1.Research on public hospital financial governance based on the public governance theory
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2013;29(12):930-933
This article introduced the public governance theory into the study of financial governance of public hospitals and analyzed the internal logical relations between public governance theory and financial governance study under the framework of public hospital management. These include the present background of financial governance of public hospital and its demand for public governance, public governance theory's applicability and its inspiration in the field of financial governance of public hospitals. The inspirations of public governance theory are as follows:repositioning of government governance responsibility and diversification of governance subjects, synergy of governance structure and shared competency of governance power,as well as the accountability of governance behavior and performance evaluation of governance.
2.Theoretical discussions on financial governance performance evaluation of public hospitals in China
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2013;(5):369-372
This article discussed basic theoretical issues involved in evaluating the financial governance performance of China's public hospitals.Discussions in it cover such aspects as choice of perspective for evaluating their financial governance performance, scope of financial governance performance evaluation, subjects of finance governance of public hospitals and their responsibilities and objectives,as well as construction of basic dimensions of their financial governance performance evaluation.
3.Definition of index weight for the performance evaluation system of public hospital financial governance
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2016;9(1):40-44
The index weight has very significant role in the performance evaluation system for the public hospitals’ financial governance. This paper employed the analytic hierarchy process associated with the Delphi method to determine the index weight based on the previous studies. The index of maximum weight is non-profit (0. 35), fol-lowed closely by financial responsibility(0. 18), asset performance(0. 18), financial performance and risk (0. 18), and the index of minimum weight is society satisfaction ( 0 . 06 ) . The index weight guidance and the practical index system application were also interpreted in order to really play the significant role during the performance evaluation for the public hospitals’ financial governance.
4.Designing of the evaluation index system for performance appraisal of public hospital financial governance
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2014;30(1):27-30
This paper construct an evaluation index system for performance appraisal of public hospitals financial governance, using the meta-analysis,expert panel discussion and Delphi method. With two rounds of expert consultation and panel discussion, such an evaluation index system was completed, comprising 6 primary dimensions,15 secondary dimensions and 48 evaluation indexes.

Objective To understand the current economical operation of public hospitals in Hubei province and its effect on their public welfare performance. Methods To collect data in field survey and to analyze the current economic situation of such hospitals in the province based on relevant statistics. Results Financial revenue and expenditure of these hospitals keep rising and achieving a balance in general; for the insufficient government financial subsidy, 90% of the revenue of such hospitals come from their medical services and drugs sold; the per capita revenue of these public hospitals maintains a yearly rising trend; their asset-liability ratio was relatively high. Conclusions The public welfare performance of these hospitals tends to be impeded by the reform on the macro economic system and health policy changes, on top of the attraction of economic interests. Improving the government subsidy mechanism for public hospitals and standardizing the financial management mechanism of public hospitals.

The paper presented the theoretic basis for the comprehensive hospital evaluation system, and initiated the indicator system for hospital comprehensive evaluation results with both Delphi method and the balance scorecard. Two rounds of experts consultation have decided to evaluate hospital comprehensive strengths from such aspects as hospital resources deployment, business process, financial standing, customers, customers, public welfare and development potential of the hospital. Under these grade-1 indicators are 13 grade-2 ones and 83 grade-3 ones. The importance, operability and sensitivity of these indicators are accepted by experts unanimously.

Objective To evaluate the appilcation value of intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (IOTEE) in aortic valve replacement with bovine pericardium. Methods Totally 106 patients were ready to underwent the surgery of aortic valve replacement. The parameters of the aortic valves (diameter of aortic annular, aortic sinus and aortic sinus tube, effective height [eH]) were measured before cardiopulmonary by using IOTEE and during intraoperation. Results Eight cases were removed from the study due to supplemental preoperative diagnosis and modification of operative method, the rest of the 98 cases were enrolled. The coincidence rate of initial diagnosis hy using IOTEE and intraoperative diagnosis was 100 %;5 cases (5/98,5.10 %) of secondary diagnosis were inconsistent with intraoperative diagnosis. The coincidence rate of the number of aortic valves with preoperative IOTEE diagnosis and intraoperative diagnosis was 100 %,the aortic valves perforation fistulas was 80.00%,the aortic valves vegetation was 85.71%,the senile calcified valvular disease was 100%,and the rheumatic disease was 100%.Diameter of aortic annular, aortic sinus and aortic sinus tube,eH measured by preoperative IOTEE had good correlation with intraoperative measurement (all r>0.8,all P<0.05).Conclusion IOTEE has feasibility and guiding value in aortic valve replacement with bovine pericardium, and is also of great significance to evaluate the prognosis of surgery.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the role of autophagy inhibitor chloroquine (CQ) in the proliferation of pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) in hypoxia conditions.
METHODSThe following groups in this study were set up: control group, hypoxia group, 50 micromol/L CQ + hypoxia group, 50 micromol/L CQ group. The viability of PASMCs in every group was detected by MTT assay. Autophagic vacuoles in the cells were observed by MDC staining. Protein expression of microtubule associated protein light chain 3 (LC3) was measured by Western blot. Migration of PASMCs was detected by wound healing assay.
RESULTSCompared with control group, no effect on the viability of PASMCs was observed treated by CQ alone. In 1% hypoxia group, cell viability increased significantly compared with that in control group. The number of autophagic vacuoles and the rate of cell migration and also protein expression of LC3-II were also markedly increased. Compared with hypoxia group, addition of CQ increased the number of autophagic vacuoles and the levels of LC3-II protein, but decreased the proliferation and migration of PASMCs.
CONCLUSIONHypoxia could activates autophagy and contributes to proliferation and migration of PASMCs, and autophagy inhibitor CQ could decrease the effect of hypoxia on PASMCs through inhibiting autophagy process.

OBJECTIVETo probe the cause for triggering HBV reactivation and possible management of the chronic hepatitis B individuals received imatinib.
METHODSThis study presented two cases of transient hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation and hepatic dysfunction during oral imatinib for chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and made a literatures review about the pathogenesis, possible prophylactic and therapeutic management of such chronic hepatitis B individuals receiving imatinib.
RESULTSTwo CML patients, without prior liver dysfunction but with chronic HBV infection, suffered from transient HBV reactivation occurred during oral imatinib. Both of them finally obtained good outcome following the additional oral nucleotide antiviral therapy.
CONCLUSIONIt remained unclear whether imatinib induced the reactivation of HBV in patients with a latent HBV infection. From our study, all candidates receiving oral imatinib should be screened for HBsAg and anti-HBc antibodies prior to initiation of imatinib. Prophylactic antiviral therapy should be offered to HBV-infected individuals along with a close monitoring for signs of reactivation.
