Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2011;29(2):179-183
Costimulatory signals have become a hot field in immunological researches. As co-inhibitory molecules, programmed death-1 ( PD-1) and its ligands (PD-1/PD-L) have been demonstrated to play an important role in autoimmune disease, organ transplant rejection, microorganism infection, tumor immune escapes etc. . In recent years, some studies about PD-1/PD-L pathway in ophthalmology have been curried out and reported. Some changes were found in PD-1/PD-L pathway, such as ocular immunologic diseases, ocular infectious diseases, ocular tumors, immune privilege in ocular tissues and so on. Through the research on PD-1/PD-L pathway,we can further understand the pathogenesis of some ocular diseases and find new methods for their prevention and treatments. This article reviewed the recent advances in PD-1/PD-L pathway in ophthalmological physiopathology.
4.Analysis to competition status of internationalized TCM standardization
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2010;32(1):44-45
The demands for Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)standardization are rising internationally, but the development for TCM intemational standards is confronted with competence. In this context, the authors analyzed the competing status of intemationalized TCM standardization from 3 aspects:1.It is the key point for competition that obtaining leadership in the international organization and dominant position in developing important intemational standards:2.Integrating technical development and intellectual property with intemational standards has been gradually formed;3.Striving to make breakthrough in the development of TCM international standards on the basis of TCM Chinese national standards. The authors recommend that international standards be initiated from TCM service standards.TCM products quality standards and TCM process standards.
5.Application of Prescription Automatic Screening System in Clinical Medical Order Examination in Our Hospital
China Pharmacy 2007;0(34):-
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the application of Prescription Automatic Screening System (PASS) in the examination of clinical medical orders. METHODS: The level and type of caution and the modification rate of medical orders in our hospital between April 2005 and April 2006 were analysed statistically, and the conformity between PASS cautions of medical orders and clinical medications was evaluated. RESULTS: A total of 10 982 160 medical orders were monitored by PASS, of which, 11 146 were with black cautions and in which 2 861(25.67%) were modified, 51 504 were with red cautions and in which 10 357 (20.0%) were modified, 339 449 were with yellow ones and in which 66 022 (19.45%) were modified. In PASS monitor process, inconformity between feasible clinical medical orders and cautions of PASS was noted in a few cases. CONCLUSION: The examination of medical orders using PASS is convenient and rapid and the PASS can help improve clinical rational drug use level, however, its function of remains to be updated and optimized.
6.A study on the expressions of survivin and bcl-2 and their relationships in transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder
Journal of Chinese Physician 2000;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the expressions of survivin and bcl-2 and their relationships in transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder. Methods The expressions of survivin and bcl-2 in 40 cases of transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder were detected with streptavidin-biotin peroxidase(SP) method, with 15 cases of normal bladder specimens as controls. Results Survivin was expressed in 25 of 40(58.149%) cases of bladder carcinoma tissues, and normal bladder specimens did not express survivin(P
7.The inhititory effects of allicin on human lung epithelial cell apoptosis induced by porphyromonas gingivalis
Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(6):687-690
Objective To investigate the influence of different concentrations of allicin in apoptosis of A549 cells induced by porphyromonas gingivalis (P.gingivalis). Methods The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) of allicin in inhibiting P.gingivalis were investigated by broth dilution methods. The tetrazolium salts (MTT) assay was used to detect the viability of A549 cells infected by P.gingivalis and treated with different concentrations of allicin (64 mg/L, 96 mg/L and 128 mg/L). The flow cytometry FITC/PI staining was used to detect apoptotic rates of A549 cells treated by P.gingivalis and/or allicin for 24 h. Results The values of MIC and MBC of allicin for inhibiting P.gingivalis were 64 mg/L and 128 mg/L respectively. MTT assay showed that the cell viability was significantly increased with the increased concentration of allicin in a concentration-dependent manner (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in cell viability between allicin (128 mg/L) group and control group, which showed that allicin was no significant cytotoxicity in A549 cells. Flow cytometry assay showed that the apoptotic rates from high to low were P. gingivalis group>P. gingivalis+allicin group>allicin group>control group with significant differences (P<0.01). The apoptosis of A549 cells induced by P.gingivalis was significantly inhibited by allicin (P<0.01). Conclusion Allicin can inhibit P.gingivalis infection in lung epithelial cells. There is a good prospect in the application of allicin in the treatment of pulmonary infection in patients with periodontitis.

Compared with the postoperative pathology, US-CNB had sensitivity of 95.83%, speciifcity of 100.00%, the coincidence rate of 96.49%, the misdiagnosis rate of 4.17%, and misdiagnosis rate of 0%. The Youden's index was 0.96, andKappa was 0.8345. ConclusionUS-CNB has high sensitivity, speciifcity and coincidence rate in diagnosis of PTB.
10.The application of bioelectrical impedance measurement of body composition in patients with liver diseases
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(04):-
The status of bioelectrical impedance measurement especially the multifrequency segmental bioelectrical impedance measurement of liver diseases is introduced. The multifrequency segmental bioelectrical impedance can well rule out the impact from the change of body weight caused by edema and ascites, and can evaluate the volume of ascites.Compared with single frequency bioelectrical impedance, the multi frequency bioelectrical impedance measurements probably display good prospect. It helps to produce objective judgement on nutrition status and energy metabolism for patients with liver diseases. The effect, however, needs further clinical research.
