OBJECTIVE: The study is to evaluate our results of patients with sinonasal inverted papilloma (SIP) undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery and to investigate the recurrence relative factors of SIP. METHOD: A retrospec- tive analysis was performed of medical records for 54 cases SIP treated with endoscopic resection. Compared to pre operation imaging evaluation and intraoperative observation, efficacy assessments included endoscopy during follow-up after operation and combined with CT examination results. RESULT: The incidence of 54 cases with ethmoid sinus, part of the lateral wall of the nasal cavity was higher. The recurrence rate was higher in the cases invaded front and/or inferior wall of maxillary sinus, frontal recess. There was no case with middle turbinate. Canceration with the same time accounted for 1.85%. CONCLUSION Misdiagnosis as polyps, the lesion sites of tumour, involving the frontal recess, front and inferior wall of maxillary sinus are the risk factors of recurrence. The preoperative accurate judgment of the primary tumor site and surgical resection completly are the most effective means of preventing recurrence. Postoperative endoscopy examination combined with CT examination is an effective means for the evaluation of recurrence.

Objective To investigate the effects of two different dosages of dexmedetomidine on short-latency somatosensory evoked potentials (SLSEP)in intracranial surgery.Methods Forty pa-tients,ASA Ⅰor Ⅱ,aged 20-65 years old,selected for intracranial surgery were randomly divided in-to two groups,20 patients in each group.Bolus dose of 0.5 μg/kg dexmedetomidine was infused within first 10 min and followed by continuous infusion of 0.5 μg·kg-1·h-1 for 10 min in group A;Bolus dose of 1.0 μg/kg dexmedetomidine was infused within first 10 mins and followed by continu-ous infusion of 1.0 μg·kg-1·h-1 for 10 min in group B.SLSEP indications include N20-P25 amplitute and N20 latent period were observed.MAP,HR,N20-P25 amplitute and N20 latent period were re-corded respectively before dexmedetomidine adminstraition (T0 )and 20 mins after dexmedetomidine adminstraition (T1 ).Results Compared with T0 ,MAP and HR at T1 significantly decreased in both groups(P <0.05).N20-P25 amplitude had no statistically significant difference in both groups,while N20 latent period significantly prolonged (P <0.05).Conclusion Both doses of 0.5 μg/kg and 1.0μg/kg dexmedetomidine can significantly prolong the latent period of N20.

Objective To observe different priming techniques with intubation dose when using cisatracurium in onset time and safety. Methods Eighty ASA physical status Ⅰ and Ⅱ patients undergoing elective surgery requiring general anesthesia were enrolled. Group Ⅰ with 20 cases received cisatracurium 0.010 mg/kg, group Ⅱ with 20 cases received cisatracurium 0.015 mg/kg,group Ⅲ with 20 cases received cisatracurium 0.010 mg/kg,and group Ⅳ with 20 cases received normal saline. Four minutes after priming,group Ⅰ received cisatracurium 0.140 mg/kg ,group Ⅱ received cisatracurium 0.135 mg/kg, group Ⅲ received cisatracurium 0.190 mg/kg,and group Ⅳ received cisatracurium 0.200 mg/kg. Mechanomyography assessed the neuromuscular function of the adductor pollicis with train-of-four (TOF) supramaximal impulses T1. The trachea was intubated when the amplitude of T1 decreased to 0. Recorded T1 and TOF in 4 minutes and onset time of muscle relaxation, then evaluated intubation condition. Results The onset time in group Ⅰ , Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ were (151.30 ± 10.90), (138.90 ±8.37), (145.45 ± 17.12), (148.75 ± 18.70) s,respectively. The onset time in group Ⅱ was obviously shorter than that in group Ⅰ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ (P ＜ 0.01 ),thus there was no significant differences among the group Ⅰ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ. During the priming interval, the value of T1 and TOF were both showing downtrend, in group Ⅱ ,there was TOF ＜ 90%. Conclusions Priming dose 0.010 mg/kg and intubation dose 0.140 mg/kg is just the same like that in intubation dose of quadruple ED95 whether priming. There is no benefit in priming cisatracurium of intubation dose quadruple ED95. There is TOF ＜ 90% in 4 minutes priming interval when using priming dose 30% ED95 and it is proved unsafely.

Given the vital role of vasculature in solid tumors, the potential of vascular disrupting therapy in the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is promising. In this study, we prepared the acid-sensitive liposome PPD/CA4P/Lip-Rap loaded with the vascular disrupting agent CA4P and the anti-angiogenic drug rapamycin (Rap) to explore the potential of the vascular disrupting strategy in TNBC. PPD/CA4P/Lip-Rap was characterized by ¹H NMR, dynamic light scattering, and transmission electron microscopy. Its drug loading and acid sensitivity were determined. The particle size of PPD/CA4P/Lip-Rap is 161.53 ± 1.89 nm, the zeta potential is -20.03 ± 0.9 mV and it demonstrated good drug release on acidic sensitivity responses. CCK-8 experiments proved that Rap can enhance the ability of CA4P to destroy tumor vascular endothelial cells. Rap can kill marginal residual tumor cells, suppress tumor recurrence. Nanocarriers can further enhance the therapeutic effect. Western blot (WB) showed that Rap decreased the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) via the mTOR/p70S6K and mTOR/4E-BP1 pathways. Thus, tumor hypoxia activation and angiogenesis were inhibited. PPD/CA4P/Lip-Rap can effectively destroy tumor vessels, inhibit tumor angiogenesis and recurrence, and provide a new strategy for the treatment of TNBC by targeting disruption of tumor vessels.

Objective （ ） To investigate the association between urinary polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons PAHs metabolites - Methods and high normal blood pressure in coke oven workers. A total of 433 coke oven workers were selected as the study - subjects using convenient sampling method. They were divided into normal blood pressure group and high normal blood pressure group according to their blood pressure level. The levels of ten kinds of urinary hydroxylated PAHs metabolites were measured by - Results - high performance liquid chromatography mass spectrometry. Among the subjects,57.5% had high normal blood - ， - ， - pressure. The levels of 1 hydroxynathalene 2 hydroxyphenanthrene 1 hydroxyphenanthrene and the metabolite of total PAHs - （ P ） in the high normal blood pressure group were higher than those in the normal blood pressure group all <0.05 . The results of - ， - ， - ， the multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that urinary 1 hydroxynathalene 2 hydroxyfluorene 3 hydroxychrysene - （ P ）， and metabolite of total PAHs were all risk factors for high normal blood pressure in coke oven workers all <0.05 after ， ， ， ， ， adjusting for confounding factors such as gender length of service body mass index smoking index alcohol consumption tea ， ， ， Conclusion consumption night shift exercise frequency and other PAHs metabolites. Exposure to PAHs in coke oven plants may increase the risk of elevated blood pressure within the normal range among coke oven workers.

OBJECTIVETo test the different contrctile responses of extracellular nucleotides, such as ATP, UTP and nucleotide uridine adenosine tetraphosphate (Up4A) in gastric longitudinal muscle (LM) and circular muscle (CM). Examined the effect of P2X and P2Y receptor antagonists (in this study, we used IP5I and suramin) and cyclooxygenase inhibitor (indomethacin) on Up4A induced contractile responses in LM and CM.

METHODSThe rats were sacrificed and the stomachs were opened to gain LM and CM. Using organ bath system to assess contrctile responses of smooth muscle.

RESULTSUp4A could induce contractile responses in both CM and LM, which were similar with ATP and UTP. IP5 did not attenuate Up4A could induce contractions in both LM and CM, but suramin and indomethacin significantly inhibited Up4A contraction in CM, but not in LM.

CONCLUSIONOur results suggest that extracellular nucleosides and their inhibitors induce different responses between LM and CM.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the features of drowning victims with psychiatric disorders to support further investigation on such cases. METHODS: One hundred and five archives of drowning victims with psychiatric disorders from January 2010 to June 2014 in Harbor Public Security Subbureau, Shanghai Public Security Bureau were reviewed. The decedents' general information, autopsy findings, case investigation data and disease histories were statistically analyzed. RESULTS: Of the 105 cases, 104 were suicides. Most decedents were poorly educated. Most suicides occurred in warm climate, and the corpses were usually found within 2 days. Most decedents had no suicide history and notes, but had abnormal mental or behavior changes before suicide. Depression, depression status and schizophrenia were the main types of psychiatric disorders, and only 9 decedents had received regular therapies before their deaths. CONCLUSION Mental disorder is a high risk factor in the drowning victims. Guardians should be aware of psychotic abnormal behaviors, especially during warm climate seasons.

Objective:To investigate the effects and underlying mechanisms of XRCC3 on esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma (ESCC) radiotherapy response. Methods:Expression levels of XRCC3 were detected by reverse transcription PCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry. We knocked down XRCC3 with lentiviral infection in ESCC cells. Cell apoptosis was examined by flow cytom-etry. DNA damage and telomere dysfunction-induced foci were determined by immunofluorescence. Results:The expression levels of XRCC3 in ESCC cells and tissues were higher than those in normal esophageal epithelial cells and corresponding adjacent noncancer-ous esophageal tissues. Knockdown of XRCC3 in ESCC cells substantially increased the therapeutic efficacy of radiation. We demon-strated that the radiation resistance of XRCC3 was attributed to the XRCC3-maintaining telomere stability, which reduced ESCC cell death through radiation-induced apoptosis. Conclusion: Our data suggested that XRCC3 protects ESCC cells from ionizing radia-tion-induced DNA damage and death by enhancing telomere stability. Thus, XRCC3 can be used as a promising therapeutic target for ESCCs.

Objective To investigate the impacts of pyruvate kinase M2 isoform (PKM2) silencing on the radiosensitivity of lung adenocarcinoma cell line (A549 cells) and the radiation synergy of xenografts, and to explore their mechanisms. Methods Plasmid pshRNA?PKM2 for interference with PKM2 expression was transfected into A549 cells, and empty vector?transfected cells and untransfected cells were set as con?trols. The silencing efficiency of pshRNA?PKM2 and the expression level of microtubule?associated protein 1 light chain 3(LC3) were measured by Western blot assay. The radiosensitizing effects in A549 cells and xen?ografts after PKM2 silencing were determined by colony?forming assay and xenografts growth curves. Autoph?agy formation in A549 cells and xenografts was analyzed by transmission electron microscopy, and the ex?pression level of PKM2 in xenografts was measured by immunohistochemistry. Comparison between groups was made by Student′s t?test, and the body weights of nude mice and xenograft volumes were subjected to a?nalysis of variance for continuous variables. Results Stable A549 cell lines transfected with pshRNA?PKM2 were successfully produced. Transfection with pshRNA?PKM2 significantly down?regulated PKM2 expression in A549 cells and xenografts (P= 0?? 001;P= 0?? 000). The sensitizer enhancement ratios for A549 cells and xenografts were 1?? 47 and 2?? 00, respectively. Interference with PKM2 expression enhanced radiation?in duced autophagy formation and significantly increased the ratio of LC 3 ? II / I ( P= 0.000 1 ) . Conclusions Silencing of PKM2 expression may enhance the radiosensitivity of A549 cells and xenografts by regulation of autophagy, which holds promise for becoming an effective radiosensitizing target for non?small cell lung canc?er, but still needs to be confirmed by further studies.

Three strains having degrading poly(?-hydroxybutyrate)(PHB) activity were isolated from activated sludge of different ecological environments and areas,named DS9701, DS9710 and DS9713.The properties of PHB depolymerase produced by DS9701, DS9710 and DS9713 were studied. All the PHB depolymerases are extracellular enzyme and are induced enzyme. The time that enzyme activities of the PHB depolymerases reach the maximum is 96 hours after inoculation. The apparent optimal temperature range for crude enzymes extract is 40℃～45℃.
