Children aerophagia is a relatively rare functional gastrointestinal disease. Its main clinical manifestations are swallowing air, chronic bloating, belching and increased anal exhaust.Since lack of understanding of children aerophagia in pediatricians,it can be very easily missed or misdiagnosed in clinic.Understanding of the research status about children aerophagia means to pediatric clinical guidance. This review summarizes the causes, clinical manifestation, diagnosis and treatment of children aerophagia.
2.The effects of DPPH on cochlear microcirculation.
Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2003;23(2):198-200
To investigate the effects of the free radical, 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picylhydrazyl, on cochlear blood flow, 20 guinea pigs were divided into 3 groups at random, 6 for control group, 6 for 1 mmol/L group and 8 for 0.1 mmol/L group. 2 microliters vehicle or drugs were dropped into round window membrane (RWM). Cochlear microcirculation was monitored by laser Doppler flowmeter (LDF), and mean arterial blood flow (MABP), which was transferred by pressure conductor sensor and preamplifier, was simultaneously recorded on the computer. Our results showed that MABP was stable throughout the experiment. Cochlear blood flow (CBF) increased by 10.32% (P < 0.05) in 1 mmol/L group, and decreased by 4.89% in 0.1 mmol/L group (P < 0.05). In control group cochlear microcirculation showed no significant changes. It is concluded that DPPH exerted effects on cochlear microcirculation.

Objective To investigate the role of externally regulated kinase (ERK) in a rat model of levodopa-induced motor complications. Methods The hemi-parkinsonian rat model was produced by injecting stereotaxically 6-OHDA to right medial forebrain bundle(MFB). First, rats were intraperitoneally treated with levodopa (50 mg/kg with benserazide 12.5 mg/kg, twice daily) for 22 days. On day 23, rats were treated with ERK inhibitor, PD98059 before levodopa administration. Rotational duration and peak rotation were estimated. After sacrificed, ERK1/2 phosphorylation was observed by Western blot. Results Our study showed that chronic treatment of lesioned rats with levodopa markedly upregulated the ERK1/2 phosphorylation of in lesioned striatum(155.6%±6.5%). PD98059 could reduce hyperphosphorylation of ERK1/2(85.4%±5.6%). Meanwhile, PD98059 reversed both the shortened rotational duration and increased peak rotation induced by chronic levodopa treatment. Moreover, PKC inhibitor could partly downregulated the ERK1/2 phosphorylation(101.2%±6.2%, compared with levodopa+vehide, t=3.2, P<0.05). Conclusions These results indicated that the development of motor complications could be associated with activation of ERK pathway. And more, activation of ERK was partly dependent on PKC. Pharmaceuticals which act to inhibit ERK pathway may be useful in the treatment of parkinsonism related motor complications.

Chinese Journal of Urology 1994;0(02):-
Objective To evaluate endoscopic management of bladder neck obstruction (BNO). Methods 44 patients suffering from BNO have been treated by transurethral resection of bladder neck (TURN). Results All patients have been followed up for 6~84 months with a mean of 48 months. The success rate has been 84%.Recurrence was observed in 4 (11%) for all of which TURN was carried out twice or three times with success. The causes of the 7 failures were neurogenic bladder, detrusor-extra-sphincter dyssynergy, BNO with chronic prostatitis (CP) or BNO with chronic cystitis in female patients. Conclusions Endoscopic management is a safe and efficient treatment for BNO.Careful consideration should be undertaken in case there is CP or for female patients.Postoperative adjunctive hormone supplement therapy and long-period urethral dilatation might be needed for preventing recurrence.

International Eye Science 2015;(2):292-294
AlM: To compare the effects of external approach microsurgery and conventional external approach surgery for retinal detachment ( RD) .METHODS: From January 2010 to January 2013, 60 patients (60 eyes) in our hospital were randomly divided into experimental group (29 cases, 29 eyes) and control group ( 31 cases, 31 eyes ) , the external approach microsurgery and conventional external approach surgery were performed respectively ( by the same skilled doctor ) . Retinal reattachment rate, visual acuity improvement rate and operative time were compared between two groups.RESULTS:lt cost shorter time for the external approach microsurgery than that of conventional external approach surgery ( P = 0. 0087 ). The once successful retinal reattachment rate in experimental group was 93% ( 27 cases ) , which was higher than that in control group (90%, 28 cases), there was no statistical difference. The vision improvement rate in control group was 86% ( 25 cases ) , compare to 90% ( 28 cases ) in experimental group, there was no statistical differences. CONCLUSlON: No statistical differences showed in visual acuity improvement and the once retinal reattachment rate between the two groups for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. However, it is believed that external approach microsurgery could be faster, easier to learn with satisfactory effect.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(05):-
Objective:To investigate the expression of NKG2D in peripheral blood of patients with ovarian benign or malignant tumors, and the expression of the human MHC class Ⅰ chain-related gene A(MICA) on the correspondent tumor tissues. To analyze and discuss the function of NKG2D in anti-ovarian cancer mechanism and its relation with immune escaping of cancer. Methods:Flow cytometry analysis was used to detect NKG2D in the peripheral blood of 42 ovarian carcinoma patients, 23 ovarian tumor patients and 20 health persons. The expressions of MICA in part of the correspondent tissues were examined by means of reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).Results:The expression of NKG2D were (94 23?6 02)%?(98 70?0 98)%?(98 61?1 59)% respectively, compared with the other two groups, the NKG2D expression in malignant group was significantly low; The rate of MICA mRNA expression in ovarian carcinomas was significantly higher than that in benign and normal tissues. No evident relation was found between the expression of MICA mRNA and the clinical factors. Conclusion:The activity of NK cell and the anti-cancer cellular immunity level reduce in patients with ovarian cancer; The decrease of the receptor NKG2D is a reason for the descend of the activity of NK cells; MICA mRNA expression is relative to malignant transformation; the immune-escape of ovarian cancer probably is relative to the down-regulation of NKG2D and the up-regulation of its ligand MICA.
