1.Matrix metalloproteinase-9 and blood-brain barrier damage and neurovascular remodeling after cerebral ischemia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2014;22(8):629-632
Matrix metalloproteinase-9 plays an important role in the blood-brain barrier disruption.Blood-brain barrier disruption may directly influence the neurovascuiar unit repair after cerebral ischemia. An in-depth study of matrix metalloproteinase-9-mediated ischemic brain damage and neurovascular remodeling is expected to open up a new way for the diagnosis and treatment of cerebral ischemia in clinical practice.
2.Determination of Ferulic Acid in Jiegu Capsule by RP-HPLC
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(04):-
Objective To establish a method for determination of Ferulic acid in Jiegu Capsule. Method The samples were determined by RP-HPLC on a Hypersil C18 column (4.6 mm?250 mm, 5 ?m). The mobile phase consisted of methanol and 1% acetic acid (33∶67). The detection wavelength was at 320 nm and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Results The calibration curves of Ferulic acid was linear in the range of 6~60 ?g/mL (r =0.999 9). The average recovery was 99.6% and RSD was 1.8%. Conclusion The method is simple and accurate, which can be used for the quality control of Jiegu Capsule.
3.Practice and reflection of management and control on the risk of enterprises-funded scientific research projects in hospitals based on the contract
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2016;29(6):409-411,415
There are some risk points in the management process of enterprises-funded research project, such as verification of the qualification of the client, the audit of the contract, the report of the research results, and the protection of intellectual property. This paper puts forward the management mode of the research project, which is based on the contract management, strengthen the management of enterprises-funded research project from every processes the contract develop, sign, fulfill and delivery.
4. Advances in the role of Dickkopf (DKK1) in myeloma bone disease and its targeted therapy
Tumor 2011;31(3):273-276
Myeloma bone disease (MBD) with the characteristic of progressing osteolysis, is one of the main clinical manifestations of multiple myeloma (MM). In recent years, it was revealed that a kind of glycoprotein - Dickkopf (DKK1) associated with embryonic development and tumor progression can inhibit the Wnt signal pathway. The DKK1 efficacy in inhibiting the steoblasts and activating the osteoclasts appears to play an important role in MBD. The ongoing MBD-targeting therapies involving DKK1 neutralizing antibody, proteasome inhibitor, vaccine and regulatory factor on the basis of this mechanism have shown some benefit for MBD. Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(5):759-765
BACKGROUND:Acute pancreatitis is a common inflammatory disease mediated by pancreatic acinar cel s injury, and is mainly characterized by leukocyte infiltration. N-acetylcysteine can control leukocyte migration and regulate inflammation in some serious inflammatory diseases. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the protective effects of N-acetylcysteine in rat model of acute pancreatitis caused by sodium taurocholate. METHODS:Ninety Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups:normal control group, acute pancreatitis group and N-acetylcysteine group. Except normal control group, acute pancreatitis model was established in the other two groups by retrograde injection of sodium taurocholate into major duodenal papil a. Rats in the N-acetylcysteine group were treated with N-acetylcysteine intravenously through the tail vein. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After acute pancreatitis model was established, plasma amylase levels in the models were significantly higher than that in the normal control rats (P<0.05). Interleukin-1β,-6,-10, and tumor necrosis factorαexpression levels were also obviously higher than that in the normal control rats (P<0.05). Immunohistochemical staining demonstrated that N-acetylcysteine was mainly expressed in the islet cel s, and the pancreatic expression of N-acetylcysteine was down-regulated at both the mRNA and protein levels during the course of acute pancreatitis. N-acetylcysteine administration significantly reduced plasma amylase levels, myeloperoxidase activity, pro-inflammatory cytokine production, and pancreas and lung tissue damages. Furthermore, N-acetylcysteine administration did not cause significant inhibition of nuclear factor-κB activation in the pancreas. N-acetylcysteine is capable of improving damage of pancreas and lung, and exerting anti-inflammatory effects in rats with severe acute pancreatitis.

It has proved to be difficult for administrators of scientific research to improve process management, especially to manage cooperative research projects accomplished by various institutions. In this paper,we took the process management of Scientific Research in Public Interest (SRI-PI) based on a Grade 3A hospital and other 19 institutions as an example,to analyze the application of PDCA cycle in projects management. It is concluded that the comprehensive quality management of research projects should follow the scientific procedure of PDCA cycle.

There are different degrees of cardiac allograft vasculopathy in patients with long term cardiac transplantation. Coronary angiography shows partial or diffuse coronary artery stenosis, which is one of the main causes of death. There are few typical symptoms of angina pectoris because of no autonomic innervation in transplanted heart. The first symptom to the end of the disease is severe congestive heart failure or arrhythmia. So the principles of diagnosis and treatment in long-term survivors should be in accordance with the coronary heart disease treatment. In this paper, we reported a case of anesthesia of a patient underwent stent implantation for abdominal aortic aneurysm after 8 years of cardiac transplantation. The preoperative preparation and perioperative management were performed according to the principle of coronary heart disease. The patient passed through the perioperative period safely.
