The arginine vasopressin (AVP) and oxytocin (OT) in thymic nurse cells (TNCs) of mice were stained by the method of immunogold and indfrect immunofluorescence, PAP immunocytochemical technique. TNCs of mice were shown immunocytochemical reactivity with antfserum of AVP and OT. The posttive areas were much denser near the cells membrane and around TNC-lymphocytes (TNC-Ls). It was implicated that TNCs might serve as neuroendocrine cells and might play a role in TNC-Ls differentiation via secreting AVP and OT.

Objective To systematically assess the relationship between oral administration of aspirin and survival benefit for patients with colorec?tal cancer(CRC)by meta?analysis. Methods Relevant studies were identified through searching PubMed and EMBASE. Random?effects model was derived to composite the pooled hazard ratio for overall mortality and CRC?specific mortality. The subgroup analysis was conducted for included data,and the bias analysis was reported. Results Thirteen studies on aspirin therapy were finally included in this meta?analysis. The overall surviv?al benefit associated with oral administration of aspirin represented an HR of 0.83(95%CI:0.71?0.96). Oral administration of aspirin was also asso?ciated with CRC?specific survival(HR=0.77,95%CI:0.64?0.93). No evidence was observed of an association between prediagnostic aspirin use and CRC overall survival(HR=1.00,95%CI:0.85?1.18)or CRC?specific survival(HR=0.97,95%CI:0.83?1.13). Conclusion These findings provide further indication that post?diagnostic aspirin therapy can improve CRC prognosis.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the changes of serum total bilirubin(TBil) and hybrid muscle crea-tine kinase isozyme(CK-MB),and its clinical implication in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Methods The levels of TBil and CK - MB were measured in 49 neonates with HIE (15 mild cases, 20 moderate cases and 14 serious cases), and 31 normal neonates on the first day and the fourth day after birth. Objective: To investigate the expression of vasculogenic mimicry (VM) in endometrial carcinoma tissues and its rela-tionship with the clinicopathologic features and prognosis of the disease. Methods: A total of 267 paraffin-embedded endometrial carci-noma specimens of patients with complete follow-up data were collected from the Shijiazhuang Bethune International Peace Hospital between January 2005 and June 2014. CD31-PAS dual staining was performed to identify the VM structure. Tissue samples were then divided into VM-positive and VM-negative groups. CD133 expression was detected by immunohistochemical streptavidin peroxidase method. Results: Among the 267 endometrial carcinoma patients, 65 cases (24.3%) were VM positive. VM formation was closely corre-lated with the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Staging (χ2=9.987, P=0.002), histodifferentiation grade (χ2=11.795, P=0.001), myometrial invasion depth (χ2=5.499, P=0.019), vascular cancer embolus (χ2=22.599, P<0.001), and lymph node me-tastasis (χ2=7.848, P=0.005). Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed that survival time was significantly shorter in the VM-posi-tive group (median survival time was 51 months) than in the VM-negative group (median survival time was 100 months) (χ2=70.973, P<0.001). Moreover, CD133 expression was significantly higher in the VM-positive group [75.4% (49/65)] than in the VM-negative group [58.9% (119/202)] (χ2=5.720, P=0.017). Conclusion: VM is closely correlated with the pathogenesis, development, and malignancy of endometrial carcinoma. Furthermore, VM is one of the important indexes influencing the prognosis of this disease. Therefore, CD133-positive cells may contribute to VM formation.

Objective To discuss the clinical significance of internal fixation through anterolaterel and posteromedial approaches in the treatment of closed sagittal Pilon fractures of Topliss classification and compare the effects of the two approaches.Methods The study involved 57 patients with closed sagittal Pilon fractures treated with open reduction and internal fixation from 2007 to 2010,including 29 patients treated through anterolateral approach (Group A) and 28 through posteromedial approach (Group B).All patients were with closed fractures,and all surgery time windows were 10-19 days.The two groups were compared in aspects of gender,age,type of fractures,soft tissue graduation,injury factors,condition of combined fibula fracture,surgery time window,operation time,intra-operative blood loss,ambulation time,infection and necrosis rate of skin and soft tissue,length of stay,ankle joint function recovery after internal fixation,and intra-operative X-ray reduction.Results All patients were followed up for 12-26 months (mean,20 months) except for one patient in the Group A,with total follow-up rate of 98％.The two groups showed no significant differences regarding the gender,age,type of fractures,soft tissue graduation,injury factors,condition of combined fibula fracture,surgery time window selection,operation time,intra-operative blood loss,and ambulation time (P ＞0.05).While,the infection and necrosis incidence of skin and soft tissue,and the hospital stay we re significantly lower and shorter in the Group A than that in the Group B (P ＜ 0.05 ).Two patients in the Group A were complicated with toe extensor tendon adhesion,which was released by removing the fixation.Fifteen patients had wound infection during hospitalization,including three patients in the Group A and 12 in the Group B,but they were all cured after treatments like dressing.Fifteen patients were treated with stage Ⅰ allogeneic bone graft and 11 with autologous iliac bone graft.All the patients obtained bone union.Conclusions Topliss classification of closed sagittal Pilon fractures has clear clinical significance in surgical plan selection and operative procedures.Both of the anterolateral and posteromedial approaches can achieve good effects in the treatment of closed sagittal Pilon fractures due to high energy injury.However,the anterolateral approach is relatively a better choice,for it brings in a lower incidence of infection and necrosis of skin and soft tissue and a shorter length of hospital stay.

The paper designs and implements a digitalized information resources platform for Mongolian medicine based on ASP.NET.The system adopts VS2008 + SQL SERVER2005 and the 3-tier architectural pattern,integrates functional modules such as News Information,Mongolian Medicine,Mongolian Doctors and Q&A,realizes the digitalization of Mongolian medicine resources and establishes a sharing system.Upon testing,the system operates well and achieves the expectations.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Qinggan Huoxue Recipe (QGHXR), a compound Chinese herbal medicine, and its decomposed formulas Qinggan Recipe (QGR) and Huoxue Recipe (HXR) on expressions of CD14, Toll like receptor 4 (TLR(4)) and nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-kappaB) in Kupffer cells. METHODS: The isolated primary rat Kupffer cells were treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) for a certain period of time, a series of concentrations of drug-containing serums of QGHXR and its decomposed formulas were added, the expressions of NF-kappaB, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), CD14, and TLR(4) of the Kupffer cells were detected in different culture conditions by using Western blot, real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and ELISA methods respectively. RESULTS: QGR could down-regulate the expression of membrane receptor CD14, but the expression of NF-kappaB and TNF-alpha were not significantly decreased after QGR treatment. HXR could down-regulate the expression of membrane receptor TLR4 and inhibit the expressions of NF-kappaB and TNF-alpha. QGHXR could down regulate the expressions of membrane receptors CD14 and TLR(4) and inhibit the expressions of NF-kappaB and TNF-alpha. CONCLUSION: QGHXR can protect liver cells by down regulating the expressions of CD14, TLR(4) and NF-kappaB and inhibiting TNF-alpha expression.

Objective:To explore the clinical value of chest multi-slice computed tomography angiography (MSCTA) as a preoper-ative examination for lung cancer patients undergoing pulmonary lobectomy. Methods: Sixty lung cancer patients formed the study population and were randomly divided into 2 groups of 30 cases each. In the experimental group, CTA images of the tumors and pulmo-nary artery, bronchial artery, pulmonary vein were acquired, analyzed, and post-processed using VR to determine the anatomical rela-tionship between vessels and tumors. Pulmonary lobectomy followed. Cases in the control group underwent pulmonary lobectomy with-out guidance by chest MSCTA. Operation times and amounts of operative blood loss were compared between the two groups. Results:Significant differences between groups in terms of operation time (study group vs. control group, 199±55.7 vs. 231.5±51.2(min);P=0.02) and amount of operative blood loss (study group vs. control group, 318.33±99.6 vs. 431.7±89.5(mL), P<0.01) were observed. Val-ues of operation time and amount of contrast agents in the study group were consistently lower than those in the control group. Conclu-sion:Chest MSCTA can shorten the operation time and reduce the amount of operative blood loss during pulmonary lobectomy. Thus, the technique has significant clinical value.

A secretive expression vector of Pichia pastoris system which can be used for the direct cloning of PCR products was constructed,and was verified through the expression of recombinant cellobiohydrolase II in Pichia pastoris.A randomly selected fragment was amplified with properly designed primers by PCR.The XhoI and Eam1105Ⅰ restriction sites were included in the 5'end of the fragment,and the Eam1105Ⅰ and XbaI restriction sites were included in its 3'end.The PCR amplified product was inserted into the P.pastoris expression plasmid pPICZ?A through XhoI and XbaI restriction sites and the resultant plasmid was digested with Eam1105Ⅰ,and lastly the big fragment was recovered,generating the P.pastoris expressive Tvector pPICZ?T.Then the cellobiohydrolase II of T.reesei was successfully expressed in P.pastoris with this expressive Tvector.Such results indicated that the constructed expression Tvector was convenient for PCR product cloning,and was effective for heterologous protein expression in P.pastoris.On the other hand,the application of the expression Tvector avoided the introduction of additional amino acids at the Nterminus of the expressed protein,which generally occurred when normal expression vectors were used in secretive expression system.
