Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(25):-
Injectable bone substitutes can repair bone defect via percutaneous injection, including organic bone graft materials and inorganic bone graft materials. Furthermore, some materials considered as vector can composite with cells to generate tissue engineering materials, which are injected into bone graft to improve fusion rate. The development of injectable bone substitutes provides a new way to treat some relative diseases. Here, the article was divided three parts to introduce biological characteristics and clinical application of organic bone substitute materials, inorganic bone substitute materials, and bone tissue engineering vector materials. Although bone tissue engineering research achieves some effects initially, there are still a lot of problems, such as collection and preparation of extracellular matrix materials, composite and transplantation of cell and vector; all of them need to be further studied.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(06):-
ObjectiveTo find out about changes in expenses and the orientation of the insured to medical services and analyze the causes of expense growth and the result of containment so as to offer suggestions for policy formulation. MethodsA statistical analysis was made of the actual data on the medical insurance of retired and working personnel in Nantong City from 2000 through 2002 using SPSS and Excel. Results①The mode of payment via "plate" management and total quantity and mean value control resulted in fairly good expense containment, especially outpatient expense containment while the growth of hospitalization expenses was on the rise. ②Third-tier hospitals were most popular to people seeking hospitalized services while for outpatient services people were increasingly turning to clinics and designated drugstores where the average expenses per visit were low. Conclusion①The managing party of medical insurance should step up research on expense containment strategies, steer the patients towards rational splitflow, try to contain expenses in a scientific way, and improve the efficiency of fund utilization. ②Medical institutions confronted with opportunities and crises should enhance quality construction and deliver standard and reliable services. ③It is imperative to strengthen regional health planning and raise the efficiency of health resources utilization.

Objective To compare the cognitive difference of subjects'responses to the same visual stimuli under two different priming conditions, and to discuss the influence of inversion effect and configural changes upon facial recognition. Methods Priming pattern was employed, and subjects were induced to recognize the same stimuli as schematic faces or three English letters under different priming conditions. The participants'accuracy and reaction times were compared in two priming conditions. Results Participants'accuracy of the comparison stimuli in facial priming condition decreased significantly by inversion effect((79.03±10.53)%vs(89.43±9.98)%,P<0.01);reaction times of priming stimuli and comparison stimuli were delayed by inversion effect significantly((3720.40±607.71)ms vs(2998.33±544.02)ms,(3521.80±1038.20)ms vs(2750.87±867.13)ms,P<0.01),and there was no influence of inversion effect upon the reaction times of English letter stimuli(P>0.05).Correlations of accuracy to reaction times reached no significant difference under two conditions. Conclusion Priming effect make sense in the cognition, and there was a priming stage before the facial configuration.Inversion effect shows up in the face priming condition, and vanish in the English letter priming condition, which demonstrate the importance of configuration and inversion effect in the facial cognition. What's more, such effect can't be explained by the changes of cognitive difficulty.

Chinese Critical Care Medicine 2017;29(5):403-406,412
Objective To investigate the effect of chest physiotherapy (CPT) on patients undergoing mechanical ventilation (MV).Methods A prospective randomized controlled trial (RCT) was conducted. Sixty-eight adult patients undergoing invasive MV over 48 hours admitted to intensive care unit (ICU) of Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical College from December 2014 to October 2016 were enrolled, and they were divided into CPT group (n = 37) and control group (n = 31) by random number table. The patients in control group received routine physical therapy; while those in the CPT group received comprehensive CPT including manual lung inflation, vibration expectoration and early functional exercise etc. on the basis of the treatment in control group. Acute physiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅱ (APACHE Ⅱ) score and oxygenation index (PaO2/FiO2) before and after the treatment in both two groups were observed as well as the respiratory function and vital signs before and after CPT. The laboratory indicators after treatment, incidence of complications, duration of MV and the length of ICU stay in the two groups were recorded. Results The incidence of ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) in the CPT group was significantly lower than that of control group (5.4% vs. 25.8%,P < 0.05), the patients in control group also had atelectasis, deep vein thrombosis and other complications, while no such complications were found in the CPT group. The duration of MV (hours: 77.4±41.0 vs. 133.9±117.2) and the length of ICU stay (hours: 134.4±71.4 vs. 207.4±177.7) in CPT group were significantly shorter than those of the control group (bothP < 0.05). There was no significant difference in APACHE Ⅱ score and PaO2/FiO2 before treatment between the two groups. After treatment for 2 days, the APACHE Ⅱ score in both groups was gradually decreased, and that in CPT group was more significantly, it was significantly lower than that of control group after treatment for 4 days (8.6±3.9 vs. 12.5±5.3,P < 0.05). The PaO2/FiO2 in the two groups was gradually increased after treatment. PaO2/FiO2 in CPT group was significantly increased at 3 days after treatment as compared with that before treatment [mmHg (1 mmHg = 0.133 kPa): 278.1±79.0 vs. 224.2±98.9], while PaO2/FiO2 in the control group did not appear significantly increased until after 4-day treatment (mmHg: 302.3±93.1 vs. 232.3±116.7, both P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in vital signs andrespiratory function parameters including tidal volume (VT), respiratory rate (RR), peak airway pressure (Ppeak) and mean airway pressure (Pmean) before and after treatment in CPT group excepting pulse oxygen saturation (SpO2) was significantly higher than that before treatment (0.985±0.016 vs. 0.978±0.018,P < 0.05), indicating that CPT treatment did not cause fluctuations in respiratory function and vital signs. Blood lactate in CPT group was significantly lower than that of control group (mmol/L: 1.10±0.79 vs. 1.32±1.09, P < 0.05), indicating that CPT treatment, especially early functional exercise, could improve the oxygen supply and limb circulation. Conclusion CPT treatment has some effect on prevention of VAP and other complications in patients undergoing MV, which could shorten the duration of MV and the length of ICU stay, and promote the recovery of patients.

Objective To investigate the effect of probucol on Sertoli cell injury induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation(OGD/R)and mechanism. Methods Primary Sertoli cells treated with oxygen glucose deprivation for 2 h and reoxygenation for 3 h were modeled. We incubated Sertoli cells with probucol in a concentration of 5,10,and 20 μmol/L from reoxygenation to the end. The cell viability was evaluated using Cell Proliferation Assay kit. ROS production was observed by flow cytometry. The levels of MDA ,iron and GSH or the activity of glutathione-dependent peroxidase were measured by Assay Kit. Results The ferroptosis inhibitors pre-vented cell death(P < 0.01). The cell death rate was decreased by probucol in time- and dose-dependent manner (P < 0.01). Meanwhile, probucol caused increase of ROS,MDA,GSH content and GPXs activity(P < 0.05). Conclusion Probucol protects Sertoli cells from OGD/R damage via inhibiting lipid peroxidation-mediated ferroptosis.
