By using traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system to analyze the dominant experience and recessive principles of the prescriptions for stranguria in the dictionary of traditional Chinese medicine prescription (DCMP), we aim to define the medication pattern and rule and to acquire new prescriptions. In dominant experience analysis, we were able to find 22 drugs used over 50 times, including drugs of clearing heat, diuresis and relieving stranguria which are the most used and drugs of clearing heat, cooling blood, benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin. In addition, drugs of activating Qi and Xue, eliminating phlegm and removing toxic are often used, including 34 herb pairs and 5 combinations of three-taste drugs are used more than 35 times. These results fully reflect the composition principles and compatibility characteristic of prescriptions for treating stranguria in DCMP. Thirteen new prescriptions by way of recessive principle excavating were acquired. These new prescriptions might be suitable to clinical treatments of variable syndromes. This article provides an useful clue to research and produce new drugs.

2.Prerequisites for the success of health reform
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(05):-
At present it is imperative to discuss not only the rightness or wrongness of specific health policies but moreover the problems in the mechanisms of health policy formulation.Specific policies are like products whereas mechanisms of formulation are like machines, which determine to some extent the quality of the products. To be successful, health reform must be based on scientific and rational decision-making;to achieve scientific and rational decision-making,it is necessary to be fully aware of the difficulty in ensuring the success of reform, discard the experience-based model of decision-making,and set up and observe procedures and regulations for complex decision-making.Those are the prerequisites for the success of health reform. The paper also discusses the procedures and regulations that must be observed in the decision-making process of health reform.

Objective To find out the differences of sleep posture between normal children and those with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS),and assess the effects of sleep posture on the children with OSAHS.Methods The results of polysomnography(PSG) of 385 children diagnosed as OSAHS by polysomnography were compared with that of 161 children who matched the former in age and gender(Controls). The effects of different sleep posture on obstructive apnea, hypopnea index(AHI) and apnea index(AI) were analyzed. Results For the children with OSAHS when sleeping, the percentages of sleep time in different posture were 45.4%+36.3% in supine posture,39.5%+34.5% in side posture and 15.1%+32.6% in prone posture, respectively;while in control group, the correspond percentages were 32.8%+24.5%,54.7%+23.9% and 12.5%+17.2%,respectively.Comparing the two groups, significant differences existed on the sleep time in both supine and side posture(P0.05).Children with OSAHS spent more time in supine posture and less time in side posture than those children in control group(P0.05).For the children with OSAHS,the average AHI and obstructive AI in three sleep-related postures were 14.5 and 3.80,respectively.The values of both AHI and AI in supine posture were significantly greater than that in side or prone posture(P

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(11):1010-1011
With the popularization of rehabilitation and the development of the physiotherapy, some chronic diseases do not only mean the history of the patients, but also the objects of physiotherapy. The exercises will affect the cardiopulmonary function of the patient, and result in a high risk of accident. This article would review the risk factors and risk management in physiotherapy for chronic diseases.

Objective To investigate the relationship between interleukin-17 (IL-17) and vitiligo. Methods Totally,32 vitiligo patients and 30 healthy human controls were enrolled in this study.Blood samples were collected from all the subjects, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was performed to determine the plasma levels of IL-17.The relationship of plasma IL-17 levels with disease stage, clinical course and lesion area was assessed. Results The plasma levels of IL-17 were significantly higher in the patients with progressive and stable vitiligo than in the healthy controls (both P < 0.05),and higher in the patients with progressive vitiligo than in those with stable vitiligo (P < 0.05).Moreover,the plasma levels of IL-17 were positively correlated with the area of vitiligo lesions (r =0.456,P < 0.05),but unrelated to the clinical course of vitiligo (r =0.239,P > 0.05).Conclusion IL-17 may play a certain role in the occurrence and development of vitiligo.

Physiotherapy involves wide range elements. Many factors, such as the complications of the patients, may complicate the treatment. It is important for the physiotherapists to control the potential risk factors as much as to improve their efficacy.

Objective To investigate the attention and awareness of risk management in physical therapists during their treatments. Methods The staffs visited China Rehabilitation Research Center for studying physical therapy from other hospitals were investigated with a questionnaire. Results and Conclusion 41 out of 52 questionnaires came back. The consciousnesses of risk management were variable with the profession they engaged before, that the physicians were the best.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of Tetramethylpyrazine and Buthus martensi on children with cerebral daminfication syndrome.Methods39 cases with cerebral daminfication syndrome were randomly divided into the study group (18 cases, treated with Tetramethylpyrazine and Buthus martensi) and control group (21 cases, treated only with general nerve nutrition therapy). The curative effect of two groups was evaluated.ResultsAfter treatment, in the study group, 11 cases were cured, 4 cases more effective, 1 case efficacy, 2 cases inefficacy; in the control group, the numbers were 6 cases, 9 cases, 3 cases and 3 cases respectively. There was a significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). There was not side effect in all cases.ConclusionTetramethylpyrazine and Buthus martensi is safe and effective to treat children with cerebral daminfication syndrome.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the protective effect of hypothermia combined with dexamethasone on spermatogenesis and the expression of intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM1) after testicular torsion-detorsion.
METHODSWe made unilateral testicular torsion models in 100 pubertal male Sprague-Dawley rats by 720 degree torsion of the left testis and then randomly divided them into four groups of equal number to be treated with normal temperature + physiological saline (group A), hypothermia + physiological saline (group B), normal temperature + dexamethasone (group C), and hypothermia + dexamethasone (group D). After 48 hours, we collected the testes, observed pathological changes of the testicular tissue by HE staining under the light microscope, detected the apoptosis of spermatogenic cells by TUNEL, and determined the expression of ICAM1 by Western blot.
RESULTSHE staining showed different degrees of testicular tissue injury in the four groups of rats, most obvious in group A, but mild in the other three. The ICAM1 protein expression was significantly higher in group A (0.68 +/-0. 03) than in B (0. 49 +/- 0. 06, P <0. 05) , C (0. 46 +/- 0. 09, P < 0.05) , and D (0.17 +/- 0.08, P <0.01). The nuclei were deep brown or brown. Lots of apoptotic spermatogenic cells were seen in the torsion testis of group A, with a significantly higher apoptosis index ( [33. 13 +/- 3.21 ]%) than in B ( [ 17. 12 +/-5.23 ]%, P < 0.05), C ([14.13 +/- 2.03]%, P <0.05), and D ([9.05 +/- 1.03]%, P <0.01).
CONCLUSIONHypothermia combined with dexamethasone can protect the testis from injury as well as the reproductive function of the testis after testicular torsion-detorsion and reduce the expression of ICAM1.
