This study was aimed to define the scope of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) informatics standards. The basic construction of three-dimensional profiling framework includes TCM business domain, elements of TCM informationization and specificity level. The clinical informatics standards development was stated as an example to demonstrate the application method of this three-dimensional profiling framework.

Objective To investigate the incidence of renal injury caused by strong intensity military training in the navy.Methods One thousand three hundred and twenty servicemen of the navy were enrolled in the present study including 568 recruits and 752 veterans.Urine protein and hemoglobin were determined using the dry chemistry method after a five-kilometer armed field race.Urine samples were collected and centrifuged for erythrocyte count under microscope after training.Retinol binding protein(RBP) and N-acetyl-?-D-glucosaminidase(NAG) were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Detection of creatine kinase(CK) above 950U/L was assumed to be rhabdomyolysis positive.Results The average incidence of hematuria,hemoglobinuria and proteinuria was 2.1%,7.4% and 44 %,respectively,and the incidence of abnormal RBP and NAG was 57.3% and 57.1%,respectively.Significant difference in each of the indexes existed between the recruits and veterans(P

We have trcated 40 cases of active peptic ulcer with Omeprazolc from Jun. 1990 to Mar. 1991. Compared with it, We have treated 40 cases of active peptic ulcer with Ranitidine during the same time. 80 patients with active peptic ulcer were divided into two groups. The age, scx and size of ulcer between the two groups have been compared. The ulcer diameter was from 3 to 20mm. The number of the ulcer was from 1 to 5.40 patients were treated with Omeprazole 20～40mg p. o. everyday. After a course of two weeks trcatment, the healing rate was 95%; 40 patients were treated with Ranitidine 300mg p. o. everday. [Objective]To analyze the biodegradation properties and active osteogenesis features of implanted composites of gelatin microspheres(GMs) impregnated with calcium phosphate cement(CPC) and recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2(rhBMP-2) in bone defect.[Method]rhBMP-2 loaded gelatin microspheres was incorporated in rhBMP-2/CPC during setting.Thirty rabbits were divided into groups A,B and C(10 each).The rhBMP-2/GMs /CPC,GMs/cpc and rhBMP-2/cpc was implanted into the rabbits of group A,B and C,respectively.The biodegradation properties and active osteogenesis features of implanted composites bone substitute was evaluated by radiography,histology,bone mineral density(BMD)after the composites were implanted into the bone defects at rabbit radius for 6,12 weeks respectively.[Result]Significant implant resorption and bone ingrowth were observed in all rhBMP-2/GM/CPC treated defects while the defects treated with rhBMP-2/CPC implants showed slight resorption of CPC and the defects treated with GM/CPC implants showed slight formation of new bone.[Conclusion]The result of this study suggested that the rhBMP-2/GMs/CPC composite could be used as material for bone graft substitute.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare compound Weifu emulsion and to observe its therapeutic effect on infantile eczema METHODS:The emulsion was prepared with a formulation consisting of Scutellaria,Chinese Angelica,Chuanxiong and dimethyl silicone oil etc and the quality control method was established RESULTS & CONCLUSION:This preparation is stable in quality and feasible in quality control;The effective rate in treating infantile eczema has reached 90% and no obvious adverse reactions were found This emulsion is worthy of recommendation for clinical use

Alzheimer's diseases (AD) is a slowly progressive neurodegenerative disease. The pathogenesis of AD is complex and there is no effective medicine for AD. Catalpol is a kind of iridoid compound, it has neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory and antiaging activities based on cell and animal models of AD. These findings indicate that catalpol may be a potential anti-AD drug. This paper aims to review the advances of catalpol effects on cell and animal models of AD and could provide clue for the research and development of AD drugs.

Objective To investigate the new method of ureter bladder anastomosis in renal transplantation.Methods The ureter was pulled into bladder for 1.2 cm through tunnel at the lateral- top of bladder wall,and the ureter fixed on the bladder wall by 2-3 acus with catgut suture.Results Forty of 42 patients had no complications,and recovered very well,except for 1 cases of necrosis caused by acute rejection and 1 case on urine leakage caused by catheter obstruction from blood clot.Conclu- sion This method is simple,easy to operate,safe and reliable with less complications.
