Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2009;0(23):-
OBJECTIVE To prevent and control hospital cross-infection and hematogenous disease dissemination during oral cavity procedures.METHODS The problems that existed universally in instrument treating processes during oral cavity procedures were taken seriously. The perfect management rules and regulations were established. The instructions of technical operation were carried out strictly. We strengthened own-self occupation protection and implemented the standard prevention isolation principle. We guaranteed oral cavity synthesis method to implement, such as the instrument cleaning, disinfection, and antiseptic quality.RESULTS The hospital infection occurred in the oral cavity procedures could be reduced and avoided fundamentally through implementing infection control measure. The medical safety could be ensured.CONCLUSIONS The personnel standard diagnosing and treating operation of medical care should be established in hospital. The idea of disinfection and isolation asepsis should be enhanced.Own-self occupation protection must be required strictly. It is extremely important to control the infection during the oral cavity procedures.

The contents of the components in waste eel bone from roast eel were determined. Optimal conditions for extracting eel bone oil from waste eel bone as raw material, purifing the polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) concentrates from eel bone oil via salt-forming with urea complexation, and preparation of microcapsules containig PUFA concentrates from eel bone oil by spray drying were investigated systematically. The results showed that the technique was easy to carry out, the complete yield for extracting eel bone oil was above 76%, the contents of EPA and DHA in PUFA purified from eel bone oil increased from 7. 4% to about 45%, the recovery of EPA plus DHA was 64% , the content of PUFA from eel bone oil in the microcapsuls was about 26. 2%, and its antioxidative stability was higher than that of mixture of PUFA concentrates without capsulizing.

Objective To assess the effect of relaxation training combined with listening to music on postoperative rehabilitation of patients with liver cancer. Methods Patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria (52 cases) were divided into the experimental group and the control group with 26 cases in each group. The control group received routine postoperative nursing. The experimental group was given relaxation training combined with listening to music based upon routine nursing. The pain degree, time of ambulation, recovery of gastrointestinal function and bladder function and related postoperative complica-tions were compared between the two groups. Results The experimental group had less pain, earlier time of ambulation, shorter time for recovery of gastrointestinal function, indwelling gastric tube and urinary catheter(P < 0.01 ).Incidence rate of incision, bile leakage and intra-abdominal hemorrhage were not statis-tically different between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Relaxation training combined with lis-tening to music can facilitate the postoperative rehabilitation process of patients with liver cancer.

In this paper, in vitro anti-influenza virus activities of sulfated polysaccharide fractions from Gracilaria lemaneiformis were investigated. Cytotoxicities and antiviral activities of Gracilaria lemaneiformis polysaccharides (PGL), Gracilaria lemaneiformis polysaccharide fraction-1 (GL-1), Gracilaria lemaneiformis polysaccharide fraction-2 (GL-2) and Gracilaria lemaneiformis polysaccharide fraction-3 (GL-3) were studied by the Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) method, and the inhibitory effect against Human influenza virus H1-364 induced cytopathic effect (CPE) on MDCK cells were observed by the CPE method. In addition, the antiviral mechanism of PGL was explored by Plaque forming unit (PFU), MTT and CPE methods. The results showed: i) Cytotoxicities were not significantly revealed, and H1-364 induced CPE was also reduced treated with sulfated polysaccharide fractions from Gracilaria lemaneiformis; ii) Antiviral activities were associated with the mass percentage content of sulfate groups in polysaccharide fractions, which was about 13%, in polysaccharides (PGL and GL-2) both of which exhibited higher antiviral activity; iii) A potential antiviral mechanism to explain these observations is that viral adsorption and replication on host cells were inhibited by sulfated polysaccharides from Gracilaria lemaneiformis. In conclusion, Anti-influenza virus activities of sulfated polysaccharide fractions from Gracilaria lemaneiformis were revealed, and the antiviral activities were associated with content of sulfate groups in polysaccharide fractions.

Objective To study the antitumor effect and the mechanism of the polysaccharide from Gloipeltis furcata on H_(22),tumor bearing mice. Methods The polysaccharides from Gloipeltis furcata were administered by oral route in mice bearing H_(22) tumor. The treatments lasted for 7 days. The inhibition rate against H_(22) tumor and the indices of thymus, spleen and liver were measured. In addition, the levels of antibodies against H_(22) tumor and GPT in serum, and GPT,GOT,MDA and SOD in liver were measured using commercially available kits. Results The administration of the polysaccharides from Gloipeltis furcata(200 mg?kg~(-1)?d~(-1) and 400 mg?kg~(-1)?d~(-1) ) for 7 days, the inhibition rates of H_(22) tumor were 35.64%(P

OBJECTIVE To discuss the possibility of HBV contaminating environment and transmission through the polluted surroundings. METHODS On the basis of that ascertain the contaminated environment by HBV marker(HBVM) and the relationship between HBVM and HBV infectivity in the blood,to discuss the probability of HBV contaminating and be spreading through the circumstance. RESULTS The positive rate of HBsAg and HBeAg was 26.39% and 11.11%,respectively in these specimens. While all of samples in control group were negative. The HBV DNA positive rate was 73.72% and 100.00%,respectively in the positive blood specimens of HBsAg and HBeAg.The infectivity was 0-10~9 and 10~2-10~9 ID/ml,respectively. CONCLUSIONS The blood worktable surface is contaminated by HBVM.The pollution is from patients′ blood. So the probability exists that HBV is transmitted through environment pollution.

Objective To investigate the antitumor effects of phycoerythrin from Gracilaria lemaneiftheormis. Methods The coarse phycoerythrin(CPE) was ig administered to sarcoma180 mice, then the antitumor effect of CPE in vivo was evaluated by the inhibition rate, thymus and spleen indexes. The growth inhibitory effect of phycoerythrin(PE) on cell lines HeLa,EC109,and vascular endothelial in vitro was examined with MTT assay.Influences on HeLa cell cycle and apoptosis of PE were observed by flow cytometry and annexin v-fitc/PI fluorescence staining. Results CPE exhibited inhibitory effect against sarcoma180 growth in mice at the dosage of 100~300 mg?kg-1with a fair dose-effect relationship, and the inhibitory rate was 49.23% at the dosage of 300 mg? kg-1.CPE could also obviously increase the weight of thymus;PE could obviously inhibit the growth of HeLa cell in a dose-effect relationship, the inhibitory rate could reach more than 70%.It could prevent the transforming of HeLa cell cycle from G2/M to S phase to cause apoptosis. But PE couldn't inhibit the growth of EC109 cell, while some growth stimulating effects of PE on vascular endothelial cell were observed. Conclusion The PE from Gracilaria lemaneiftheormis could observably inhibit sarcoma180 growth in vivo.Effects of PE on different cells in vitro were differ, but showed potent inhibitory effect to HeLa cell.
