OBJECTIVE To investigate the trend of distribution and drug resistance of clinical isolates of Enterobacter cloacae during the last three years in our hospital. METHODS Strains collected from daily specimens were identified and drug resistantce with SENSITITRE bacteria analysis system. RESULTS The most strains were isolated from samples of sputum, urine, nad other excretion. The drug resistance rates to imipenem and cefepime were less than 32%. Cefoxitin, ampicillin and cefazolin were ineffective to contralE. cloacae. The drug resistance rates to penicillins, cephalosporins, chloramphenicol and aminoglycoside antibiotics increased more than 20% in last three years. CONCLUSIONS E. cloacae is multiple-resistant to antibiotics and displays higher levels of antibiotic resistance. It is suggested that antibiotics be used reasonably under the guidance of antibiotic susceptibility testing.

Objective To investigate the reliable parameters of the efficacy of CRT on patients with CHF evaluated by 3D-STI. Methods Thirty-six patients with CHF were performed by three-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (3D-STI) before and at one week, one month and three months after CRT, respectively. The left ventricular end systolic volume (3D-LVESV), the left ventricular ejection fraction (3D-LVEF) and the left ventricular dys-synchrony parameters which include the standard deviation of time to peak (AT-SD) and the maximum difference of time to peak (AT-Dif) of radial strain, circumferential strain and area tracking in the 16 left ventricular segments and the changes of 3D-LVESV, 3D-LVEF (ΔLVEF), AT-SD (ΔAT-SD) and AT-Dif (ΔAT-Dif) at 3 months after CRT were determined. Forty normal volunteers as the controls were performed 3D-STI only once. Results AT-SD, AT-Dif of three kinds of strain, LVESV of the patients in both effective and non-effective groups were significantly higher than those in the control group before CRT (P < 0.05). AT-SD, AT-Dif of three kinds of strain in the CRT effective group were significantly higher than those in the CRT non-effective group , whereas 3D-LVESV and 3D-LVEF were not significantly different between these two groups before CRT. For the CRT effective group, one week after CRT, all of the left ventricular dyssynchrony parameters were decreased (P < 0.05, respectively). For the CRT non-effective group, the changes of total assessment parameters after CRT were not significant (P > 0.05). ΔAT-SD and ΔAT-Dif were negatively correlated with ΔLVEF. Conclusion 3D-STI can efficiently evaluate the short-term efficacy of CRT , and the area tracking is a reliable parameter to predict and assess CRT efficacy.

This article was aimed to study the characteristics of intestinal cancer by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) based on the scale-free network analysis method. History information of 145 hospitalized cases from 2008 to 2011 was collected from the Oncology Department, Guang A nmen Hospital, in the clinical collection system. The rule of medication in the treatment of intestinal cancer by TCM was explored by scale-free network analysis method from several aspects, such as effects, classification and compatibility relations. The analysis results of 145 intestinal cancer cases showed that strengthening the body resistance was the main treatment principle. Si-Jun-Zi (SJZ) decoc-tion was used with the highest frequency. In the prescription design, qi-supplementing herbs were the most. The heat-clearing, dampness-eliminating, qi-regulating, blood-activating and stasis-removing, food stagnation removing and phlegm-removing herbs were also used frequently. The TCM treatment and syndrome differentiation will be changed due to the treatment and disease stages. It was concluded that scale-free network analysis method is able to relatively show the TCM treatment rule of intestinal cancer quantificationally and intuitively.

Objective To provide guidance for reconstructing the sensation of the anterolateral thigh flap (ALTF) used to repair extensive soft tissue defects in heel. Methods Choose 7 adult male corpses, take the nerval samples respectively from the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve (LFCN) 5cm below the anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS) and the initial segment of the medial caleaneal nerve (MCN) and the lateral calcaneal nerve (LCN), fixed, dewatered gradiendy, embedded, located, and made them into semithin sections, dyed with toluidine blue. The pictures were taken by a medicine figure imaging analysis system named MOTICMED 6.0, observe the nerves's sectional morphous, the quantity and distribution of their nerve fiber bundles, count the quantity of nerve fibers and determine the density of them. Use Photoshop 7.0 version precinct software for measuring and calculating the area of the nerve fiber bundles and the Photoshop grid function was used to measure the density of the nerve fibers. Results In our cross-section study, the median number of nerve bunches in LFCN, MCN and LCN1, was 4, 3 and 4, respectively. The median number of nerve fibers' area was 114.8 um2, 126.92 um2 and 102.76um2, respectively. The median number of nerve fibers' density was 11.43/um2, 6.47/um2 and 10.08/um2, respectively. The median number of nerve fibers was 987, 862 and 570, respectively. Conclusion The MCN and the LCN1 are ideal cutaneous nerves to suture with LFCN in the ALTF used to repair widespread soft tissue defects in heel because they have similar histomorphological characteristics with the LFCN.

To obtain the P8 protein of Rice gall dwarf virus (RGDV) with biological activity, its outer coat protein gene S8 was expressed in Spodoptera frugiperda (Sf9) insect cells using the baculovirus expression system. The S8 gene was subcloned into the pFastBacTM1 vector, to produce the recombinant baculovirus transfer vector pFB-S8. After transformation, pFB-S8 was introduced into the competent cells (E. coli DH10Bac) containing a shuttle vector, Bacmid, generating the recombinant bacmid rbpFB-S8. After being infected by recombinant baculovirus rvpFB-S8 at different multiplicities of infection, Sf9 cells were collected at different times and analyzed by SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and immunofluorescence microscopy. The expression level of the P8 protein was highest between 48-72 h after transfection of Sf9 cells. Immunofluorescence microscopy showed that P8 protein of RGDV formed punctate structures in the cytoplasm of Sf9 cells.

This article was aimed to study medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the treatment of gastric cancer. The history information of 111 hospitalized cases from 2008 to 2011 was collected from the Department of Oncology of Guang'anmen Hospital with the clinical collection system. The medication rules in the treatment of gastric cancer by TCM were explored by the scale-free network analysis from several aspects, such as effects, classifications and compatibility relations of Chinese medicine. The analysis result of 111 gastric cancer cases showed that strengthening the body resistance was the main treatment principle. Liujunzi decoction was the most frequently used prescription. In TCM compatibility, deficiency-nourishing herbs were the main ingredients, especiallyqi-supplementing herbs which take the first place in the prescription. And the heat-reducing herbs, dampness-eliminating herbs, blood-activating and stasis-eliminating herbs, food stagnation resolving herbs and qi regulation herbs were also used in the combination. Core herbs in the prescription for the treatment of gastric cancer were Tuckahoe, Codonopsis pilosula, Astragalus root, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Fructus Aurantii, Nidus Vespae and etc. TCM treatment, syndrome differentiation and medication are varied according to different therapeutic stages and disease stages. The result showed that scale-free network analysis had certain significance in the understanding of medication rules of TCM treatment of gastric cancer.
