Objective To investigate clinicopathological features of scalp angiosarcoma, and to analyze the relationship of tumor stage and treatment with prognosis. Methods Clinical and follow-up data were collected from 16 patients with non-metastatic primary scalp angiosarcoma treated in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University from September 2002 to June 2013. According to the seventh edition American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC)TNM staging system for soft tissue sarcomas (2010), staging of scalp angiosarcoma was performed for the 16 patients. Statistical analysis was carried out by the Kaplan-Meier method for survival rates and by the Log-rank test for survival curve. The Cox regression model was used for multivariate regression analysis. Results Of the 16 patients, 4 had stageⅠangiosarcoma, 4 stage Ⅱangiosarcoma, and 8 stage Ⅲ angiosarcoma. The tumor usually began as ecchymosis-like lesions on the head or face in early stage, and progressed into dark red infiltrative plaques, nodules and ulcers which easily ruptured and bled in later stage. Histopathological examination showed generalized vascular proliferation and infiltration with high histological morphological diversity. Cytologic atypia was commonly seen. The median time to recurrence was 15 months, and local recurrence occurred in 7 patients. The median time to metastasis was 20.5 months, and distant metastasis was observed in 8 cases, including 4 cases of pulmonary metastasis, 2 lymph node metastasis, 1 liver metastasis and 1 bone metastasis. The survival time was 33.0 ± 4.4 months (median, 32 months)in 4 patients with stage Ⅰangiosarcoma, 24.0 ± 7.9 months(median, 15 months)in 4 patients with stage Ⅱangiosarcoma, and 23.9 ± 3.9 months (median, 24 months)in 8 patients with stage Ⅲ angiosarcoma. Additionally, the survival time was 23.4 ± 5.2 months(median, 21 months), 24.4 ± 5.7 months(median, 24 months)and 35.8 ± 9.7 months(median, 26 months) in 5 patients receiving surgical treatment alone, 7 patients receiving surgical treatment and radiotherapy, and 4 patients receiving surgical treatment, radiotherapy and immunotherapy, respectively. Conclusions Surgical treatment combined with radiotherapy and immunotherapy may serve as the first-choice treatment for scalp angiosarcoma. Tumor size and treatment regimens are main factors influencing prognosis of scalp angiosarcoma.

Objective:To explore the effective diagnosis method and the clinical effect of laparoscopic technique for atypical CE1 hepatic cystic echinococcosis. Methods:The clinical data of 17 patients with atypical liver cystic echinococcosis from June 2018 to June 2019 in the People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were analyzed retrospectively, including 11 males and 6 females, (46.0±21.6) years old, all patients with a history of exposure in animal husbandry area. Preoperative hydatid immunity test, abdominal ultrasound and abdominal CT examination were completed, and laparoscopic surgery was performed. Postoperative follow-up was conducted by outpatient review and telephone, and the follow-up period was up to June 2020. The diagnosis, operation and recurrence of hydatid disease by different examination methods were analyzed. Results:Preoperative serum immunological examination of 17 patients showed that 11 were positive and 6 were negative for hepatic echinococcosis. The results of abdominal CT showed that 17 cases were hepatic cyst. Conventional color doppler ultrasound showed that 14 patients were hepatic cyst, 3 patients showed cystic space occupying, and cystic hydatidosis was not excluded; 9 patients observed double track sign or local thickening of cystic wall at the top of hepatic cystic lesions after replacement of high-frequency probe, which was diagnosed as hepatic cystic echinococcosis(CE1) , 8 patients as hepatic cyst. All 17 patients underwent laparoscopic operation, during which they were definitely diagnosed as hepatic cystic echinococcosis (CE1). During the operation, there was no conversion to laparotomy. The operation time was (125.0±54.5) min, the intraoperative blood loss was (150.0±84.5) ml without blood transfusion, and the postoperative hospital stay was (6.5±2.5) d. There were no serious complications or deaths in the perioperative period, 2 cases had microbile leakage, and recovered by themselves 5-10 days after the operation; the patients were followed up for 6-12 months, no loss of follow-up, no recurrence of liver and abdominal hydatid. Conclusions:In the process of diagnosis and treatment of liver single cystic lesions, we should pay attention to the differential diagnosis of atypical CE1 hepatic cystic echinococcosis and simple liver cyst. The effective differential rate of abdominal spiral CT, hydatid immune experiment and abdominal ultrasound is low, which is easy to be misdiagnosed and missed. The high frequency probe of abdominal ultrasound can effectively find atypical CE1 hepatic cystic echinococcosis. Laparoscopic technique is not only an effective diagnosis method but also a treatment method. It is necessary to choose a reasonable operation method according to the patient's hydatidosis. Laparoscopic operation is safe and feasible in the treatment of hepatic cystic echinococcosis.

Objective To investigate the effect of liver cirrhosis on the potency of propofol for sedation in rats. Methods Fifty-eight male SD rats, aged 10-12 weeks, weighing 180-220 g, were randomly divided into 3 groups: control group (group C, n = 18), mild liver cirrhosis group (group M1, n =20) and severe liver cirrhosis group (group M2, n = 20). The model of liver cirrhosis was established using four factors described by Chen et al. After successful establishment of the model, propofol was injected intravenously. The dose of propofol was determined by up-and-down sequential method for loss of righting reflex. The dose of propofol was 5.912 mg/kg in the first rat and the ratio of the doses between the two consecutive rats was 0.85. ED50 of propofol was calculated using up-and-down sequential method. Results ED50 of propofol was significantly lower in group M1 and M2 than in group C and in group M2 than in group M1 ( P < 0.05 or 0.01 ). Conclusion The liver cirrhosis can enhance the potency of propofol for sedation in rats.

This paper is aim to investigate the pharmacokinetics and absolute bioavailability of neoline in Beagle dogs, and provide a theoretical basis for further study. Ethyl acetate was used for liquid-liquid extracting after 10% ammonia alkalizing. The method of UPLC-Q-TOF-MS was established for the determination of neoline plasma concentrations. Beagle dogs were orally or intravenously administered with neoline for pharmacokinetic and absolute bioavailability study. Good linear relationship of neoline was found over the range of 0.1-4 mg x L(-1) (R2 = 0.9982) and 2-100 microg x L(-1) (R2 = 0.9945). Intra-and inter-day precision, expressed as the relativestandard (RSD) were less than 5.0%. Accuracy, expressed as the relative error (RE) was within 90.0%-115%. The recovery of neoline in dog plasma was more than 80%. After 6 mg x kg(-1) for ig and 1 mg x kg(-1) for iv administration of neoline, the main pharmacokinetic parameters were analyzed with Winnonlin software. t(1/2) were (313.88 +/- 63.18), (236.33 +/- 229.84) min, and AUC(0-infinity) were (58,027.40 +/- 14,132.69), (473,578.02 +/- 82,333.08) min x microg x L(-1) for ig and iv administration respectively. The absolute bioavail ability was (73.15 +/- 10.29) %. The method of UPLC-Q-TOF-MS described in the report was sensitive, reliable and specific, and suitable for pharmacokinetic study of neoline in Beagle dog. The high absolute bioavailability of neoline in dog suggested good absorption of neline which was worth of further investigation.
