Nurses play an important role in promoting asthma control. In order to improve the quality of nursing practice for adult asthma controlling, Registered Nurse' s Association of Ontario (RNAO) integrated the latest evidence and published the best practice guideline of Adult Asthma Care: Promoting Control of Asthma (Second Edition) in 2017. This article mainly introduces the development, application scope, main content, quality evaluation and subsidiary information of the guide.

Objective:To estimate the prevalence of antiretroviral drug resistance in treatment-naive in-dividuals with human immunodeficiency virus ( HIV ) in China. Methods: Five electronic databases [ Chinese BioMedical Literature Database ( CBM) , Chinese Journal Full-text Database ( CNKI) , Chinese Science-Technology Journal Database ( VIP) , Wanfang Data, and PubMed] were searched for studies of HIV drug resistance in untreated individuals. Drug resistance data were abstracted then pooled using the random effect model. Subgroup analysis was done across sampling time, location, study population ( mean age and infection status) , and sample size. Results: Seventy-six studies were included for our meta-analysis (46 in Chinese, 30 in English). The pooled rates of drug resistance to total, to non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor ( NNRTI ) , to nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI), and to protease inhibitor ( PI) were 4. 7% (95%CI:4. 0% -5. 4%), 2. 3% (95%CI:1. 8% -2. 8%), 1. 8% (95%CI:1. 3% -2. 3%), and 1. 4% (95%CI:1. 1% -1. 8%), respective-ly. All the rates before 2007 were higher than those for 2008 or later. Meanwhile, significant differences were found in the sample areas (P <0. 05), in which, the rates in South-central and Southwest were both higher than 5%. The difference was complex between mean age and infection status subgroup, and we found the total prevalence in the group under 25 years and the newly infected, and confirmed group was lower than in the others. For sample size, all the rates in the group under 100 samples were higher than in the others, and the difference was significant (P<0. 05). Conclusion: The prevalence of HIV primary drug resistance in China was 4. 7%, which stayed low, but was also close to the line set by WHO. Enhanced surveillance for drug resistance is necessary in high epidemic areas including the South-central and Southwest China whose prevalence has crossed the line.

Objective:To analyze the results of syphilis specific serological tests among entry personnel in Beijing port during year 201 2 -201 4 in order to provide evidence for the prevention and control of syphilis.Methods:Demographics data and syphilis specific test results of entry personnel were obtained from the information system of Beijing International Travel Healthcare Center and input into Excel 201 6. Database for entry personnel was built up accordingly and was analyzed by IBMSPSS22.0.Results:The number of entry personnel in Beijing port during year 201 2 -201 4 was 1 06 302 person-time.According to the evaluation criteria,71 308 persons were recruited and analyzed,of whom 277 were tested serologi-cally positive and the total prevalence was 0.39% (95% CI:0.34% -0.43%).The prevalence was highest in the persons aged 40 -49 years (0.81 %)and was higher in males (0.50%)than in females (0.23%).The persons from Africa held higher prevalence (1 .27%)than from other five regions.As multivariate logical regression analysis indicated that the risk of syphilis infection was 1 0.38 times more in the persons aged 40 -49 years than in the persons <20 years (95%CI:5.59 -1 9.28),and 1 .85 times more in males than in females (95%CI:1 .40 -2.44).For the people from Africa,South America and Asia,the infection risks were respectively 4.89 times (95%CI:2.97 -8.06),4.82 times (95%CI:2.39 -9.74)and 1 .72 times (95%CI:1 .1 5 -2.59)more than that for the people from North Ameri-ca.Rising trend of the prevalence was observed in both genders by age groups (P value for trend χ2 <0.05).Except for Asia,the prevalences of the people from other five regions were rising slightly by years,however there were no obvious trends (P value for trend χ2 >0.05).Twenty-seven seropositive cases were found within 6 246 entry persons who were tested repeatedly during the research period,9 of which were seroconversion cases so that the cumulative conversion rate was 0.1 4% (9 /6 228).The average conversion time was (6.3 ±3.0)months.There was no statistical significance between the cu-mulative seroconversion rates of the persons with different genders and nationalities (P of Fisher’s exact test >0.05).Conclusion:Serological detection of syphilis for entry personnel in Beijing port and syphi-lis-related health education should be reinforced to reduce the risk of disease importing and spreading, protect susceptible subjects and promote health.

AIMTo investigate whether DADS induce MGC803 cell apop tosis and cell cycle arrest. METHODSMGC803 cell growth inhibitio n was measured by MTT assay. Flow cytometry and acridine orange fluorescent stai ning method were used to determine the induction of apoptosis and the change of cell cycle. RESULTSMTT assay showed that adding 20,30,40 mg?L -1 DADS for 72 h suppressed MGC803 growth by 25 7%,58 6%,69 0% respective ly. Partial cells presented the characteristic morphological changes of apoptosi s under the fluorescent microscope. The apoptosis rate ncreased in time-depende nt manner. Flow cytometry analysis revealed that treating MGC803 cell with DADS significantly increased in the percentage of cells in the G 2/M phase. The proportion of cells in the G 2/M phase after treatment with 30 mg?L -1 DADS for 24 hours was comparable (46 0%), and more than four times that occu rring in untreated cells (9 9%). Furthermore, flow cytometry analysis also demonstrated that DADS induced apoptosis of MGC803 cell in time-dependent manner. T he pencentage of apoptotic cell was 3 53% after 0 h of 30 mg?L -1 DADS tr eatment. This pencentage of apoptotic cell rose steadily over time reaching 9 8 % after 24 h and 39 5% after 48 h. CONCLUSIONDADS could induce apoptosis of MGC803 cells and block the cell cycle at G 2/M phase.

Objective To explore the mediating effect of coping styles on the relationship between social support and self-management among young patients with newly-diagnosed type 2 diabetes(T2DM).Methods A total of 169 young patients with newly-diagnosed T2DM at China-Japan Friendship Hospital were investigated with the Medical Coping Mmodes Questionnaire,Social Support Rating Scale and the Summary of Diabetes Self-Care Activities.Results Among young patients with newly-diagnosed T2DM,there was a positive correlation between social support and confronce coping style(r =0.250,P＜0.01).The confronce coping style was positively correlated with self-management(r=0.367,P＜0.01).Confronce coping style could explain 15.3%variance of self-management(P＜0.01).Confronce coping style had a mediating effect on the relationship between social support and self-management.Conclusions Confronce coping style has a predictive role on self-management among young patients with newly-diagnosed T2DM,and confronce coping style has a mediating effect between social support and self-management.

Objective To analyze the changes in blood metabolites in premature infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) within 36 h and in the 3rd week after birth in order to find new biomarkers for diagnosis of BPD.Methods The BPD group included 20 premature infants (＜32 gestational weeks) hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and diagnosed with BPD from January 2014 to October 2016.Another 20 non-BPD premature infants with similar gestational age (within one week) who were admitted during the same period were enrolled in the control group.Blood samples of both groups were collected within 36 h and in the 3rd week after birth.Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was used to detect blood metabolites and the obtained data were subjected to metabolomics analysis using orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis.Chi-square test (or Fisher's exact test),Mann-Whitney U test or t test was used for statistical analysis.Results (1) Twenty and 11 blood samples were collected within 36 h and in the 3rd week after birth from the BPD and the control group,respectively.Compared with the control group,the interval between premature rupture of membranes and delivery,the average length of hospital stay,non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation duration and the total duration of supplemental oxygen during hospitalization in the BPD group were longer [M (P25-P75) or ((x)±s):13.5 (0.0-98.3) vs 0.0 (0.0-0.0) h,Z=3.049;(66.6±20.5) vs (43.9±9.3) d,t=4.574;267.0 (199.5-516.1) vs 110.5 (0.0-238.5) h,Z=-3.428;117.5 (0.0-269.3) vs 0.0 (0.0-72.0) h,Z=-2.785;(1 184.0±386.6) vs (595.9±270.3) h,t=5.576;all P＜0.05].(2) Within 36 h after birth,the levels of glycine,proline,tryptophan and piperamide-C5:1 in the BPD group were decreased obviously compared with those in the control group [(201.59±65.01) vs (290.90± 137.56) μmol/L,t=-2.625;103.55 (72.43-434.57) vs 439.48 (103.80-608.98) μ mol/L,Z=-2.245;29.54 (20.30-41.04) vs 47.42 (29.46-73.57) μ mol/L,Z=-2.326;50.04 (35.29-104.78) vs 95.79 (76.21-129.97) μmol/L,Z=-2.029;all P＜0.05].However,the glutamate level was increased [(224.30±67.40) vs (182.67±40.87) μmol/L,t=2.362,P＜0.05].(3) In the 3rd week after birth,the levels of glycine,proline and tryptophan in the BPD group were lower compared to those in the control group [(185.92±61.51) vs (271.85± 115.85) μmol/L,t=-2.177;(39.41± 18.22) vs (63.92± 17.50) μ mol/L,t=-3.217;90.23 (37.93-146.37) vs 330.15 (47.79-622.90) μ mol/L,Z=-2.134;all P＜0.05].However,the ornithine level was higher [(75.09± 43.21) vs (39.25 ± 16.53) μ mol/L,t=2.569,P＜0.05].Conclusions Glycine,proline and tryptophan in blood are potential biomarkers for early diagnosis of BPD.

Among them, Wechat group chat and Wechat public signal platform are used widely. Wechat enriches the teaching way, and improve the effectiveness of teaching, moreover, it facilitates the relationship between teachers and students. However, there are the ongoing challenges such as lacking of supervision and protection of intellectual property rights.

Postprandial hypotension is an abnormal regulation of blood pressure, which is common in the elderly. Due to insidious symptoms, postprandial hypotension is easily neglected by patients and medical staff in clinical practice, but it has a high degree of harm. There are many factors related to the occurrence of postprandial hypotension, including demographic factors, disease-related factors, lifestyle factors, postprandial postural factors and so on. Among demographic factors, age is positively associated with the occurrence of postprandial hypotension. Among disease-related factors, the existence of some basic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, and the use of most kinds of anti-hypertensive drugs can increase the risk of postprandial hypotension. Among lifestyle factors, smoking is a risk factor for postprandial hypotension: while reducing the intake of staple foods, drinking large amounts of water or drinking green tea before meals may reduce the risk of postprandial hypotension. By taking different postures after meals, postural factors affect the rate of gastrointestinal emptying and then affect the occurrence of postprandial hypotension. Among the above factors, it is feasible to prevent postprandial hypotension by changing postprandial posture.

Objective:To investigate the impact of connexin 43(CX43) on the connection of S24 glioblastoma multiforme (S24-GBM) cellular network and to explore its role on radio-resistance.Methods:Specific lentiviral vectors were used to knockout CX43 in S24-GBM stem cells (S24-GBMSCs). Alternatively, carbenoxolone (CBX) was used to block transmission of CX43. Subsequently, the animal subjects grafted with S24-GBMSCs were monitored under a multiphoton laser scanning microscope (MPLSM). Dynamic changes of tumor microtubes (TMs) and transmission of Ca 2+ and SR101 in the cellular network were recorded. To study the radiosenstivity of S24-GBM before and after CX43 inhibition, MRI scanning of the brains was taken before and after radiation to assess the tumor sizes. Survival time of each subject was also recorded. Results:In comparison with control group, knockout of CX43 in S24-GBMSCs led to shorter TMs, less TM connected cells, lower Ca 2+ synchronicity and SR101 fluorescence, as well as decreased tumor sizes and prolonged survival time (all P<0.01), which were independent from radiation. However, CBX only demonstrated inhibition on the growth of tumors and the diffussion of Ca 2+ and SR101, without affecting TMs formation. These above-mentioned alterations could be enhanced by the combination of gap43 knockout in S24-GBMSCs with blockage of CX43 by CBX (all P<0.05). Conclusion:CX43 plays a critical role in the radioresistance of S24-GBM by influencing the formation of S24-GBM cellular network and the transmission of important signaling molecules including Ca 2+ and SR101.

China has a heavy burden of hepatocellular carcinoma, which is a serious threat to people′s life and health. However, the available drugs for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma in the past are limited and the efficacy is not satisfactory. In recent years, immunotherapy has a significant effects in some tumors. The authors introduce the efficacy of restart immunotherapy on an advanced hepatocellular carcinoma patient undergoing interruption of treatment due to corona virus disease 2019, in order to provide references for the diagnosis and treatment of this kind of patients.
