Objective To analyze ex vivo samples of colorectal cancers by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and magnetic resonance spectrometry, and to explore the feasibility to diagnose the tumor by using the methods in clinic. Methods From March 2007 to April 2008,fresh samples colorectal mucosa and carcinoma were obtained from 47 patients. The regimens were examined pathologically and then analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and magnetic resonance spectrometry. The accuracy of the spectrometrical results was determined by comparing with the pathological results. Results The accuracy of the Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and magnetic resonance spectrometry was 94.7%(89/94)and 97.8%(45/46),respectively,while the sensitivity was 93.6%(44/47)and 100%(23/23),specificity was 95.7%(45/47)and 95.7%(22/23),false positive rate was 4.3%(2/47)and 4.3%(1/23),false negative rate was 6.4%(3/47)and 0%(0/23),positive prognostic value was 95.7%(44/46)and 95.8%(23/24),and the negative prognostic value was 93.8%(45/48)and 100%(22/22).ConclusionsBenign and malignant colorectal tissues can be identified quickly and accurately by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and magnetic resonance spectrometry. The methods, which are minimally invasive, could be a potential diagnosing tool for colorectal cancer at an early stage.

Halohydrin dehalogenase is of great significance for biodegradation of the chlorinated pollutants, and also serves as an important biocatalyst in the synthesis of chiral pharmaceutical intermediates. A putative halohydrin dehalogenase (HheTM) gene from Tistrella mobilis KA081020-065 was cloned and over-expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3). The recombinant enzyme was purified by Ni-NTA column and characterized. Gel filtration and SDS-PAGE analysis showed that the native form of HheTM was a tetramer. It exhibited the highest activity at 50 degrees C. The nature and pH of the buffer had a great effect on its activity. The enzyme maintained high stability under the alkaline conditions and below 30 degrees C. HheTM catalyzed the transformation of ethyl(S)-4-chloro-3-hydroxybutyrate in the presence of cyanide, to give ethyl (R)-4-cyano-3-hydroxybutyrate, a key intermediate for the synthesis of atorvastatin.

Objective:To summarize the scope of research on the application of the continuous nursing network platform for premature infants and caregivers discharged from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) , so as to provide reference for future research and practice. Methods:The method of subject words, keywords and Boolean logic was used to retrieve research on the application of NICU's continuous nursing network platform for discharged premature infants and their caregivers in PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) , WanFang Data, VIP and China Biomedical Literature Database. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the database to February 14, 2022.Results:A total of 23 articles were included. The content elements of continuous nursing based on network platform included the professional knowledge and nursing skills guidance, peer support, contact with professionals, information and decision-making support, and psychological support. Application forms included mobile applications, website platforms and online videos. The types of outcome indicators were mainly the effect incaregivers and premature infants, the quality of parent-child interaction, breastfeeding and feasibility evaluation. Nursing had positive effect and feasibility. Conclusions:Continuous nursing based on the network platform has achieved positive effects on NICU discharged premature infants and caregivers, and the combination of multiple elements, personalized customization, and multidisciplinary participation are in line with the needs of caregivers. Future research needs to focus on promoting the family function of premature infants, further develop the content of continuous nursing suitable for each child's development stage, explore a safer network service supervision mode and conduct cost-benefit evaluation.
