With the advent of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, occult inguinal hernias not reported by physical examination are frequently found during surgery. Occult inguinal hernia is an early inguinal hernia, which is easy to be ignored because its clinical symptoms are not obvious. Currently, the best diagnostic method for occult inguinal hernia is laparoscopy, Noninvasive tests such as ultrasound and MRI should be performed in patients with first symptoms. With the increase of age, abdominal wall strength decrease, and the proportion of occult inguinal hernia requiring treatment will also increase, doctors need to choose a reasonable treatment plan according to the actual situation of patients. The key to the diagnosis and treatment of occult inguinal hernia lies in making clear its definition and establishing uniform diagnostic criteria. Through reasonable and accurate preoperative examination combined with laparoscopic techniques and the adjustment of surgical approaches, occultic defects can be found and repaired. Individualized treatment for different populations can avoid future symptoms and reduce additional surgical risks.

The teaching practiceof cell biology experiments for oversea medical students in School of Medicine of Tongji University was reported in the present article, and the teaching principles of careful plan, clear contents, concise textbook, flexible scheme, full preparation, earnest trial-lecture, orderly implementation and formative assessment were put forward.Based on the different teaching object, the paper mainly explained the differences and the basis of the experimental teaching process of the foreign students and the domestic medical students to provide experience for improving the teaching mode of this kind of course.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of MRA in the arteries of the pelvis and lower extremity with automatic table movement (MobiTrak).Methods 12 cases suspected of pelvis and lower extremity artery diseases underwent dynamic 3D contrast enhanced MRA and automatic table movement at the same time.Three cases underwent artery angiography,four cases were detected by operation.Results All diseased arteries were well demonstrated.Among them,lower extremity artery occlusion 8,failing vascular grafts 2,artery aneurysms 2.Conclusion Automatic table movement is of value in assessing pelvis and lower extremity artery diseases accurately.And it is a reliable and potential new technique.

Purpose To investigate the expression of TET2 and DNMT3A in patients with peripheral T cell lymphoma (PTCL) and the relationship to immunophenotypes of PTCL.Methods Using a panel of immunohistochemical markers (CD3,CD4,CD10,BCL-6,CXCL-13,CD30,ALK),all cases of PTCLs were further divided into four groups,including angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma (AITL),peripheral T cell lymphoma,not otherwise specified (PTCL-NOS),anaplastic lymphoma kinase negative anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALK-ALCL) and anaplastic lymphoma kinase positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALK + ALCL).The expression of TET2 and DNMT3A in 89 cases of PTCL was detected by immunohistochemical analysis.Results 89 cases were divide into four subtypes,AITL (36/89),PTCL-NOS (26/89),ALKALCL (18/89),and ALK + ALCL (9/89).Immunohistochemistry staining revealed higher cytoplasmic expression of TET2 and DNMT3A in AITL than that of in PTCL-NOS and ALCL (P ＜ 0.05).And the nuclear expression of DNMT3A in patients with AITL was higher than that of PTCL-NOS and ALCL (P ＜ 0.05).The cytoplasmic expression of TET2 was positively related with both cytoplasmic and nuclear expression of DNMT3A in patients with AITL (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion TET2 combined with DNMT3A could be used as markers in AITL diagnosis,which could provide new strategy for AITL diagnosis.

Objective To preliminarily explore the level of spiritual needs from nurses in cancer patients,and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods Convenience sampling was applied to recruit 153 inpatients from a tertiary general hospital and a tumor hospital from December 2015 to April 2016.The Chinese version of the Nurse Spiritual Therapeutics Scale (NSTS) was administered to assess the level of spiritual needs from nurses in cancer patients.Results The total score of NSTS was (32.10-±7.68).Regression results showed that educational level and religion belief were influencing factors.Conclusion The level of spiritual needs from nurses in cancer patients was at middle level.With different educational level and religion status,the level of spiritual needs was different.

Objective To compare the different methods for treating aerobic vaginitis and mixed clinical effects of infection.Methods A randomized controlled method was used,298 cases of aerobic vaginitis and mixed infections were randomly divided into control group(149 cases):the use of combination anti -infective therapy,the treatment group(149 cases):the use of combination anti -infective at the same treatment plus lactobacillus vaginal medication.And the therapeutic effect was evaluated.Results The difference of the clinical efficacy of aerobic vagi-nitis treatment of mixed infections was not statistically significant (total effective rate of 95.3% in the treatment group,92.6% in the control group).With the time of treatment extended,the effective rate increased,the use of com-bination anti -infective therapy at the same time plus lactobacillus vaginal administration group of aerobic bacteria vaginosis and recurrence rate was significantly reduced in patients with mixed infection (recurrence rate was 6.0% in the treatment group and 12.8% was in the control group,χ2 =3.941 3,P <0.05).Conclusion The combination of anti -infective therapy at the same time plus lactobacillus vaginal drug treatment aerobic mixed infections and vagini-tis has slightly higher effective rate than the use of combination anti -infective treatment,the former relapse rate was significantly reduced.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the simultaneous content determination of berberine hydrochloride,phello-dendrine hydrochloride and magnoflorine in Phellodendron amurense decoction piece,and to campare the contents of the 3 ingredi-ents in different grades of P. amurense decoction piece. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Phenomenex Luna C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.05 mol/L KH2PO4 (gradient elution) at a flow rate of 1 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 280 nm,the column temperature was 30 ℃,and injection volume was 5 μl. RESULTS:The linear ranges were 0.387 0-7.740 μg for berberine hydrochloride(r=0.999 9),0.044 4-0.888 0 μg for phellodendrine hydrochloride(r=0.999 8)and 0.048 0-0.960 0 μg for magnoflorine(r=0.999 9);RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 3%, recoveries were 95.61%-103.22%(RSD=2.80%,n=6),96.18%-102.80%(RSD=1.84%,n=6) and 97.93%-102.78%(RSD=1.84%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple and accurate,and can be used for the contents determination of berberine hydrochloride, phellodendrine hydrochloride and magnoflonine in P. amurense. The contents of berbenine hydrochloride and phellodendrine hydro-chloride in the first-grade decation piece are higher than those in the second-grade decoction piece,and the content of magnoflorine in both decoction pieces shows no discernible differences.

BACKGROUND:Inflamed dental pulp stem cells are a new kind of dental pulp stem cells, and there is no systematic review on the cells by now. OBJECTIVE:To systematical y review the research progress in inflamed dental pulp stem cells. METHODS:A computer-based online search in PubMed, Web of Science, CNKI, WanFang and VIP databases was performed for related articles published from the establishment of the databases to February 2014. The keywords were“(pulptis or inflam*dental pulp*or human dental pulp with irreversible pulpitis) and stem cel*”in English and Chinese, respectively. Hand searching was also done to obtain further information or papers about the studies. The results were qualitatively analyzed to comprehensively summarize the progress in the research of inflamed dental pulp stem cells. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Total y 11 papers were involved in result analysis that comprehensively review the research progress in inflamed dental pulp stem cells at the fol owing aspects:the research of history, material origin, cellculture, cel-surface markers, proliferation ability, multi-directional differentiation potential, animal models and clinical use. Researches of inflamed dental pulp stem cells are stil in the initial stage, and cultivating conditions and the establishment of animal models are stil in the exploratory phase. Controversies stil exist in the capacity of proliferation and multi-directional differentiation of the inflamed dental pulp stem cells. And fewer studies have been done in the characteristics of immunity, subpopulation and clinical use of the inflamed dental pulp stem cells.
