Purpose To investigate the comparison of miR-106a in fresh and paraffin-embedded tissues and its expression in precan-cerous 1esions of gastric cancer. Methods Human gastric cancer tissues inc1uding 30 coup1es of fresh and 40 coup1es of paraffin-em-bedded samp1es were co11ected,quantitative rea1-time PCR was used to detect the expression of miR-106a in these two samp1es. Anoth-er paraffin-embedded samp1es inc1uding 20 cases of precancerous 1esions and 40 cases of gastric adenocarcinoma were a1so co11ected,in situ hybridization was used to assess the expression of miR-106a in these stages. Results The re1ative expression of miR-106a in fresh tissues was 3. 25 ± 1. 99,in paraffin-embedded tissues was 3. 18 ± 2. 14,indicating that the expression of miR-106a in these two sam-p1es has no statistica1 difference(P>0. 05),corre1ation ana1ysis showed that there was a significant corre1ation of miR-106a expression in these two samp1es(rs =0. 998,P<0. 001). The expression of miR-106a was detected in the stage of precancerous 1esions with the positive rate was 70%. The positive signa1s were 1ocated in dysp1astic epithe1ia1 ce11s and appeared as dark b1ue fine granu1es. The positive rate of miR-106a in gastric cancer tissues was 87. 5% and the frequency and extent increased and enhanced compared with pre-cancerous 1esions. Conclusion miR-106a has significant corre1ation in gastric cancer fresh tissues and paraffin-embedded tissues. Detection of miR-106a with paraffin tissues and its ear1y changes in prema1ignant 1esions can provide va1uab1e information for the ear1y diagnosis of gastric cancer.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between arterial stiffness and variability of blood pressure (BPV) in senile patients with hypertension.
Methods: A total of 234 senile patients with hypertension were enrolled. The patients were examined by 24h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), BPV was identified by the standard deviation (SD) of blood pressure value. Based on increased percentage of baPWV, the patients were divided into 4 groups: Normal artery group, n=44, Mild arterial stiff group, n=72, Moderate arterial stiff group, n=78 and Severe arterial stiff group, n=40. The 24h ABPM results, BPV, biochemical indexes and their relationship to baPWV were compared among different groups.
Results:①The HDL-C level and 24hDBP, dDBP, 24hSBPSD, 24hDBPSD, dSBPSD, dDBPSD, nDBPSD were significantly different among each group, all P<0.05.②The increased percentage of baPWV was positively related to the age and 24hSBPSD, 24hDBPSD, dSBPSD, dDBPSD, nDBPSD, while negatively related to HDL-C level, all P<0.05.③The age and 24hSBPSD, 24hDBPSD, dSBPSD were the independent risk factors for baPWV elevation.
Conclusion: The arterial stiffness was closely related to BPV in senile patients with hypertension.

Objective To explore the clinical application of pereutaneous transluminal angioplasty(PTA) and endovascular bracket to treat lower extremity arteriosclorotic occlusion.Methods The clinical data of 36 patients(41 affected limbs)with lower extremity atherosclerotic occlusion who were treated with PTA and bracket implantation from Jan 2008 to Dee 2008 were summarized.Results The initial successful rate of PTA wag 95.1% (39/41).The clinical symptoms were considerably improved in 37 affected limbs,representing of pain disappearing,skin temperature increasing and the healing of refractory ulcer.The index of ankle to brachial significantly increased from 0.54±0.11 to 0.79±0.15(before v.s.after therapy).However,no improvement was observed in 3 affected limbs,and one affected limb Wag re-operated by the amputation.In the following 3 to 15 months.three superficial femorsI arteries were re-obstructed at the 5th,6th,12th month,respectively.One arteria tibialis pesterior was re-obstructed at the 8th month.The cumulative cure rate was 89.7%(35/39).Conclusions PTA is effective in treating atherosclerotic occlusive diseases.The endovascular bracket can increase the cumulative cure rate.PTA and endovascular bracket are safe and effective in treating lower extremity arteriosclerotie occlusion.

It gave brief analysis on elements which had been used or without using. Studies showed that Web Ontology Language (OWL) can express all elements of TCM literatures clearly. This study indicated that element refinements should be considered to add in the amendment of ISO International Standards application for further improvement.

BACKGROUND: Human apolipoprotein H which characterizes by polymorphism is related to metabolism of triacylglycerol (TG) and function of platelet; therefore, it is suspected that it is possibly related to coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CAHD).OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlation among apolipoprotein H(ApoH) exon-8 polymorphism with CAHD and its effect on lipometabolism.DESIGN: Case-controlled observation.SETTING: Department of Cardiology, Haici Medical Group, Qingdao,Shangdong. PARTICIPANTS: 110 CAHD patients selected from Qingdao Haici Medical Group were regarded as CAHD group, and other 100 healthy subjects were regarded as control group.METHODS: 2 mL blood was collected from peripheral vein of all cases. Polymerase chain reaction and technique of restriction fragment length polymorphism were used to determine the genotype of ApoH exon-8; meanwhile, lipids were measured with oxidase technique.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① polymorphism of ApoH exon-8 genotype; ② gene frequency of ApoH exon-8 (Try316Ser); ③ comparisons of lipid level of cases with various genetypes.RESULTS: All 210 cases were involved in the final analysis. ① G1025C (Try316Ser) existed in ApoH exon-8, including types of GG and GC, butnot CC type. ② The frequency of GC in the CAHD group was 25.5％, and the frequency of C allele was 0.13; they were significantly higher than those in control group (10％, 0.05, P ＜0.05). ③ TG level in genotype GC of CAHD group was significantly higher than that both in GG genotype and in any genotype of control group [(1.38±0.24), (1.16±0.10),(1.09±0.78), (1.12±0.76) mmol/L, P ＜ 0.05]. Level of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (C-LDL) was higher in CAHD group than that in control group (P＜0.05).CONCLUSION: The polymorphism of ApoH exon-8 is closely related to CAHD and TG level.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the comprehensive model for the prevention and treatment of community hypertension.METHODS:By questionnaire survey,the community hypertension target population was screened and the drug use in hypertensive patients was analyzed statistically.RESULTS:Of the 65 000 community residents investigated,1 250 were found to be hypertensive patients,with a total treatment rate of 80.0%;only 32.8% were treated with at least 2 kinds of drugs,and the overall blood pressure control efficacy was poor.CONCLUSION:The program of prevention and treatment for community hypertensive patients is conducive to patients' long term adherence to medication,scientific and rational drug use and effective and stable control of blood pressure.

Avian influenza virus H6N1 subtype has been circulating in aquatic bird and terrestrial bird,and is the most frequently detected subtype of influenza A virus in those hosts.Genetic analysis results suggested that this virus might be the progenitor of the highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 virus,as seven of eight gene segments of those viruses had a common source.As continuing evolution of H6N1,it could spread across species barriers to mammals and had strong infection ability in mice,swine and ferrets.Serological epidemiological survey showed that a few people were positive for H6 avian influenza virus antibody and then the world's first human infection with influenza virus H6N1 subtype was reported in May 2013.Therefore,with the expansion of the host range of the virus,gene mutation and gene reassortment of H6N1 virus can occur in these hosts,and then it may evolve into novel variant strain with infected human potential.

Objective To observe the efficiency of clopidogrel combined with emergency corona interventional therapy for non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction.Methods A total of 112 patients with non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction who were admitted in our hospital from February 2004 to November 2007 were divided into 2 groups at random with 56 patients in each,the experimental group and the control group.All patients were treated with emergency corona interventional therapy and the other routine standard therapies.The experimental group was treated with clopidogrel(75 mg,once per day for 8 weeks),and the control group administered ticlopidine(250 mg,twice per day for 8 weeks).The two group were followed up for a time of half a year.Results The TIMI(thrombolysis in myocardial infarction) myocardial-perfusion grade 3 angiographic flow was achieved in 91.1% of the experimental group,higher than that of the control group(87.5%),but there was no significant difference between them.What's more,there was no obvious difference between the 2 group in cardiac functional grading and life-threatening bleeding.The experimental group had significantly lesser hyporrhea,and lower platelet degradation and total white blood cells counts in comparison to the control group.After the followed-up of half a year,there was significant difference between them in combination-end point.Conclusion Addition of clopidogrel is effective in emergency corona interventional therapy for non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction,which can degrade the risk of emergency corona interventional therapy.
