Objective To explore the effects of rhythmic auditory stimulation on the gait of patients with Parkinson's disease(PD). Methods Eight patients with PD and six healthy control subjects were studied.All subjects walked as usaal for 2 min and then Walked for 2 rain with rhythmic auditory attentional stimulation with a frequency 10% faster than their basic pace.The gait parameters in the two walking conditions were measured with three-dimension motion analysis equipment.In addition,executive function was evaluated using a frontal assessment battery (FAB)scale and the Stroop-3 test. Results In both walking conditions,average stride length and velocity were significantly lower in the PD patients than among the controls.The metronome at the higher frequency increased the cadence and stride velocity significantly in the controls.but in the PD patients it was associated with increased ca dence but decreased stride length.With auditory stimulation,the variability of velocity decreased significantly in the controls,but the variability in stride length increased significantly in the PD patients.Even with the auditory stimulation,the variability in step length,stride length and velocity were still significantly higher in the PD patients than among the controls.Executive dysfunction was clearly evident in the PD patients.Stroop-3 error rates were significantly negatively correlated with step length in the condition involving auditory stimulation.Conclusion Auditory attentional stimulation at a higher frequency becomes a new cognitive load for PD patients,and it cannot improve their gait.This may be related to executive dysfunction.

Objective To explore the effects of extrinsic and intrinsic recognition loading on gait in patients with Parkinson disease.Methods Eight patients with Parkinson disease and six control subjects were instrutted to walk with extrinsic and intrinsic recognition loading respectively.The gait parameters in two conditions were measured with three-dimension motion analysis equipment.FAB scale and Stroop Test were used as the evaluation of executive function.Results The velocity(cm/s),the cadence(step/min),single support and swing phase(%)in the audition stimulates condition in the patients group((113.4±14.32)step/min,(78.90±16.35)cm/s,(40.50±2.58)%,(40.50±2.58)%)were significantly better than those in the calculation condition(respectively(91.27±15.54)step/min,(63.79±21.49)cm/s,(37.95±2.61)%,(37.95±2.61)%).In the calculation condition,the coefficients of variability in stride length,swing and sinfle support phase were significantly higher in the patient group(respectively(6.69±3.99),(8.56±5.69),(8.56±5.69))than in thecontrol group(respectively(3.23±1.34),(5.02±2.54),(5.02±2.54));in the audition condition,except that,the coefficients of variability in step length and velocity also were significantly higher in the patient group(respeetively(11.92±5.86),(6.89±4.98))than the control group(respectively(7.35±3.32),(2.5±1.53)).In the patients group,the score of FAB(15.63±1.51)was lower and error rates of Stroop test(0.087±0.056)was higher than those in the control group(respectively(17.67±0.52),(0.027±0.03))significantly.The error rate of stroop-3 was significantly negative correlated with the gait variables of patient group in the calculation condition.Conclusion The extrinsic audition stimulates has lower effect on the gait of patients of Parkinson's disease than the intrinsic recognition loading.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of radiosensitization by cetuximab (C225) on human tongue cancer Tca8113 cell line in vitro.Methods Tca8113 cell line with and without C225 treatment received 6 MV X-ray irradiation of different doses (0, 2,4,6, 8 and 10 Gy). Cell proliferation,cell-cycle distribution and clonogenic survival were analyzed through cell counting,MTT,colony formation assay,and flow cytometry,respectively.Results After irradiation of different doses,the growth inhibition rates in C225 group were higher than control (t =- 15.6 - -3.0,P＜0.05),the radiobiological parameters (D0,Dq,N,and SF2 ) in C225 group were lower than control so that SER of C225 group was 1.353,and the proportions of G0/G1 cells in C225 group were higher than control ( t =-7.64,-7.89,-4.78,P ＜0.05 ) at 4,6,8 Gy.When the irradiation doses increased,the early phase apoptosis in both groups increased at first and then decreased with the maximum difference at 4 Gy [(7.96±0.36)％ in C225 group and (4.13 ±0.29)％ in control group,t =-12.75,P＜0.01 ].Conclusions C225 has radiosensitization effect on Tca8113 cell line,possible through Go/G1 arrest and induction of apoptosia.

Objective To retrospectively study the efficacy and side-effect of 125I seed implantation combined with endocrinal therapy in stage T3N0M0 prostate cancer.Methods The study included 22 patients with clinical stage T3 N0 M0 prostate cancer who were treated with transperineal 125I seed implantation guided by transrectal ultrasound,real time TPS and endocrinal therapy.The minimum peripheral doses (MPD) were 140-160 Gy.The median number of seeds was 74(26-90).The activity of each seed was 1.55 × 107 (1.30 × 107-1.85 × 107) Bq.11 patients were treated with orchidectomy,and 11 patients were treated with androgen deprivation therapy.Results All 22 patients completed the seed implantation successfully.The 5-year biochemical progression-free survival was 70.6％,and 5-year overall survival was 81.8％.2 patients were found biochemical failure in 12 months after seed implantation,and another 1 patient failed in 90 months.Endocrinal therapy was followed thereafter.After the seed implantation,the urinary complications of grade 1 and 2 were 54.5％ and 9.1％ respectively,and the rectum side-effect of grade 1 and 2 were 22.7％ and 9.1％.1 patient suffered rectal complication of grade 4.Conclusions Good effect and tolerance are observed in prostate cancer patients of stage T3N0M0 receiving 125I seed implantation plus endocrinal therapy.The treatment can be considered for those who refuse to receive external beam radiotherapy.

Objective To evaluate the myocardial protection effects of trimetazidine during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods 101 patients from 5 hospitals with stable or unstable angina pectoris were enrolled in this study. All the patients were randomized into two groups: a trimetazidine group (n = 54) and a control group ( n = 47). The trimetazidine group received oral trimetazidine 20 mg three times a day for (5±2 ) days before coronary angiography and a loading dose of 60 mg 30 minutes before PCI. The daily routine dosage was continued for 4 weeks after the procedure. The control group received similar treatment except trimetazidine. For each patient, the angina pectoris attacks, CK-MB,electrocardiogram and echocardiogram were noted. Results Angina did not occur in trimetazidine group during the procedure but occurred in 12 patients( 25.5% ) in the control group( P <0.001 ). The changes of ST-segment and T wave during balloon dilatation in PCI procedure were less in the trimetazidine group (60.8% vs 78.3% , P < 0.05). Ejection fraction in the trimetazidine group was higher than that in the control group 4 weeks [ ( 66.6±7.1 ) % vs ( 63.0±7.7 ) % , P = 0.03 ] after PCI. Conclusion Trimetazidine could reduce the frequency of angina pectoris attacks and myocardial damage during PCL It also improves left ventricular function during follow-up after PCL

Objective To propose an improved discrete wavelet transform (DWT ) and to apply it in multimodal medical im‐age fusion .Methods Firstly ,the source medical images were initially transformed into the high frequency and low frequency images by DWT ;then the high frequency part adopted the big direction absolute values ,which effectively preserved the detailed informa‐tion of image ,while the low frequency part used the fusion rule of local energy ratio for preserving the most of image information ;finally ,the discrete wavelet reverse transform was used for reconstructing the fusion sub‐images into fusion image .Results By comparing the fusion images by 3 groups of medical images ,this proposed algorithm was superior to other existing algorithms in the aspects of subjective visual effect and objective evaluation indicators .Conclusion The proposed algorithm of medical image fusion is rapid and accurate ,has excellent performance in the noise environment and clinical examples ,can obtain the high quality fusion im‐age and has higher clinical application value .

Objective To investigate the mechanism and effect of the spinal cord outlet of the skull base on Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia.Methods The cervical spinal cord stem angle (Anbc),slope angle of cervical vertebra (Ansc) of Chiari Ⅰ malformation were measured.In foramen magnum (Llf) and anterior vertebral canal level (Laf),spinal canal(Ac),spinal cord (As) and inferior hernia area (Ah) were measured.Angle,area and ratio were compared in Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia,Chiari Ⅰ malformation without syringomyelia and normal control group.Results Ansc,Anbc-Ansc had significant differences among control group and Chiari Ⅰ malformation patients (all P＜0.001).In Llf,Laf,As had significant differences among three groups (all P＜0.05),further comparison of the two showed there were significant differences between Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia patients and control group,Chiari Ⅰ malformation without syringomyelia patients and control group in Llf(all P＜0.05).In Llf,Laf,Ac in Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia was smaller than control group (P＜0.05).Ah in Llf,Lafand Lh in Llf had no statistical significant difference between Chiari Ⅰ malformation with and without syringomyelia patients (all P＞0.05).In Llf,Laf,As/Ac had statistical significant difference among Chiari Ⅰ malformation with and without syringomyelia patients,control group (all P＜0.001),further comparison of the two showed As/Ac in Llf had statistical significance difference between Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia patients and control group (P＜0.05),As/Ac in La had statistical significance difference between Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia patients and control group,between Chiari Ⅰ malformation without syringomyelia patients and control group (all P＜0.05),Conclusion The cervical spinal cord,Ansc reducing,narrow vertebral proportion increase are important factors to promote Chiari Ⅰ malformation syringomyelia.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Yangfei Ziyin Decoction (YZD) on symptoms, serum levels of TNF-alpha, IL-6, and aquaporin-5 (AQP-5), and pathology of Sj6gren's syndrome (SS) model mice.

METHODSTotally 60 mice were divided into 6 groups according to random digit table, i.e., the model group, the normal control group, the high, medium, low dose YZD groups (administered with YZD at 36.7, 18.4, 9.2 g/kg, 0.2 mL/10 g), the Chinese patent medicine group [CPM, administered with total glucosides of paeony at 0.6 g/kg], 10 mice in each group. All intervention was performed for six successive days in a week, with an interval of one day, a total of 50 days. Body weight, salivary secretion, food and water intake were measured at day10, 20, 30, 40, and 50, respectively. At day 50 blood was collected. Submandibular gland, thymus, and spleen were weighed. Serum levels of TNF-alpha, IL-6, and AQP-5 were detected by ELISA. Pathological changes of submandibular gland were observed. Results Compared with the normal control group, there was no change in water intake of mice in the model group, but with reduced salivary secretion (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). Thymus/spleen/submandibular gland weight and index increased in the model group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). Compared with the model group at the same time point, salivary secretion increased in the CPM group and 3 YZD groups (P < 0.01 , P < 0.05). Compared with the model group, thymus/spleen/submandibular gland weight and index decreased in the CPM group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). Thymus/submandibular gland weight and index decreased in the low dose YZD group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). Thymus/submandibular gland weight and index, and spleen index decreased in high and medium dose YZD groups (P < 0.01 , P < 0.05). Levels of TNF-alpha and IL-6 decreased, but AQP-5 level increased in the CPM group (P < 0.05). AQP-5 level increased in high and medium dose YZD groups (P < 0.01 , P < 0.05). In the model group alveoli and duct of salivary gland were destroyed, alveoli and duct were irregular, epithelial cells were degenerated, necrotic, and desquamated. Mild-to-moderate lymphocytic infiltration occurred around submandibular gland. Pathological changes were alleviated in the CPM group and 3 YZD groups.

CONCLUSIONYZD could improve clinical symptoms, serum levels of TNF-alpha, IL-6, AQP-5, and pathological changes of SS model mice.

Using the Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus as the indictor bacterium,fourteen antibacterial strains were initially obtained by the bilayer-media screening method from the raw milk samples,and one isolate was found to exhibit the higher antibacterial activity against the indicator. This isolate was further studied on its individual and cultural morphology features,partial physiological and biochemical reaction activities,G+C content,the sequence features of the 16S rDNA and the species-specific N-acetylmuraminidase gene(acmA) ,consequently,it was identified as the Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis strain,named as MB191. An evaluation of the antimicrobial spectra of MB191 was subsequently performed,it showed the remarkable activities against not only the tested Gram-positive bacteria,but also several Gram-negative bacteria including Pseudomonas syringae and P. fluorescens,as well as the yeast Debaryomyces hansenii,which was a distinctive feature that was not reported prior to this study.

Objective: To explore the dynamic association and gender difference among body dissatisfaction, weight bias internalization and eating disorders in junior high school students, so as to provide the reference for the rational implementation of relevant intervention activitites. Methods: From June to December 2023, a cluster sampling method was used to select 698 students from a middle school in Fuzhou for three followup surveys for a period of 6 months (T1:June 2023, T2:September 2023, T3:December 2023). The Eating Disorders Inventory-Body Dissatisfaction (EDI-BD), the Chinese Version of the Weight Bias Internalization Scale for Mainland Chinese Children and Adolescents (C-WBIS), and the Chinese Version of the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (C-EDE-QS) were used for investigation. Analysis of variance, t test, Pearson correlation analysis and crosslagged analysis were used for statistical analysis. Results: T1 there were statistically significant differences in body dissatisfaction scores among junior high school students of different grades and with or without leftbehind experience (t=-3.25, 2.12, P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in weight bias internalization (t=-3.03, -2.43, 2.43) and eating disorders (t=-4.64, -2.04, 2.63) among junior high school students of different genders, grades and with or without leftbehind experience (P<0.05). Crosslagged analysis showed that body dissatisfaction was a predictor of weight bias internalization (βT1-T2=0.22, βT2-T3=0.12) and eating disorders (βT1-T2=0.09, βT2-T3=0.17, P<0.01). Eating disorders could predict body dissatisfaction (βT1-T2=0.15, βT2-T3=0.13) and weight bias internalization (βT1-T2=0.14, βT2-T3=0.23, P<0.01). The mutual predictive effect of body dissatisfaction, weight bias internalization and eating disorders varied with gender. T2 weight bias internalization in girls had a predictive effect on T3 body dissatisfaction (β=0.11). T1 and T2 eating disorders in girls had a predictive effect on T2 and T3 weight bias internalization (βT1-T2=0.26, βT2-T3=0.21) (P<0.01). Conclusions Body dissatisfaction, weight bias internalization, and eating disorders of the junior high school students are interconnected. And there is a certain twoway correlation and gender difference between body dissatisfaction, weight bias internalization and eating disorders in junior high school students.
