Objective To discuss endodontic surgery,such as the medical treatment effect of the fixation and reparation of tooth after root amputation and hemisection and prepare and provide medical basis for further application of the treatment. Methods Choosing fifty patients with hemisection or extirpating of root of tooth. After filling out the remaining root of tooth with silver and mercury, then make the operations of cutting tooth or extirpation of root of tooth in the condition of local anesthesia. For two to three months after the operation, on the basis of the remaining root of tooth sad next tooth with some body deformities, to make the operation of the united fixation and reparation. Then con-tinue to observe the treatment effect for two to three months. Results It has a good effective treatment on the united fixation and reparation of the remaining root of tooth united with next tooth with some body deformities after the opera-tions of root amputation and the hemisoction. The patients'chewing strength is strong and it is easy to clean and less to get local anesthesia which is often occurred after the operations. Conclusions Molars remained after hemisection of tooth or root amputation cannot be easily extirpated, so we may consider to made the operations of united fixation and reparation with next tooth. The fixed bridge has fixing and protection functions to the remaining mot of tooth and can improve chewing power.

Objective To explore the difference of ocular biological measurements between type 1 and type 2 diabetic patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy.Methods A total of 66 type 2 diabetic patients (67 eyes) with PDR (aged 37-77 years old),10 type 1 diabetic patients (19 eyes) with PDR (aged 18-57 years old) and 35 idiopathic macular hole patients (35 eyes,aged 21-74 years old) from September,2014 to July,2016 in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed,and the differences of axial length,corneal endothelial cell and age among three groups were compared.Results The average axial length of type 1 diabetic patients with PDR was (21.74 ± 0.68) mm,type 2 diabetic patients with PDR was (23.06 ± 0.65) mm,idiopathic macular hole patients was (23.39 ± 0.65) mm,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.001).There was no statistical difference in average corneal endothelial cells number among three groups (P =0.103),but there was statistical difference in the age (P ＜ 0.001).Conclusion The axial length in patients with type 2 and type 1 diabetic patients with PDR are less than the normal,while type 1 diabetic patient is shorter than type 2 diabetic patient,and the onset time of type 1 diabetic patients with PDR is earlier than that of type 2 diabetic patients with PDR.

Objective To study the clinical efficacy,safety and compliance of specific sublingual immunotherapy in allergic rhinitis children. Methods 80 cases of children with allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group with 30 patients in each.The experimental group received dermatophagoides farinae drops by sublingual medication and the control group received standardization allergen vaccine of dermatophagoides pteronyssinus by subcutaneous injection. The observing time lasted 12 months. Clinic symptoms score before and after treatment,safety and compliance between two groups were compared. Results The clinic symptoms score after treatment in both groups were significantly decreased. There was obvious difference between two groups in the incidence of adverse reactions and treatment compliance. Conclusions Sublingual immunotherapy by dermatophagoides farinae drops is effective and comparable to subcutaneous injection therapy by allergen vaccine. It may be a new choice for children with allergy disease.

In eukaryotic cells ,NF-κB transcription factor family regulates many processes like cell sur-vival,growth,and apoptosis.It participates in the development of a variety of diseases ,including inflammatory,im-mune disease ,and cancer .As an inflammatory factor , NF-κB mediates the transformation of chronic colitis to cancer during the course of colorectal cancer .Furthermore,it could inhibit cell apoptosis through regulating cell cycles,which promotes the development of colorectal cancer and mediates the multidrug resistance of the tumor cells.Therefore,targeting NF-κB,a large number of preparations involved both Chinese and western medicine has been researched .The further research and the use of them may be an effective method to cure the colorectal cancer in clinical work .

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effects of Distal-Jet appliance on the distalization of maxillary molar.Methods:12 Class Ⅱ malocclusion patients(at the average age of 12.3 years) with mesially moved maxillary molar were treated by Distal-Jet appliance. Cephalometic radiographs and dental models were taken and analyzed before and after molar distalization.Results:The treatment time was (4.3?2.8) months. After treatment following effects were achieved:①The maxillary molar was distalized by (3.6?0.75) mm per side with crown tilting distally by ( 3.5 ?3)?. ②The first premolar was moved mesially by (2.1?1.7) mm (tilting movement). Anterior overjet was increased by (1.47?1.76) mm. ③In the vertical dimension,the maxillary molar was extruded slightly by (0.39? 0.46 ) mm, the first premolar was extruded by (0.43?0.61) mm. ④The width between the central point of first maxillary molar was increased by ( 2.8 ?1.1) mm.Conclusions:The Distal-Jet appliance can distalize maxillary molars effectively. However,it may result in distaly tilting of molars and mesial movement of premolars.

Objective To investigate the effect of no-tonch harvesting technique in reducing vein graft intimal hyperplasin. A4othods This longitudinal trial compared graft ungiestenosis of two groups undergoing jugular vein to carotid artery interposition grafting in rabbit model. Conventional group: 12 rabbits had their veins stripped, distended, and stored in heparinized saline solution. No-touch group: 12 rabbits had veins removed with surrounding tissues, but were not distended, and stored in heparinized blood. The grafts were removed 4 weeks following grafting, and morphometry and immunohistochemistry assessment were performed. Results The intimal thickness, degree of anginstennsis and proliferation index of vascular smooth muscle cells of no-touch group were significantly reduced (P< 0.01) compared with those of the conventional group. The proliferating cell nuclear antigen pnsitive-staining cells were significantly increased (P<0.01) in the conventional group compared with whose in the no-touch group. Conclusion Harvesting the vein graft with no-touch harvesting technique could significantly reduce intimul hyperpinsin of the vein graft.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effects and adverse reaction of somatostatin combined with raw vegetable oil in treatment of intestinal obstruction From Tongchuan City People's Hospital were conducted through clinical medication.Methods From August 2012 to August 2015,A total of 364 cases of intestinal obstruction were randomly divided into observation group (182 cases) and control group (182 cases).Two groups were treated with the non-surgical treatment based on basic therapy,including gastrointestinal decompression,correctional of water,electrolyte disturbance and acid-base imbalance to prevent infection and toxication by sedative and spasmolytic.The non-surgical treatment was invalid or worse,the surgical treatment wasselected.Additionally,on the basis of non-surgical treatment,somatostatin combined with raw vegetable oil was additional treatment for the observation group.The comparison of thecurative effect,surgical treatment rate,gastrointestinal decompression,hospital stays and adverse reaction of two groups was conducted.Results The curative effect of observation group (80.22％)was superior to control group(68.68％).Compared to control group,the cases of adverse reaction in observation group was insignificantly increased (x2 =8.58,P ＜ 0.05).Conversely,the observation group showed lower surgical treatment rate (29.67％ vs 40.11％,x2 =4.37,P ＜ 0.05),lower gastrointestinal decompression [(224 ± 171) ml/d vs (543 ± 186) ml/d,t =-21.28,P ＜0.05)],and less hospital stays [(6.14 ± 2.04) d vs (10.26 ± 3.12) d,t =-4.78,P ＜ 0.05)].Conclusions The basic therapy and somatostatin combined with raw vegetable oil showed high efficiency,and cases of adverse reaction was insignificantly increased.It was worthy of promotion and application.

[ ABSTRACT] AIM: To investigate the role of anterior thalamic nucleus in trigeminal nerve electrostimulation ( TNS)-induced effects on seizures and hippocampal damage.METHODS: The rats were intraperitoneally injected with pilocarpine to induce chronic epilepsy, and then received sham treatment, TNS treatment and TNS treatment after stereotac-tic lesion to the anterior thalamic nucleus.The TNS treatment lasted for 1 month in each group.Another injection of pilo-carpine was conducted to induce seizures, and the severity and duration of seizures were quantitatively evaluated.TUNEL, Fluoro-Jade B ( FJB) and Nissl staining were applied to determine in situ apoptosis, neuronal degeneration and neuron loss in the hippocampal CA1 area respectively.RESULTS:Compared with TNS group, TNS treatment after stereotactic lesion to the anterior thalamic nucleus significantly increased the severity and duration of seizures (P<0.05), and the numbers of TUNEL positive cells, FJB positive cells and lost neurons in the hippocampal CA1 area (P<0.01).CONCLUSION:Anterior thalamic nucleus plays a role in TNS-induced reduction of seizures and hippocampal damage.The mechanisms might be due to the chronically activation of the cortex through anterior thalamic nucleus pathway induced by TNS, resulting in the down-regulation of neuronal excitatory susceptibility.

Objective To investigate the rehabilitation role of family-community-hospital rehabilitation management for communityschizophrenics. Methods 110 schizophrenic patients were divided into the control group (n=60) and the training group (n=50). The controlgroup were followed up once a month, while the training group participated in the family-community-hospital rehabilitation care. They wereassessed with Social Disability Screening Schedule (SDSS), General Well-Being Schedule (GWB), Self-Esteem Scale (SES) before and afterthe treatment, as well as the compliance and management of medcine questionnaire. Results No significant difference was found betweenthese groups with SDSS, happiness, self-esteem, compliance and management of medcine before the training(P>0.05), but were significantlyhigher in the training group(P<0.01). Conclusion Family-community-hospital rehabilitation management can significantly improvethe social function, the happiness, the self-esteem, the medication compliance and self-management of schizophrenia patients.
