Objective To observe the clinical effect of nasal douche washing and nasal cleaning under the endoscope treatment for sinusitis after nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy.Methods Thirtyeighty cases of sinusitis after nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy was treated by nasal douche washing and nasal cleaning under the endoscope.The course of treatment were for 6 months.The clinical effect were evaluated with the chronic sinusitis visual analogue scale(VAS)and Lund-Mackey nasal sinuses CT image mark system before and after treatment.Results After treatment for 6 months,the VAS scores and LundMackey nasal sinuses CT image mark system scores significantly decreased compared with before treatment [(8.21 ± 1.57)scores vs.(3.01 ± 1.16)scores,(7.37 ± 1.44)scores vs.(3.23 ± 1.07)scores](P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The nasal douche washing and nasal cleaning under the endoscope treatment for sinusitis after nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy has positive clinical effect,which is a better treatment method.

Objective To analyze the relationship between HBsAg level and HBV DNA level as well as illness severity in patients with HBV-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF).Methods One hundred and nineteen patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB group) and 98 patients with ACLF(ACLF group) were enrolled.HBsAg and HBeAg were assayed with Roche electrochemical luminescence method.HBV DNA was quantified using a real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay.HBsAg and HBV DNA levels were compared between two groups and between HBeAg-positive and HBeAg-negative patients in ACLF group respectively,also the correlationbetween HBsAg and HBV DNA was studied.Results The proportions of HBeAg-negative patients were 68.4％(67/98) and 42.9％(51/119) in ACLF group and CHB group respectively,and there was significant difference between two groups (P ＜0.01).There was no significant difference in HBV DNA between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).HBV DNA in HBeAg-positive patients was higher than that in HBeAg-negative patients in two groups(P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in HBsAg between HBeAg-positive patients and HBeAg-negative patients in ACLF group (P ＞ 0.05 ),but they were higher than that in HBeAg-positive patients in CHB group (P＜ 0.05).HBsAg was correlated to ALT,AST in HBeAg-positive patients (P ＜ 0.05).No significant correlation was found among HBsAg and HBV DNA as well as biochemical changes (P＞ 0.05).There was no significant difference in the ratio of different HBsAg levels among the patients of different HBV DNA in ACLF group (P＞ 0.05).Conclusion The level of HBsAg does not directly correlate with serum HBV DNA level,and has no directly correlation with the severity of the disease in patients with HBV-related ACLF.

Objective To investigate the potential predictors and treatment for secondary sexual dysfunction following pelvic fracture. Methods 184 patients were included in this study from multiple centers in Guangzhou city, to find the potential predictors for secondary sexual dysfunction following pelvic fracture. 76 patients were identified to be secondary sexual dysfunction, which were randomized into three treatment groups, who were given continuous low dose of tadalafil (5 mg/time)combined with oral sildenafil (50 mg/time), tadalafil (5 mg/time) only and sildenafil (50 mg/time) only respectively, and followed by evaluation of therapeutic effect according to IIEF-5 questionnaire and Sexual Encounter Profile (SEP) diaries to evaluate the effect. Results Risk factors including age and the type of pelvic fractures but not urethral injury was associated with the complication of secondary sexual dysfunction . After treatment for twelve weeks, the IIEF-5 score in A groups (18.1 ± 4.2) was significantly higher than that in B (16.4 ± 3.4) or C (16.6 ± 4.0) group (P<0.05). The positive rate of response to SEP2 and SEP3 in A group were 73.0% and 79.4% respectively, both of which were remarkably higher than those in B or C group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Secondary sexual dysfunction following pelvic fracture is associated with age and type of pelvic fractures. Continuous low dose of tadalafil (5 mg/time) combined with sildenafil (50 mg/time) provides superior effective treatment for secondary sexual dysfunction following pelvic fracture.

Objective To investigate whether the bilateral nipple discharge with the background of hypothyroidism and pituitary tumor causes intraductal neoplasm. Methods Clinical data of 222 bilateral nipple discharge patients with hypothyroidism or pituitary tumor undergoing mammary ductoseopy (MDS) examination were analyzed. Those diagnosed as intraductal papilloma received surgery and pathological exam. 158 cases with inflammatory comedomastitis diagnosed by MDS received milk duct washing with gentamycin, dexamethasone and corresponding medical treatment. Results Among the 222 cases, 158 cases(71.17%) were diagnosed as inflammatory comedomastitis by MDS, 64 cases (28.83%) were diagnosed as intraduetal papilloma (64/222) by MDS and received operation,59 cases were pathologically diagnosed as intraductal papilloma,the other 5 cases were pathologically diagnosed as mammary duct ectasia. The pathological coincidence was 92.2% and no breast cancer was observed. 68.10% of inflammatory comedomastitis cases suffered from breast pain. There were no significant difference in the disease distribution of the ethnic groups. During pre-menopause period, the incidence of period neoplasia is higher in pituitary tumor than hypothyroidism; However, during the post-menopause the situation was vice versa. The color of niplle discharge is mostly milk-like in patients with pituitary tumor, while serous in patients with hypothyroidism. 71.19% of duct papilloma locate at the branch of the main duct. Conclusion The bilateral nipple discharge with hypothyroidism or pituitary are usually concomitant with intraduetal lesions. Mammary ductosopy is helpful to discover intraduetal neoplasia.

Objectives To explore the differences in therapeutic efficacy between decitabine combined with low dose HAG(D+ HAG)and CAG in elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Methods Totally 32 elderly patients with AML in our department from July 2012 to July 2015 were retrospectively analyzed.15 patients were on a therapy of decitabine combined with low dose HAG,and 17 patients with CAG.Efficacy and side effects were compared between the two groups.Results In(D+HAG)versus CAG groups,the complete remission(CR)was 10 cases(66.7％)vs.6 cases (35.3 ％),partial remission(PR) was 2 cases (13.3％) vs.1 case(5.9 ％),non-remission(NR) was 3 cases(20％)vs.10 cases(58.8％),and the total efficacy rate(CR+PR)was 80％vs.41.2％ (P＜0.05).The side effects in two groups mainly included bone marrow depression,respiratory tract infection,gastrointestinal reaction,which were all alleviated after symptomatic treatments.The incidence rate of side effects had no statistical difference (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions The treatment of decitabine combined with low dose of HAG is prior to CAG,and the side effects are all tolerated.So decitabine combined with low dose of HAG can be served as the first-line therapy for elderly AML patients.

Objective To investigate the effect of hypertonic saline in the management of murine experimental severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) Methods SAP was induced in Wistar rats by intraperitoneal injection of 20% L Arginine Rats were divided into four groups ( n =12 in each group ); Healthy controls received intraperitoneal injection of distilled water of 5 ml/kg body weight initially Rats in the four groups were infused at 24 h and 48 h respectively at a dosage of 2 ml/kg body weight of distilled water in both healthy contrals, and SAP controls, of normal saline in group 3 and of hypertonic saline (7 5% sodium chloride) in group 4 Blood samples were collected at 48 h and 72 h after last injection for the measurement of plasma TNF ?、IL 6、 IL 10 All rats were sacrificed for histopathology of pancreatic and lung tissues at 72 h Results Animals that received hypertonic saline showed less pancreatic and lung damage than those resuscitated with normal saline Plasma levels of TNF ?、 IL 6 decreased significantly and plasma levels of IL 10 increased more significiently at 72 h after induction of SAP Conclusion Hypertonic saline resuscitation result in a significant attenuation of the systemic inflammatory response to severe acute pancreatitis

Objective To evaluate the effect of sodium nitroprusside(SNP)and N-nitro-l-arginine-mythel-ester (L-NAME) on apoptosis of spermatogenic cells in rats. Methods Fourty adult male Sprague-Dawley rats (60-70days) were divided into four groups.Each group was injected intraperitoneally with one of the following agents, once a day, for 12 days: 1. SNP; 2.L-NAME;3.SNL+L-NAME;4.Normal saline NS group.Two hours after the last time injection the rats were sacrificed.TUNEL staining and flow cytometry analysis were used to detect the apoptosis of spermatogenic cells. Results Sub-monoploid and apoptosis index (AI) in SNP group was significantly higher than that of NS group and sub-monoploid and apoptosis index (AI) in L-NAME group were significantly lower than that of NS group by FCM and TUNEL (P0.5) was found.Conclusion SNP can accelerate the apoptosis of spermatogenic cells and L-NAME can inhibite the apoptosis of spermatogenic cells,The effect of SNP and L-NAME on apoptosis of spermatogenic cells probably occurs through the action of nitric oxide.

The mechanism of how stroma plays an important role in tumor carcinogenesis is now a hotspot. To delineate the features of stromal protein between nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and normal nasopharyngeal mucosa(NNM), laser capture microdissection (LCM) was performed to purify stromal cells from the NPC and NNM, respectively. The protein expressed profiles of the stroma of NPC and NNM were compared using fluorescent two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis (2D-DIGE) and 34 differential protein spots between tumor stroma and normal stroma were chosen to be identified by mass spectrometry (MS). A total of 20 differential proteins were identified, and three differential proteins (CapG, L-plastin and S100A9) were selectively further validated by Western blotting and immunohistochemical analysis to confirm the results of 2D-DIGE. 2D-DIGE patterns of the stroma of NPC and NNM were established for the first time, the results suggested that differentially expressed proteins in the stroma of NPC and NNM may be useful for understanding the relationship between NPC cells and their surrounding microenvironment. Further studying of these proteins will be helpful to elucidate the mechanisms of NPC carcinogenesis and provide new thoughts on therapy of NPC through stroma.

Objective:To analyze the protective effects of adoptively transferring different patrilineal lymphocytes and their Exosomes ( Exo) on fetation of mice with pregnancy loss comparatively.Methods: The peripheral blood mononuclear cells ( PBMC) from healthy men and the splenocytes from BALB/c and DBA/2 male mice were induced in vitro ,and their Exo were isolated through sucrose gradient ultra-centrifugation combined with ultrafiltration.The mice of CBA/J (♀) mated with BALB/c (♂) were enrolled as control group of normal pregnancy ,and the CBA/J (♀) mated with DBA/2 (♂) as URSA of pregnancy loss experimental animal model.The mice in URSA group were randomly divided into each group with treatment through adoptively transferring , which were injected intravenously or subcutaneously with splenocytes or splenocytes -derived Exo from mated DBA/2,unmated DBA/2 or unrelated BALB/c,also PBMC-derived Exo from men,respectively.And then,the placenta volumes,rates of fetal absorption and pregnancy loss were calculated to observe the fetation of embryos.Results:Compared with the group of normal pregnancy ,the placenta volumes from URSA group decreased greatly ,and rates of fetal absorption and pregnancy loss elevated greatly ( all P<0.000 5 ).After transferring different sources of cells and their Exo through different injection ,the placenta volumes resumed to the level of normal pregnancy ,and the rates of fetal absorption and pregnancy loss decreased significantly ( all P<0.000 5 ).No differences were observed after treatment through injecting intravenously or subcutaneously ( all P>0.05 ).After transferring the Exo derived from either male mice or healthy men,the level of decreased fetal absorption rates were more than that in cellular-therapy groups ( all P<0.05 ).After transferring the Exo derived from men ,the level of decreased pregnancy loss rates were more than that in cellular -therapy groups and mice splenocytes-derived Exo group ( all P<0.05 ).Conclusion:Adoptively transferring patrilineal T lymphocytes and their Exo can greatly improve the fetation.Exo should become a non-cellular bio-remedy,which is expected to replace traditional immunotherapy of adoptively transferring lymphocytes.

Aim To explore the effect of Neu-P11,a novel melatonin agonist with similar function of melatonin,on IOP of acute high IOP animals and the related mechanism.Methods The experiment used the Trendelenburg position(head low feet high position of 80°)to establish acute high IOP model.Rats were placed in the Trendelenburg position and used Tonopen XL contact tonometer to measure IOP(every 5 minutes measured once IOP,and the maximum value in 20 minutes)in 8 :00～9 :00 am.And then,thirty Sprague-Dawley rats(8 week-old)were divided into five groups: normal IOP+normal saline,high IOP+normal saline,high IOP+10 mg·kg-1 Mel,high IOP+20 mg·kg-1 Neu-P11,high IOP+50 mg·kg-1 Neu-P11.Put in a flat to rest 2 h,animals were placed in Trendelenburg position again and then,IOP was measured every hour in the flat by 6 hours.After excessive sodium pentobarbital administration continuous for 1 week,the serum was collected and stored for subsequent detection at the end of the experiment.The level of MDA,SOD and GSH-Px enzyme activity of the rat serum was tested by kit accordingly.HE staining method was used to identify the SD rat retinal morphological changes.Results Trendelenburg position could induce IOP of model group rats,which was increased by 202.9％(P<0.01)and the content of MDA,reduced the activity of SOD and GSH-Px enzyme,retinal thickening was observed and its level was not clear.Neu-P11/Mel could significantly improve oxidative stress level and retinal edema in rats.Conclusion Neu-P11 could reduce IOP of the acute high IOP animals,which might be involved in the lower level of oxidative stress in the body.
