Objective To explore the evaluation of tumor specific growth factor (TSGF) ,alpha‐fetoprotein (AFP) and vascular endothelial cell growth factor(VEGF) levels in therapeutic effect of primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC) .Methods Serum TSGF , AFP and VEGF levels were detected on 1 d before treatment ,4 ,28 d after treatment in 75 patients with PHC .The relation between serum VEGF with AFP on 1 d before treatment was analyzed .Results The levels of serum TSGF ,AFP and VEGF on 4 ,28 d after treatment in 75 cases of PHC were significantly lower than those on 1 d before treatment ,the difference was statistically significant (P< 0 .05) .The VEGF level had no statistical difference between the patients with AFP ≥ 400 ng/mL and the patients with AFP <400 ng/mL(P> 0 .05) .Conclusion TSGF ,AFP and VEGF can serve as the indicators for evaluating PHC prognosis .

OBJECTIVE:To establish quality criteria for Bushenqiangshen capsule. METHODS:TLC was employed to identify Herba Epimedii and Fructus Ligustri Lucidi. HPLC was applied for the determination of content of Icariin. The chromatographic separation was performed on octadecylsilane chemically bonded silica packed column (250mm?4.6mm,5?m). The mobile phase was composed of acetonitrile and methyl alcohol (30∶70) at a flow rate of 1.0mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was 270nm and the column temperature was 30℃. RESULTS:Herba Epimedii and Fructus Ligustri Lucidi were well-separated and clear spots were noted in their TLC. The linear range of icariin was 0.266 4～0.932 4?g (r=0.999 9,n=6), and the average recoveries was 99.77%(RSD=1.89%). CONCLUSION:The established criteria can be used for the quality control of Bushenqiangshen capsules.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality criteria for Xiaoyan tablets. METHODS: Herba Taraxaci and Herba Violae in the formula were identified qualitatively by TLC and the content of Baicalin was determined by HPLC on Zorbax SB-C18(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.4%H3PO4(24∶76) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm and the column temperature was set at room temperature. RESULTS: Herba Taraxaci and Herba Violae could be detected by TLC. The linear range of Baicalin was 0.08～2.49 ?g(r=0.999 9). The average recovery rate was 100.24%(RSD=1.52%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The establish criteria are suitable for the quality control of Xiaoyan tablets.

OBJECTIVE:To provide references for avoiding "government malfunction" in the transition stage of pharmaceutical industry in China and to enhance the efficacy of government control.METHODS:The manifestation and cause of government malfunction in the transition stage of pharmaceutical industry in China were analyzed,and the countermeasures aimed at the problems were put forward.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:To avoid government malfunction arose from power rent-seeking,governments' low efficiency imperfect price system etc so as to guarantee a smooth transition of pharmaceutical industry,the function of government should be altered,the efficiency of government should be improved and reasonable drug price management system should be established.

OBJECTIVE To explore the causes, predilection sites and treatment of nasal sinus mucoceles after hypophysectomy.METHODS The clinical data of 7 cases with nasal sinus mucoceles after hypophysectomy diagnosed and treated in our Department from Jan.1998 to Aug.2007 were retrospectively studied.RESULTS The mucoceles were located at ethmoid sinus in 2 cases,frontal sinus in 2 cases,frontal and ethmoid sinuses in 3 cases.All of the 7 cases underwent mucocelectomy under nasal endoscope or a combined endoscopic intranasal and extra-nasal approach.No recurrence was found after follow up for 1 to 3 years.CONCLUSION The causes of nasal sinus mucoceles after hypophysectomy are the change of the anatomic structure of nasal cavity after surgery.The stenosis,adhesion of middle nasal meatus or obstruction of the sinus ostium are found in all the patients.Intranasal endoscopic surgery or combined with extra-nasal approach is the first choice for nasal sinus mucoceles.

Objective To compare the allodynic effect of intrathecal nociceptin between Swiss albino and C57 BL mice. Methods The allodynic effect was evaluated by allodynic scores by light touching using paintbrush. The allodynic effect of intrathecal nociceptin was observed over 50 min after injection in two mouse strains in a double blind manner. Results The allodynia induced by nociceptin lasted for 50 min in Swiss albino and no dose-response relationship was observed from dose 5 fmol- 50 pmol per mouse. In C57 BL mice, allodynic effect lasted for 30 min and showed a bell-shaped dose-response curve from dose 10 frnol-1 nmol per mouse. Conclusion These results demonstrate that the allodynic eflect of intrathecal nociceptin is different between strains.

OBJECTIVE:To discuss the necessity and rationality of drug manufacturing market access system in China and to introduce the economic value of which so as to provide references for its promotion and evolvement.METHODS:Model was built by applying regulation theory and the qualitative and quantitative investigation and analysis of which were carried out.RESULTS &CONCLUSION:Drug manufacturing market access system in China is essential,access control of which should be strengthened.
