Objective:To investigate the situation of narcotic drug use in the out-patient department of our hospital to provide reference for the rational use of drugs.Method:By collecting all the prescriptions of the out-patient department of our hospital in 2007,the designations,dosages,dosage form,usage,synptoms and section offices of the narcotic drug were statistically analyzed.Result:Top 3 of the prescriptions amounts in the out-patient department were morphine sulfate sustained-Relrase tablets,pethidine hydrochloride injection and oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets. Top 3 of the prescriptions amounts in DUI were fentanyl citrate injecton,bucinnazine hydrochlooride injection and morphine hydrochloride injection.Conclusion:The narcotic drug used in the out-patient clinic of our hospital is rational on the whole,and the doctors and pharmacists should pay much attention to the use and management of narcotic drug.

Objective To compare disinfection efficacy of three different air disinfection methods on the air in blood collection room.Methods Air disinfection in blood collection room was conducted by ultraviolet (UV)light, ozone disinfector (OD)and air purification disinfector respectively ,natural sedimentation method was used to take air specimens before ,after disinfection ,and during working condition of staff ,air disinfection efficacy was detec-ted.Results All three methods could decrease air bacterial count after disinfection ,the total number of bacteria in indoor air after disinfection met the class Ⅲ environmental requirement.Under working condition of staff ,the num-ber of bacteria of OD and UV light group increased rapidly,at 4 hours was (7.53±1.28)CFU/5 min·Φ90petri dish and (8.16±1.57)CFU/5 min·Φ90petri dish respectively;air purification disinfector disinfected for 4 hours under the condition of movement of personnel in blood collection environment,bacteria count still remained <4.0 CFU/5 min·Φ90petri dish.Conclusion Disinfecting continuously by air purification disinfector can ensure the effectiveness of air cleanliness in blood collection room.

BACKGROUND:Rabbit VX2 hepatocarcinoma models are characterized by expanded and infiltrative growth, abundant blood supply, similar pathological and imaging features to human hepatocelular carcinoma, so this model is ideal for imaging experiments. OBJECTIVE: To establish rabbit VX2 hepatocarcinoma models and compare two different laparotomy methods in establishing rabbit VX2 hepatocarcinoma models. METHODS:Thirty New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into two groups: traditional laparotomy (tumor particles were directly embedded into the liver with tweezers) and improved laparotomy (tumor particles were injected into the liver through a 15G syringe needle). The growth features of the tumor established in two different ways were compared by ultrasound. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The tumor formation rate was 100% in the two groups; the single rate was respectively 50% and 90%; the ectopic implantation rate was 50% and 10%, there were significant differences between two groups (P < 0.05). The mortality rate within 2 weeks was 33% and 0 in the two groups, with significant differences (P < 0.05). The improved laparotomy method is feasible for modeling rabbit VX2 hepatocarcinoma, due to minimal injury, short operation time, high success rate and stable features.

The electroencephalogram (EEG) has proved to be a valuable tool in the study of comprehensive conditions whose effects are manifest in the electrical brain activity, and epilepsy is one of such conditions. In the study, multiscale permutation entropy (MPE) was proposed to describe dynamical characteristics of EEG recordings from epilepsy and healthy subjects, then all the characteristic parameters were forwarded into a support vector machine (SVM) for classification. The classification accuracies of the MPE with SVM were evaluated by a series of experiments. It is indicated that the dynamical characteristics of EEG data with MPE could identify the differences among healthy, interictal and ictal states, and there was a reduction of MPE of EEG from the healthy and interictal state to the ictal state. Experimental results demonstrated that average classification accuracy was 100% by using the MPE as a feature to characterize the healthy and seizure, while 99. 58% accuracy was obtained to distinguish the seizure-free and seizure EEG. In addition, the single-scale permutation entropy (PE) at scales 1-5 was put into the SVM for classification at the same time for comparative analysis. Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) resides in a relatively hypoxia niche (volume fraction 1％～7％)compared to normoxia (20％).MSC cultured in hypoxia condition shows different biological features from those in normoxia condition.Hypoxia inducible factor-1 α (HIF-1 α),as one of main transcription factors in hypoxia,participates in the regulation of cell proliferation,differentiation,apoptosis,glycolysis and angiogenesis.Recent researches show that HIF-lα also plays an important role in regulating the survival,differentiation and migration of MSC.It turns out that hypoxia can improve survival and migration of MSC,enhance chondrogenesis but inhibit adipogenesis through HIF-lα and its downstream genes.However,whether hypoxia promotes or impedes osteogenesis remains controversial.Such differences can be caused by variances of tissue origination,oxygen concentration and culture condition.The comparison of different researches should be based on the same experiment condition.This review focuses on the influence of hypoxia on proliferation,apoptosis,differentiation and migration of MSC.

Objective To understand the status of malaria prevalence in Shanghai,so as to provide the evidence for evaluat-ing and promoting malaria elimination. Methods The data of population,malaria endemic and monitoring in Shanghai from 2005 to 2012 were collected and analyzed. The malaria positive rates in febrile patients and normal population,the malaria antibody lev-els of the floating population and location pupils,and the species and density of mosquitoes were investigated and the results were analyzed. Results The blood examples from 400 177 febrile patients with 0.36%of the total population were examined for malar-ia,and the annual rates of blood examination varied from 0.15%to 0.83%in the period of 2005 to 2012. Before 2010,the annual blood examination rate was lower than 0.20%,but increased significantly since 2010 because of the implementation of the Action of Malaria Elimination in Shanghai from 2010 to 2020. Totally 604 malaria cases were found and the positive rate of blood examina-tion was 0.15%. During the period of 2006 to 2008,more than 100 malaria cases were found every year,but the number of malaria cases decreased since 2009,and only 26 cases was found in 2012. Since 2011,all the malaria cases have been found infected out of China according to the questionnaire investigation. The malaria positive rate of blood examinations decreased from 0.61% to 0.03%yearly. The proportion of local residents who had the blood examination was 79.02%,but that of the malaria positive in float-ing population was 83.44%. The active case detection was carried out in 15 759 persons and five cases were found in 2007 and 2008,respectively. The level of malaria antibody was tested in 1 239 440 floating population with the average positive rate of 0.04%. The level of malaria antibody was also tested in 7 065 local pupils but there was no positive for malaria. Only Anopheles si-nensis was found in Shanghai suburb,but no other Anopheles mosquitoes were found at the city or towns. The peak of Anopheles den- sity was from the end of July to August. Conclusions Malaria surveillance is carried out efficiently in Shanghai,and the result shows Shanghai is in the phase of malaria elimination. The more attention should be paid to persons coming from malaria endemic areas for the malaria blood examination and the general and advanced hospital should maintain the ability of malaria blood exami-nations simultaneously.

Objective:To invetigate the use of targeted anticancer drugs in our hospital during 2011-2013 to provide reference for the clinical rational drug use. Methods:The utilization of anti-tumor molecular targeted drugs in our hospital during 2011-2013 was retrospectively analyzed in respect of consumption sum, DDDs and DDC. Results:The proportion of consmption sum of anti-tumor mo-lecular targeted drugs in the total consumption sum was increased year by year, and that in 2012 and 2013 was over 60%. Protease ki-nase inhibitors accounted for 41. 29%-73. 41% in the consumption sum of anti-tumor molecular targeted drugs; monoclonal antibody accounted for 19. 40%-30. 88%; the other drugs accounted for 7. 19%-27. 83%. The consumption sum and the number of receiving medication patients of rituxan and cetuximab were not synchronized well, and the patients were born the higher cost. Conclusion:The use of anti-tumor molecular targeted drugs in our hospital is increased year by year, and the oral administration of anti-tumor molecular targeted drugs is with especially wide application.

Objective:To study VEGF-C expression in colon cancer and the relationship of VEGF-C expression with clinicopathological features and prognosis.Methods:VEGF-C expression was examined by immnohistochemical staining in 44 cases of primary colon cancers.To analyze the relation of VEGF-C expression with clinicopathological features and prognosis.Results:Of the 44 cases of colon cancers,19 cases of carcinoma (43.2%) were evaluated to be VEGF-C positive expression and 25 cases of carcinoma (56.8%) were determined to be VEGF-C negative expression.VEGF-C expression was associated with tumor differentiation (P=0.003),nodal status (P=0.002) ,Dukes stage (P=0.001).The median survival time of the patients with positive VEGF-C expression was lower than that of patients with negative VEGF-C expression (P=0.0225).Metastatic status,the nodal status and VEGF-C were found to be significant independent prognostic factors (P=0.021,P=0.0004,P=0.0469,respectively).Conclusion:VEGF-C expression is upregulated in colon cancer.VEGF-C expression plays a important role in nodal metastasis.VEGF-C appears to be a new prognostic factor for the prediction of outcome in patients with colon cancer.

OBJECTIVE: To study the preparation of Jingluoning film-coated tablets. METHODS: The preparation of Jingluoning film-coated tablets was optimize by single factor method with granule characteristics, distribution of particle size, angle of repose, surface finish, rigidity and disintegration time limit as index. RESULTS: The optimal preparation method was as follows: the weight proportion of dry extraction to starch, dextrin and silica powder was 16.7 ∶ 16 ∶ 3 ∶ 1; the wetting agent was 90% alcohol; qualified tablets were prepared through wet granulation, tablet compressing and film coating. CONCLUSION: The preparation method is simple and practical. Prepared tablets were characterized with light weight, fast disintegration, low moisture content and good appearance and their quality is in line with the tablet general requirements stated in Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2005 edition).
