Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2014;(1):32-37
Objective To understand the status of malaria prevalence in Shanghai,so as to provide the evidence for evaluat-ing and promoting malaria elimination. Methods The data of population, malaria endemic and monitoring in Shanghai from 2005 to 2012 were collected and analyzed. The malaria positive rates in febrile patients and normal population, the malaria antibody lev-els of the floating population and location pupils, and the species and density of mosquitoes were investigated and the results were analyzed. Results The blood examples from 400 177 febrile patients with 0.36%of the total population were examined for malar-ia,and the annual rates of blood examination varied from 0.15%to 0.83%in the period of 2005 to 2012. Before 2010,the annual blood examination rate was lower than 0.20%,but increased significantly since 2010 because of the implementation of the Action of Malaria Elimination in Shanghai from 2010 to 2020. Totally 604 malaria cases were found and the positive rate of blood examina-tion was 0.15%. During the period of 2006 to 2008,more than 100 malaria cases were found every year, but the number of malaria cases decreased since 2009,and only 26 cases was found in 2012. Since 2011,all the malaria cases have been found infected out of China according to the questionnaire investigation. The malaria positive rate of blood examinations decreased from 0.61% to 0.03%yearly. The proportion of local residents who had the blood examination was 79.02%,but that of the malaria positive in float-ing population was 83.44%. The active case detection was carried out in 15 759 persons and five cases were found in 2007 and 2008,respectively. The level of malaria antibody was tested in 1 239 440 floating population with the average positive rate of 0.04%. The level of malaria antibody was also tested in 7 065 local pupils but there was no positive for malaria. Only Anopheles si-nensis was found in Shanghai suburb, but no other Anopheles mosquitoes were found at the city or towns. The peak of Anopheles den- sity was from the end of July to August. Conclusions Malaria surveillance is carried out efficiently in Shanghai, and the result shows Shanghai is in the phase of malaria elimination. The more attention should be paid to persons coming from malaria endemic areas for the malaria blood examination and the general and advanced hospital should maintain the ability of malaria blood exami-nations simultaneously.
2.Correlation of Traditional Chinese Medical Syndrome Patterns of Reflux Esophagitis with Esophagus Mucosal Performance Under Gastroscope and Gastrointestinal Hormones
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(4):594-597,602
Objective To explore the correlation of modern medical examination indexes with the traditional Chinese medical syndrome types of reflux esophagitis ( RE) , thus to supply evidence for the standardization of syndrome differentiation. Methods Seventy-six RE patients who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled into the study. And then we investigated the correlation of traditional Chinese medical syndrome types with endoscopicmucosal performance grading, plasma Ghrelin content, esophageal mucosal substance P ( SP) and vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) . Results (1) Syndrome patterns of RE showed certain correlation with the endoscopic mucosal performance (P<0.01) . Endoscopic mucosal performance grade 0-Ⅲ corresponded to the syndromes of gallbladder heat attaching stomach, liver-stomach disharmony/phlegm-qi blocking middle energizer, hepatogastric stagnant heat, middle energizer deficiency with reversed flow of qi, respectively. ( 2) The plasma Ghrelin content of RE patients with syndrome of phlegm-qi blocking middle energizer was lower than that of the patients with other syndrome patterns, and the difference was significant compared with the syndromes of hepatogastric sta gnant heat, liver-stomach disharmony, and gallbladder heat attaching stomach ( P<0.05 or P<0.01) . ( 3 ) The expression level of SP in the esophageal mucosa was the highest in the syndrome of hepatogastric stagnant heat, and was the lowest in the syndrome of phlegm-qi blocking middle energizer; expression level of VIP in the esophageal mucosa was the highest in the syndrome of middle energizer deficiency with reversed flow of qi, and was the lowest in the syndrome of hepatogastric stagnant heat ( P<0.05 or P<0.01) . Conclusion Traditional Chinese medical syndrome types of RE have correlation with endoscopic mucosal performance and immunohistochemical detection results for gastrointestinal hormones, which will be beneficial to the estimation of the development and severity of RE.
3.THE KARYOTYPE OF RATLIKE HAMSTER CRICETULUS TKITON (TSCHERSKIA TRITON)
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
The mitotic chromosomes of the ratlike hamster were studied under light microscope. The observations revealed that chromosome number of this species of genus cricetulus was 2n=28. The autosome pairs 1~11 were acrocentric and progressively decreasing in size, whereas the pairs 12 and 13 were four extremely small submetacentric chromosomes. The sex chromosome pairs were XY and XX for male and female animals respectively The X chromosome (Large subtelocentric) and Y chromosome (Submetacentric of medium size) were easily distinguishable from each other as well as from all autosomes. The poessible use of these outstanding chromosomal characteristics was briefly discussed.

World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(9):2034-2037
Professor Luo Lingjie is a national famous old doctor of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). He has a set of effective thoughts and methods on health maintenance. The core of the thought is Tiao-Xin, that is to say the emotion regulation is the key to health. The idea and method include three aspects, which include emotion regulation, diet regimen and exercise regimen. The emotion regulation is divided into clean ears, optimistic mood, learn to adapt, maintain psychological balance, and comply with nature. Diet regimen is fell into pay attention to the health food, regular diet, dietotherapy as primary and followed by drug, comply with the four seasons, reasonable to choose the food. There are four principles of exercise regimen, which are the choice of sports according to individual person with the aim to relax the body, move to raise the shape which should be combined with static to repose, proceed in an orderly way and persevere it step by step. The idea and method can also be used for daily personal health and clinical nursing for health maintenance. It is important that the physical and spiritual needs be consistent with long-term practice.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(05):-
Objective To search for the normal value and developmental regular rule of motor norve conduction in children. Methods One hundred and fourty-nine children aged from 0 to 14 years old were divided into 7 groups in accordance with age. There were 19 pecrsons aged from 20 to 35 years old in adult group. The motor nerve conduction function of median nerve, ulnar perve, tibial nerve and peroneal nerve of every suhject was determined by nerve evoked potential meter. Results The terminal latency of action potential of every nerve is decreased along with growing up of age before 6 years old and increased after 6 years old. The conduction velocity of ulnar nerve is the fastest, then the peroneal nerve and median nerve, that of tibial nerve is the slowest. Median nerve development quicken after 3 months of birth and approch ulnar nerve at the time of 3 years old. Tibial nerye get into fast development period from 3 months to 1 years old and catch up peroneal nerve. The conduction velocity of every nerve extend to adult level in th period of 3~6 years old. Conclusion The every parameler of nervous conduction has a great difference of age in the period of child, particularly in that of infancy. therefore, the normal values should be set up in accordance with proper age groups. This study shows that it's suitable to divide groups in accordance with new-born, 3 and 6 months, 1, 3 and 6 years old. Adult criterion should be used in the children dbove 6 years old.

Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture on the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR-2) mRNA and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) protein in brain tissue of rats with focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.Methods The focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion model was established with filament occlusion. 90 rats were randomly divided into control group (n=6), model group (n=42) and electroacupuncture group (n=42). They were observed 2 h, 12 h, 24 h, 3 d, 7 d, 14 d, 21 d after ischemia/reperfusion, 6 rats in each points. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to detect the expression of VEGFR-2 mRNA. Immunohistology method was used to detect the expression of BDNF protein. Results The expression of VEGFR-2 mRNA was higher in the electroacupuncture group than in the model group 12 h, 24 h, 3 d after reperfusion (P<0.05). The expression of BDNF protein in the hippocampus increased 2 h (P<0.05), reached peak 24 h (P<0.01) and still higher 3 d (P<0.05) in the electroacupuncture group than in the model group after reperfusion. Conclusion Electroacupuncture can upregulate the expression of VEGFR-2 mRNA and BDNF protein in brain tissue of rats with focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. Neuro-angiogenic factor is possibly the molecular basis of coordinated interaction of the nervous and vascular system.
