Histones can be released into the extracellular space,and lead to lethal sepsis, ischemia reperfusion injury, trauma, pancreatitis, coagulation and thrombosis.In addition, the increase of serum histone is related to the pathological and pathophysiological process of autoimmune diseases, nervous system diseases and tumors.Therefore, extracellular histone can be used as biomarkers and therapeutic targets for a variety of human diseases.

Objective To realize job satisfaction of doctors from the secondary hospital and its influencing factors and put forward countermeasures for doctor job satisfaction.Methods 2066 doctors from the secondary hospital were investigated by self-made scale,and analyzed by analysis of variance,non-conditional logistic regression analysis and other methods.Results The average score of total job satisfaction of doctors was (3.44±0.95),in which about 57.6% of doctors expressed satisfaction with the current work.The scale of job itself satisfaction had the hisheet score,that was (3.91±0.79),while the scale of job retum satisfaction had the lowest score,that was (2.85±1.16).Leadership behavior played the most decisive role in doctors job satisfaction(sβ=0.7,P<0.01).Condusion The total job satisfaction of secondary hospital doctors is just above the average and doctors are most dissatisfied with the work concentrated in the areas of return and the practice environment.

ObjectiveTo analyze the association between the outcome of exophthalmos and the curative effect of hyperthyroidism in Graves disease after 131I therapy.Methods Five hundred and thirty-eight cases of Graves disease accompanied with exophthalmos and hyperthyroidism who received 131I therapy from January 2001 to January 2010 were reviewed retrospectively,and the association between the outcome of exophthalmos and the curative effect of hyperthyroidism was analyzed.ResultsThe effective rate of hyperthyroidism after 131I therapy was 94.8％ (510/538).The effective rate of exophthalmos after 131I therapy was 73.2％(394/538).And the effective rate of hyperthyroidism with exophthalmos was 71.6％ (385/538).The incidence of improvement,inefficiency,exacerbation was 75.5％ (385/510),21.0％ (107/510),3.5％( 18/510) in hyperthyroidism effective patients ( 510 cases ) and 32.1％ ( 9/28 ),50.0％ ( 14/28 ),17.9％ ( 5/28 )in hyperthyroidism ineffective and recrudescence patients(28 cases),there was significant difference between the two patients (P ＜ 0.05 ).The incidences of improvement,inefficiency,exacerbation were 78.1％(281/360),18.9％(68/360),3.1％(11/360) in hyperthyroidism cured patients(360 cases),78.2％(36/46),17.4％ (8/46),4.3％ (2/46) in hypothyroidism patients(46 cases),there was no significant difference between the two (P ＞ 0.05 ).The incidence of improvement,inefficiency,exacerbation was 86.4％ ( 229/265 ),9.8％(26/265 ),3.8％( 10/265 ) in mild exophthalmos after 131I therapy(265 cases),59.9％(106/177),35.6％(63/177),4.5％(8/177) in moderate and severe inactive exophthalmos after 131I therapy( 177 cases),there were significant differences in the inciclence of improvement and inefficiency between the two patients (P＜0.05).For patients with moderate and severe active exophthalmos,glucocorticoids therapy could obtain satisfactory effect.Conclusion131I therapy is an effective method for Graves disease with exophthalmos,and there is a significant association between the outcome of exophthalmos and the curative effect of hyperthyroidism.

Analysis was conducted and rights concerning teachers,students and patients in practice teaching was defined from the perspectives of medicine,pedagogy,ethnics and law through investigating on reasons leading to problems and conflicts in medical universities' practice right.Effective solutions were proposed from the examination of doctor' s qualification,law and pedagogy.Standardization and legalization of clinical teaching was promoted from the perspective of ethnics.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic values of MRA,TCD and ultrasonography in carotid territory transient ischemic attacks (TIAs). Methods 42 patients with carotid territory TIAs were examined by MRA, TCD and ultrasonography. Results MRA showed abnormalities of carotid arteries in 12 cases (28.6%) and abnormalities of intracranial arteries in 32 cases (76.2%). 8 cases presented abnormalities both in carotid arteries and intracranial arteries. Abnormalities of intracranial arteries were detected by TCD in 30 cases (71.4%) and abnormalities of carotid arteries were detected by ultrasonography in 16 cases (38.1%).Conclusion MRA, TCD and ultrasonography are useful in the evaluation of etiological factors of carotid territory TIAs.

Acute kidney injury (AKI), a common clinical dis-ease, is one complex pathophysiological process. In this review paper, the relationship and the molecular mechanisms of ische-mia-reperfusion, major surgery, rhabdomyolysis, pus sepsis and drug-induced renal toxicity associated with AKI were comprehen-sively reviewed. In addition, the prevention and treatment of AKI by Chinese medicine and the effective components were also reviewed. Therefore, our review aims to provide valuable infor-mation for treatment of AKI, and also for exploration of innova-tive new drugs.

Aim To apply simple combined models to screen small molecule BDNF-like compounds for potential pharmacotherapy of central nerve degenerative diseases.Methods BDNF-like bioactivities were dentified with effects against apoptosis induced by serum withdrawal in turn in cultured human SH-SY5y cells,rat NIH3T3/trkB cells vs NIH3T3 cells,using MTT technique.Results More than 400 compounds were tested by using these methods.11 of them presented protective effects on apoptosis induced by serum withdrawal in SH-SY5y cells.2 of them also provided selective protection against apoptosis induced in NIH3T3/trkB cells versus in NIH3T3 cells,which were identified as BDNF-like compounds.Further study showed that these 2 compounds could withstand SH-SY5y cell injuries induced by 6-OHDA.Conclusion All the above studies provide a useful series of simple models for BDNF-like drug screen and some compound candidates for further study of neuroprotection.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of implanted drug delivery system (DDS) in patients with inoperable pancreatic carcinoma.Methods During 1998 to 2004,145 patients with no indication for operation were randomly divided into two groups.In 73 patients with regional interventional chemotherapy group (group A),percutaneous left subclavain artery port-catheter DDS implantation with the tip in common hepatic artery was performed, and regional chemotherapy infusion were done in every 1 to 2 month. In 72 patients with systemic chemotherapy group (group B), the chemotherapy were given via peripheral vein in every 1 to 2 month. The FAM(adriamycin 40 mg/m2+mitomycin 6 mg/m2+fluorouracil 375 mg/m2) were selected in two groups. Results In group A, after 2-10 (average 7.6) cycles of chemotherapy, 4 patients reached complete release (CR) and 49 patients reached partial release (PR). In group B, after 1-7 (average 3.8) cycles of chemotherapy, no patient reached CR and 25 patients reached PR. The effective ratio was 60.2% and 34.7% in group A and B, respectively. The survival time ranged from 3 to 34 months (median 13.5 months) in group A and 1 to 13 months (median 6.2 months) in group B. Among the 56 patients with obstinate pain in group A, 27 patients were free of pain and 22 patients got partially alleviation 2-3 weeks after chemotherapy. Among the 54 patients with obstinate pain in group B, 11 patients were free of pain and 14 patients got partially alleviation 2-3 weeks after chemotherapy. The pain-releasing ratio in group A and group B was 87.5% and 46.3%. There were no severe damage of liver, kidney, heart and bone marrow in group A. Twenty five patients in group A experienced mild digestive side-effect and decrease of white blood cells, all of them completed the chemotherapy. In group B, 3 patients experienced bone marrow arrest, one died of severe damage of liver and kidney, and 67 patients displayed digestive side-effect and decrease of white blood cells. Objective: To study stress distribution and displacement by different distract directioos on mandibular corpus with finite element method. Methods:A three-dimensional finite element model of mandibular distraction osteogenesis was established.Von Mises stress as well as the displac ement of gnathion and gonion under different loads were measured. Result s:The stress and displacement were positively related with distract forc e. Von Mises stress primarily accumulated in distracted areas and were higher un der bilateral distraction parallel to the occlusial plane. Gnathion and gonion w ere positively displaced on X and Z axes and negatively displaced on Y axis. Distraction parallel to the mandibular body induced positive displaceme nt of mandible on X and Y axes and negative on Z axis. Concl usion:Transversal displacement to the opposite side is greater during un ilateral distraction, while displacement on the saggittal plane is greater durin g bilateral distraction.
