1.Effect of Fructus Psoraleae on Elimination of Antipyrine
Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 2000;0(05):-
Objective: To study the effect of Fructus Psoraleae on antipyrine elimination in rats. Methods:After the medication of Fructus Psoraleae decoction once daily for 6 days in a dose of 5. 3 g/kg, antipyrine was fed to rats in a dose of 400mg/kg. Concentration of antipyrine in various time was measured by HPLC, and the pharmacokinetics parameters of antipyrine elimination was caculated. Results: The elimination rate constant (Kel) of antipyrine in rats fed with Fructus Psoraleae decoction was 1.55 times more than that in the control group, and the elimination half - life (t1/2) was shortened by 60. 7 % . Conclusion: Fructus Psoraleae decoction accelerate the elimination of antipyrine in rats by inducing the activities of hepatic oxygenases.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(08):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate rate, cause, psychology and prevention of needle-stick injuries among nursing staff.METHODS A retrospective questionnaire was distributed to a convenience sample of 426 clinical nurses in a hospital.RESULTS Totally 379 nurses(88.97%) suffered from needle-stick injuries with an average of 4.75 times per person annually. The nurses with needle-stick more than 10 times accounted for 6.10%.The main reasons of needle-stick included pulling needles, adding medication, separating needle and so on.CONCLUSIONS Nurse should consolidate them self-protective consciousness. Therefore,it is a very important task of occupational prevention to improve the education of concept of universal precautions, prevent needle stab and reduce the occurrence of blood born diseases.

This study is to investigate the effects of paeoniflorin on cerebral blood flow and the balance of PGI2/TXA2 of rats with focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. A total of 72 SD rats (3) were randomly divided into 6 groups: sham operation group, cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model group (I/R gourp), low (10 mg.kg-1), middle (20 mg.kg-1) and high (40 mg.kg-1) doses of paeoniflorin groups and nimrnodipine group. Focal cerebral ischemia in rats was made by inserting a monofilament suture into internal carotid artery for 90 min and then reperfused for 24 h. The effects of paeoniflorin on neurological deficit scores and the infarction volume of brain were detected. Relative regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) was continuously monitored over ischemic hemispheres by laser-Doppler flowmetry (LDF). The expression of COX-2 in hippocampal CAl region was estimated by immunohistochemistry and the contents of prostacyclin I2 (PGI2), thromboxane A2 (TXA2), and ratio of PGIJ2/TXA2 in serum were measured by ELISA kits. Paeoniflorin significantly ameliorated neurological scores, reduced the infarction volume, and increased regional cerebral blood flow relative to the I/R group. In addition, paeoniflorin could inhibit COX-2 expression and the release of TXA2 and prevent the downregulation of PGI2 induced by I/R injury. The neuroprotective effects of paeoniflorin against focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion rats might be attributed to improve the supply of injured hemisphere blood flow and adjust the balance between PGI2/TXA2.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the in vitro effect of wild-type PTEN gene transfection on the growth of human colon cancer cell lines. Methods With liposome transduction technique, the retrovirus vector pBp-PTEN,which contains wild-type PTEN gene segment and pBabe-puro,was transfected into Lovo, one of the PTEN-deficient human colorectal carcinoma cell lines. After identification by Western blotting, cell growth, cell cycle and apoptosis before and after transfection were studied. Results It was indicated by the cell growth curve that after transfection the curve of the transfection group exhibited a mild tendency with no obvious logarithmic growth phase, and the growth velocity was significantly lower than that of the control group(P

Objective To adopt Orem self-care model to assestt the dependency care ability of care-givers for surgery orphans and analyze its defective level of dependency case, then propose corresponding nursing policy. Methods 16 caregivers for surgery orphans were surveyed with self-made questionnaire which included the general condition of the caregivers, the nursing situation for orphans and the require-ment for dependency care ability of the caregivers. Results All questionnaires were withdrew. The pro-portion of providing correct primary care for orphans was up to 62.50%~93.75%.But the proportion of pro-viding correct rehabilitation exercises was lower than 43.75%.96% caregivers wished to obtain the relative nursing knowledge by training and improve their dependency care ability.Conclmions The caregivers' dependency care ability can meet the needs of orphans' basic dependency care. But the defect still exists, the nurses should adopt different nursing compensation for different orphans and different care defects.

Objective To investigate the level of plasma GDF-15 in patients with COPD and its clinical value in the diagnosis of COPD in the stable stage and in acute exacerbation stage. Methods From 2015 to 2016, 58 cases of patients with COPD were enrolled ,including COPD patients in the stable stage and in acute exacerba-tion stage. 29 cases of COPD patients diagnosed in our hospital were enrolled in the experimental group ,and 29 cases of age-,gender and body mass index-matched healthy people were enrolled in the control group. Compared and analyzed the blood cell count ,determination of plasma GDF-15 and C-reactive protein were performed and ana-lyzed. Spearman correlation analysis was conducted to compare levels of GDF-15 and C-reactive protein between pa-tients with the stable stage of COPD and those with acute exacerbation stage of COPD. The diagnostic efficacy was compared between GDF-15 and C-reactive protein in differentiatingthe COPD in acute exacerbation period and in the stable period. Results Level of GDF-15 in the stable COPD patients was significantly increased compared with that in the control group. The plasma GDF-15 level was significantly increased in acute exacerbation COPD patients compared to patient with the stable COPD(P<0.001). For the stable COPD patients,GDF-15 level and C-reactive protein level was positively correlated(r = 0.776,P < 0.001). In acute exacerbation COPD patients, GDF-15 level and C-reactive protein level was positively correlated (r = 0.877,P < 0.001). The ROC curves showed that the GDF-15 level on the diagnosis of acute exacerbation COPD patients with an AUC was 0.783(95%CI,0.666~0.900,P<0.001)and with the diagnostic accuracy was 69%. C-reactive protein in the acute exacer-bation of AUC diagnosis of COPD was 0.686(95%CI:0.549~0.823,P<0.01)and the diagnostic accuracy rate was 59%. Conclusion The plasma level of GDF-15 was significantly increased in COPD patients compared with people in the healthy control group. Plasma GDF-15 and C- reactive protein were highly correlated in the stable stage of COPD patients and in acute exacerbation stage of COPD patients. The diagnostic accuracy of GDF in patients with the stable stage of COPD and with acute exacerbation stage of COPD was higher than C-reactive pro tein.

Teaching and research are two major functions of university. We should correct the misunderstanding of the relationship between teaching and research and improve the evaluation of integration of them. Positive interaction of research and teaching can enhance educational results of university. We should conduct the interaction of scientific research and teaching, improving the creative ability of students.
