Objective:To explore the effect of multi-channel health education model by professional team on drug compliance, disease knowledge and recurrence in rate of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients, so as to provide basis for formulating scientific health education measures. Methods:From February 2016 to February 2019, IBD patients visited First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University were selected. According to whether they received health education, the patients were divided into intervention group (100 cases) and control group (138 cases). Morisky medication adherence scale-8 (MMAS-8) and Chinese version of Crohn′s and colitis knowledge score (CCKNOW) were used to evaluate treatment compliance and disease knowledge. The score of MMAS-8, the proportion of poor drug compliance, CCKNOW score and recurrence rate at 48 weeks of follow-up were compared between the intervention group and control group. Two sample t test and chi-square test were used for statistical analysis. Results:The total scores of MMAS-8 and CCKNOW of the intervention group were both higher than those of the control group (5.58±1.96 vs. 4.47±1.44, 10.87±4.21 vs. 9.23±4.65), and the differences were statistically significant ( t=-5.06 and -2.79, both P<0.05). The proportion of patients with poor drug compliance and recurrence rate at 48 weeks of follow up of the intervention group were both lower than those of the control group (56.0%, 56/100 vs. 86.2%, 119/138; 20.0%, 20/100 vs. 31.9%, 44/138), and the differences were statistically significant ( χ2=38.18 and 4.17, both P<0.05). Conclusions:Multi-channel health education by professional team can effectively improve the drug compliance and disease knowledge in IBD patients, improve patient self-management ability, and reduce the recurrence rate.

Objective: To study the relationship between interleukin(IL) 6, IL 8, tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF ?) and wound healing. Methods: In lower jaw gunshot wound, the expression of IL 6, IL 8, TNF ? in local soft tissues was assayed by using immunohistochemistry methods. The current levels of IL 6, IL 8, TNF ? in wound tissues was analysed by using image assay. Results: High expressions of these cytokines were observed in local soft tissues of wounds during the first 3 d after the gunshot. The cytokines expressions were different between the area near the bullet path and that far from the path. There was only one peak of the cytokines concentration in the area far from the bullet path, while there were 2 peaks of the cytokines concentration in the area near the bullet path. Conclusion: These results suggest that IL 6, IL 8, TNF ? play an important role in regulating inflammatory reactions of local injured tissues. They may improve the functions of fibroblasts, mononuclear phagocytes and endothelial cells and stimulate wound cells to produce and release other cytokines.

To examine the effect of Gankang Suppository on duck hepatitis B virus (DHBV), the serum biochemistry and hepatic histology in an animal model of DHBV infection, a model of DHBV infection was established by infecting 1-day-old Yingtaogu ducklings with DHBV-positive serum. The successful model was confirmed by PCR assay and 48 ducklings infected with DHBV were randomly divided into 3 groups: a Gankang Suppository treatment group, an acyclovir (ACV) group and a DHBV model group (control), with each group having 16 animals. All the animals were given the medicines for 4 weeks in a row. The serum of the animals was taken 14 and 28 days after the medication and 7 days after drug discontinuation. Real-time PCR was performed to detect the copy numbers of DHBV DNA in the serum. ALT and AST were dynamically monitored. The ducklings were sacrificed on the 7th day after the discontinuation of the treatment and livers were harvested and examined for inflammation and degeneration of liver cells by using HE staining. The results showed that on day 14, 28 after the treatment and day 7 after the withdrawal, the logarithmic values (log) of DHBV DNA copy numbers in ducklings of Gankang Suppository treatment group were significantly lower than that before the treatment (P=0.0092, P=0.0070, P=0.0080, respectively). Compared with DHBV model control group, the ALT level was significantly decreased (P=0.0020, P=0.0019, respectively) on day 28 after the treatment and on day 7 after the withdrawal. The AST level was also reduced on day 14 after the treatment (P=0.0298). Compared with the ACV control group, the level of ALT was lower on day 7 after the withdrawal (P=0.0016). Histologically, the hepatocyte swelling, vacuolous degeneration and acidophilic degeneration in Gankang Suppository treatment group were alleviated 7 days after the withdrawal as compared with model control group (P=0.0282, P=0.0084, P=0.0195, respectively). It is concluded that Gankang Suppository can effectively suppress DHBV replication, reduce the levels of serum ALT and AST and improve hepatic histology.

Objective To determine the main CT features and the key points of differential diagnosis of multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma (MCRCC) classified according to 2004 WHO pathological diagnostic criteria. Methods According to the criteria, 40 patients were divided into two groups: MCRCC group and other subtypes of cystic renal cell carcinoma (CRCC). The CT findings were evaluated and compared between two groups for cystic content, wall, septum, nodularity, calcification and enhancement. ROC curve was used to determine the cut-off value of the possible CT feature which could distinguish MCRCC from other subtypes of CRCC. Results Seventeen cases of MCRCC group and 23 cases of CRCC group were included in this study according to the diagnostic criteria. MCRCC appeared as a well defined multilocular cystic mass with thin wall and sepia and no expansile solid nodules. Thickness of cystic wall and/or septum is was main CT findings to distinguish MCRCC from other subtypes of CRCC (P < 0.01 ). The cut-off value of the thickness was 6 mm and its sensibility, specificity was 89% ,75% respectively. Conclusion Cystic wall and/or septum with a thickness of less than 6 mm are the main CT findings to dis tinguish MCRCC from other subtypes of CRCC.
