years],the incidence of hypertension and multiple lacunar infarction were higher than those in normal renal function group[57.8% (26/45) vs.33.3% (35/105),57.8% (26/45) vs.22.9% (24/105)],leukoaraiosis grade was higher than that in normal renal function group, there were significant differences (P < 0.05 or < 0.01).Logistic regression analysis found that hypertension (OR =1.04 1,P =0.045) and leukoaraiosis (OR =2.048,P =0.000) were independent risk factors for cerebral infarction patients with mild renal impairment. Conclusions The incidence of mild renal impairment is higher in cerebral infarction patients, and is closely related to hypertension and leukoariosis.Early detection of 24 h mALB in cerebral infarction patients has important clinical significance.

Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2021;36(4):300-302
Clinical data of 2 children with cystic fibrosis (CF) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection in the Department of Pediatrics of Sichuan Provincial People′s Hospital from April 2018 to June 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.Patient 1 was an 11-year-old girl with no history of recurrent respiratory infections. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was found in the first sputum culture.A large number of yellow and white secretions were visible under repeated fiberoptic bronchoscopy.Chest CT showed multiple spots and tree-in-bud signs around the bronchi of both lungs. CFTR gene test results revealed 3 heterozygous mutations: c.2909G>A (chr7: 117246728), c.*133T>A (chr7: 117307295) and c. *125delT (chr7: 117307285). The other patient was a 7-year-old boy with a history of recurrent respiratory infections. His parents were close relatives.Multiple cultures of sputum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of the boy were Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and chest CT suggested dilation and inflammation in bronchi of both lungs.Gene detection showed that the c. 380T>G homozygous mutation at chromosome chr7-117171059 resulted in an amino acid change p. leu127stop (nonsense mutation). This article suggests that CF should be considered for Pseudomonas aeruginosa infected children having signs of bronchiectasis on chest CT and a large number of secretions under bronchoscopy.Besides, it is necessary for such kind of children to perform genetic testing in time to confirm the diagnosis as soon as possible.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(9):80-83
ObjectiveTo compare the content difference of total flavonoid, total polyphenol and scavenging activity to DPPH free radical ofDracocephalum tanguticum Maxim (DtM) before and after roasted; To explore the relationship between the contents of active components and antioxidant activity in the DtM before and after roasted.MethodsThe crude and roasted DtM were extracted with 75% ethanol as the solvent. The contents of total flavonoid and total polyphenol were detected by NaNO2-Al (NO3)3-NaOH and Folin-ciocalteu methods, respectively. The antioxidant abilities were evaluated by 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging activity. ResultsThe content of total flavonoids in the crude DtM (6.442%)

Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(06):-
Objective: To find out the attitudes of university students and postgraduates to donating corneas after their death in Chongqing. Method: In order to find out the attitudes to the donation of corneas and remains after their death, the understanding degree of the knowledge on donation and the actual participation, cue formulated 10 questions including 3-4 selective answers each one to have a questionnaire investigation among university students and postgraduates of three universities in Chongqing. Result: In 311 questionnaires, 288 of them are valid. 53.82 % of students investigated are willing to donate their corneas and 77.08% of them support the donation, but the majority don't want to go through the formalities of donation and don't know how to deal with this; nearly 2/3 of them don't know an eye bank has been set up in Chongqing; 77% of them agrees to legislate or make the local regulations as soon as possible. Conclusion: There are quite a number of volunteers in the university students, but the number of the actual participants is small. Therefore we need to strengthen the propaganda of the eye bank to impel more students to comprehend the knowledge of donation and join the volunteers.

Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2016;36(6):19-24
Interferon ( IFN) kills tumor through:direct tumor killing, stimulating immune response to tumor cells by activating the immune system and inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. However, its clinical application has been restrained by the deficiencies such as short half-life and severe side effects.IFN-antibody fusion can bring IFN to the vicinity of tumors using tumor specific antibody, while reducing the concentration of IFN in the rest parts of the body. Thus, system toxicity caused by IFN can be significantly lessened. We herein summarized the research and development of preclinical antibody-interferon conjugates and provide new thought on the development of IFN or antibody based fusion proteins.

Salinity is the main limitation factor for plant growth and crop production. Many approaches to enhance plant resistance to salinity by genetic engineering have been developed.Over-expressions of salt-tolerance related genes encoding proteins involved in signal transduction pathways, ion channels and compatible solutes synthesis for the stabilization of biological structures under salinity stress are the most often used strategies. The recent progresses in genetic engineering to improve salt tolerance in plants and the possible problems in researches was reviewed.
