There are many ways to prepare middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rat model. The focal cerebral ischemia model es-tablished by the suture-occluded method is widely accepted as an ideal focal cerebral ischemia model, which can be used in the basic and clinical study of cerebral vascular diseases. However, it still has the defects of high technical requirement, large model difference and high animal mortality. A variety of focal cerebral ischemia models were established by changing the retention time of the thread, the road the thread plugging into, the type of thread bolt and the depth of the thread plugging. This article compared different suture-occluded method, as well as the suture-occluded method to other modeling methods, different cerebral ischemia models may be different in the pathophysiology of cerebral infarction, and the effects may also be different.

6. Imaging evaluation of post-myocardial infarction injury
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2019;39(4):436-439
Imaging techniques play a vital role in evaluating myocardial damage in patients with myocardial infarction. Accurate evaluations of postinfarction function and scar can help identify high-risk patients and provide prognosis information, which contributes much to clinical practice. The assessment of myocardial damage mainly includes overall evaluations of ventricular function and remodeling and targeted characterization of myocardial infarction including infarct size, myocardial viability and microvascular obstruction. Echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance, CT and nuclear examinations are most common imaging techniques currently. This review is to update evidence on applications of these modalities in evaluation of postinfarction myocardial damage and offer some helps to health workers.

10. Role of SUMO-specific proteases in tumor biological behavior
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2018;38(3):348-352
SUMOylation is a dynamically reversible process that needs to be modified by a specific ligase, while its inverse reaction deSUMOylation is catalyzed by a group of SUMO-specific proteases (SENPs). SUMO-modified target protein molecules are closely related to development and disease, especially tumor, metabolism, inflammation and immunity. SENPs play an important role in SUMO protein maturation and deSUMOylation. This review discussed the functions of SENPs in the development and progression of tumors and related mechanisms.
