For probing into therapeutic effect, action, and proper and effective administration way of Jiang Ni Fu Sheng Liquid for treatment of acute cerebral hemorrhage, 150 cases were assigned at random to two groups to receive different therapies. Integral of hyponeuria, change of disturbance of consciousness, change of blood pressure, CT and clinical therapeutic effect were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. Results showed that the therapeutic effect in the treated group was obviously superior to that in the control group, with a markedly effective rate of 51. 1% and an effective rate of 90. 0%. It is suggested that Jiang Ni Fu Sheng Liquid has the action of relieving disturbance of consciousness, promoting recovery of nervous function, keeping stability of blood pressure, accelerating absorption of cerebral hemorrage, alleviating cerebral edema and hemorrhage of digestive tract, and so on.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic significance of ECG and coronary arteriography (CAG) in coronary heart disease in different age groups. Methods totally 216 cases of suspected or CAG-confirmed coronary heart disease were retrospectively analyzed. The non-elderly group included patients aged 45-59 years, and the elderly one was older than 60. Patients in each group were further divided into subgroup A and B with or without the pain in heart front area, respectively, accompanied by ST-T change in ECG. Comparative analysis of CAG and ECG changes was done between different age groups, and between subgroup A and B. The history of pain in heart front area, serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), platelet count (PLT), and fibrinogen (Fg) were also analyzed for clinical diagnosis. Results In the non-elderly, positive CAG was 88.8% in subgroup A while 56.3% in group B ( P0.05). TC, LDL-C, and Fg were significantly higher in subgroup A than in subgroup B for the elderly group. But in non-elderly, TC, TG, LDL-C, and Fg in subgroup A were significantly higher than those in subgroup B(all P0.05). The history of pain in heart front area was longer in the elderly, and also in this age group, more patients showed multivessel involvement. Conclusions ST-T change of ECG accompanied by classical pain in heart front area is more valuable than single ST-T change in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease, especially among non-elderly patients. ST-T change could not be used simply as a tool to diagnose coronary heart disease. The diagnosis should be made generally considering the typical symptom of the pain in heart front area, clinical history, TC, TG, LDL-C, and Fg. CAG could increase the positive diagnostic rate of coronary heart disease and decrease the rate of misdiagnosis as well.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Chinese Daoyingong method on knee osteoarthritis.Methods Eighty patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into the experiment group and control group in equal number.The control group was given the routine medicine combined with Chinese fumigation and the experiment group was treated with Chinese Daoyin method beside the treatment in the control group.The two groups were compared in terms of the score on visual analog scale of pain and the score on knee function before and after treatment.Results The visual analog scale of pain in the experiment group was significantly lower than that in the control group after intervention and the score on knee function was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.001). Conclusion The intervention with Chinese Daoyingong method plus routine medication and Chinese herbal fumigation is effective in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of rhubarb combined with Probiotics for treatment of patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) accompanied by acute lung injury (ALI). Methods A prospective randomized controlled trial was conducted. Sixty patients with SAP and ALI were randomly divided into a rhubarb group and a combination of rhubarb and Probiotics group (combined group), 30 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with conventional therapy. On that therapeutic base, the patients in rhubarb group were treated with rhubarb 3 g·kg-1·d-1 (Raw rhubarb in boiling water 200 mL was cooked for 30 minutes, then the decoction was divided into two parts to be infused through nasal jejunal tube, retaining for 1 hour);while in the combined group, beside the above rhubarb therapy, the patients were additionally given Probiotics [Clostridium butyric acid:Chang Lekang capsule, once 1 grain (0.42 g), twice a day] through nasal jejunal tube. The therapeutic course was 14 days in the two groups. The plasma endotoxin levels, oxygenation index, and acute physiology and chronic health evaluationⅡ(APACHEⅡ) score were observed before and after treatment for 7 days and 14 days, respectively. After treatment for 30 days, the time of intestine functional recovery and mechanical ventilation, number of damaged organs, number of infectious sites, number of pancreatic pseudocysts, length of intensive care unit (ICU) stay and 30-day fatality rate were observed in the two groups. Results With the prolongation of treatment, the plasma level of endotoxin and APACHEⅡscore in the two groups were gradually reduced, and the oxygenation index was gradually increased after treatment for 7 days and 14 days in the two groups compared with those before treatment, and there were statistically significant differences in above indexes on the 14th day after treatment between combined group and rhubarb group [endotoxin (μg/L): 19.16±1.90 vs. 21.20±1.05, oxygenation index (mmHg, 1 mmHg = 0.133 kPa): 369.50±5.45 vs. 341.50±7.36, APACHE Ⅱscore:11.84±0.60 vs. 13.00±0.86, P<0.05 or P<0.01]. The length of intestine functional recovery in the combined group was longer than that in the rhubarb group (days: 5.63±1.75 vs. 5.02±1.54), the number of damaged organs (2.08±0.74 vs. 2.70±1.11), the number of infectious sites (1.93±0.64 vs. 2.23±0.83), the number of pancreatic pseudocysts (1.22±0.34 vs. 1.63±0.11) and the mortality rate [10.0%(3/30) vs. 13.3%(4/30)] in the combined group were lower than those of the rhubarb group, but there were no statistically significant differences between two groups (all P > 0.05). The times of mechanical ventilation (days: 13.40±1.76 vs. 15.60±1.28) and the length of ICU stay (days:16.13±1.25 vs. 17.63±1.30) were significantly shorter in combined group than those in rhubarb group (both P<0.05). Conclusion Rhubarb combined with Probiotics for treatment of patients with SAP and ALI can promote their recovery of lung function and shorten their length of ICU stay.

Objective To Investigate the clinical relationship between the interstitial cystitis and female hormone imbalance.Methods A retrospective analysis of 58 cases of IC female patients in our hospital from January 2006 to April 2012.The patients' age ranged from 21 to 76 years,and the average age was 40.2±12.4 years old.The suffering time of disease ranged from 9 to 120 months,and the average duration was 64.3±55.7 months.At the 1st,12th,22th day of the menstrual cycle,the O'Leary-Sant and PUF questionnaires were used to score,in order to analyze the relationship between IC symptoms and the menstrual cycle.The symptoms scores between postmenopausal patients and No menopause patients were compared.At the same time,the medical records and follow-ups were reviewed for all patients.Results 51 cases of IC premenopausal female patients suffered more urinary frequency,urgency,and bladder pain during the menstrual period.The proportion respectively were 54.9 ％ (28/51),60.8％ (31/51).The O'Leary-Sant scores of the 1st day were more significant difference than the12th and the 22th day (P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference between the 12th day and the 22th day (P＞0.05).The PUF scores of the 1st day were significant different than the 12th and the 22th day (P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference between the 12th day and the 22th day (P＞0.05).The average scores of O'Leary-Sant and PUF in 7 postmenopausal patients were statistically significant lower than non-menopausal patients (P＜0.05).The incidence of 58 cases with uterine fibroids,breast hyperplasia,ovarian cysts,endometriosis (48.3％,41.4％,5.2％,13.8％) were higher than the average persons (P=0.001,0.460,0.001,0.048),which were significantly higher than the incidence of the general population (30.0％,40.0％,0.3％,7.0％) excepting breast hyperplasia.Conclusions The symptoms of urinary frequency,urgency,and bladder pain in IC patients were more serious during the menstrual period than the other periods.The symptoms of the non-postmenopausal patients were more serious than the postmenopausal patients.The incidence of IC patients associated with hormone imbalance diseases was higher than the general persons,indicating that the fluctuation of female hormone level was likely to be one cause of IC onset.

Objective To investigate the role of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A receptor (GABAAR) in lung tissues in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury in rats.Methods Thirty-two male Wistar rats,aged 8 weeks,weighing 200-230 g,were randomly divided into 4 groups (n =8 each) ∶ control group (group C),group LPS,GABA pretreatment + LPS group (group GABA) and GABAAR antagonist bicuculline pretreatment + LPS group (group BIC).Acute lung injury was induced by intravenous LPS 5 mg/kg in groups LPS,GABA and BIC,while the equal volume of normal saline was given in group C.GABA 50 mg/kg and bicuculline 10 μmol/kg were injected intraperitoneally 30 min before LPS injection in GABA and BIC groups,respectively.Arterial blood samples were collected at 6 h after LPS injection for measurement of arterial partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2).The animals were then sacrificed and lungs removed for determination of W/D lung weight ratio,GABAAR expression,contents of interleukin-6 (IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in lung tissues and for microscopic examination.Results Compared with group C,PaO2 was significantly decreased in the other three groups,and W/D lung weight ratio,TNF-α,IL-6 and MDA contents were significantly increased,GABAAR expression was up-regulated,and SOD activity was decreased in groups LPS and GABA (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with group LPS,W/D lung weight ratio,TNF-α,IL-6 and MDA contents were significantly increased,GABAAR expression was up-regulated,and SOD activity was decreased in group GABA (P ＜ 0.05),and no significant change was found in the parameters mentioned above in group BIC and in PaO2 in groups GABA and BIC (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion GABAA R in lung tissues is involved in the development of acute lung injury induced by LPS.

To synthesize salbutamol immunogen and develop an enzyme immunoassay (ELISA), a new salbutamol immunogen was synthesized using 4-aminobenzoic acid as a linker to connect hapten with carrier protein. An enzyme immunoassay based on the antibody prepared was developed and applied to detect salbutamol residue spiked in swine liver. An unusual coating antigen, clenbuterol-ovalbumin (OVA) conjugate instead of salbutamol-OVA conjugate, was used in the immunoassay and the results were discussed based on the structures of related compounds. The antibodies showed high sensitivity in the heterologous assay when using clenbuterol-OVA as a coating antigen, with an IC50 value of 8.97 ng mL(-1) toward salbutamol. The antibodies prepared showed high cross-reactivity with clenbuterol (107%) and were promising for the simultaneous determination of salbutamol and clenbuterol residues in food and food products. Recovery rates from the salbutamol-spiked swine liver samples were in the range of 70%-99%, while the intra-assay and inter-assay coefficients of variation were <13.3% and <14.3%, respectively. In summary, the antibodies of salbutamol have been successfully prepared. Sensitive and stable analysis for the detection of salbutamol residues in swine liver was obtained based on the competitive ELISA methods developed in this study.

Transgenic animal model provide a good platform to research the pathogenesis and therapy of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). To date, a number of BCR/ABL transgenic animal models have been established using different promoter or tetracycline-controlling system. Some of them appear the characteristics of human CML, which have contributed greatly to research the pathogenesis and therapy of CML. In this article, the researching progress, advantage and drawback, application of BCR/ABL transgenic animal model are reviewed.
