Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of mesalazine sustained-release tablets in combination with azathioprine in the small intestine Crohn’s disease therapy. Methods 60 cases of small intestinal Crohn disease patients were randomly divided into two groups and the control group 30 cases.Observation group mesalazine sustained-release tablets 1.5 mg ~2.0 mg/( kg? d ) , 1 ~2 times/d, the other in combination with azathioprine 1 g/times, 2 times/d treatment;control group received azathioprine alone 1 g/times, 2 times/d, both groups were treated for 30 weeks after treatment were compared activity index score, clinical remission rate, mucosal healing rate, blood biochemical parameters before and after treatment, and record adverse reactions during treatment.ResuIts The two groups of patients after treatment than before treatment activity index score decreased significantly (P<0.05), but the observation group were more than the control group decreased significantly (P<0.05); observation group complete remission rate and mucosal healing rates better than the control group (P<0.05);the WBC count, ESR and CRP level were lower than before treatment (P<0.05);AIL two levels and TLB levels were significantly increased compared with that before treatment (P<0.01), but the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P<0.05 ); the incidence of adverse observation group were 26.67%, significantly higher than the 6.67%( P<0.05 ) .ConcIusion Mesalazine sustained-release tablets in combination with azathioprine therapy compared with small bowel Crohn’s disease treatment is more effective azathioprine alone, can significantly improve the therapeutic effect, but incidence of adverse reactions is higher.

Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2018;32(3):305-308
Objective:
To investigate the clinical characteristics and outcomes of ulcerative colitis (UC) with cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection.
Methods:
The related data of 300 patients with UC who were treated in the department of gastroenterology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2013 to October 2017 were analyzed retrospectively. Eighty cases with CMV infection were included into the observation group while 220 cases without CMV infection were enrolled into the control group. The disease characteristics, clinical features, treatment and outcomes were compared between the two groups.
Results:
For disease characteristics, course of disease in observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group (

OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of Salvia miltiorrhiza-volatile oil of Dalbergia odorifera on blood lipid and blood coagulation system in coronary heart disease myocardial ischemia miniature swine with blood stasis syndrome. METHODS:A total of 18 swine were randomly divided into sham operation group (routine feed),model group (routine feed) and S.miltiorrhiza-volatile oil of D. odorifera group(1 g/kg S. miltiorrhiza+0.1 mL/kg oil of D. odorifera, mixing administration),for consecutive 8 weeks. At 4th week, coronary heart disease myocardial ischemia model of blood stasis syndrome was established by Ameriod coarctation ring implantation in other 2 groups except for sham operation group. At 8th week, the syndrome of the model was observed according to coronary angiography and the macroscopic indications. At 2th,6th,8th week, intravenous blood was collected to test the serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,apolipoprotein A1(apoA1),apoB,PT,APTT,TT and FIB in miniature swine. RESULTS:At 6th,8th week, compared with sham operation group, serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,apoB and FIB were increased in model group, while PT,APTT and TT were shortened and the levels of HDL-C and apoA1 were decreased, with statistical significance(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with model group, the serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C and apoB were decreased in S. miltiorrhiza-volatile oil of D. odorifera group, while PT,APTT and TT were prolonged and the levels of HDL-C and apoA1 were increased, with statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS: The S.miltiorrhiza-volatile oil of D. odorifera could reduce blood lipid and improve blood coagulation system index disorder in coronary heart disease myocardial ischemia miniature swine with blood stasis syndrome.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the expression of apoptosis related protein cellular Fas associated death domain like interleukin 1 converting enzyme inhibitory protein (c-FLIP) in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and its relation with extrinsic apoptotic pathway.
METHODS:
Sixty patients with rheumatoid arthritis were collected from Zhangzhou Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University during January 2014 and June 2015, including 22 patients with low activities (DAS28<3.2), 20 patients with middle activities (3.2 ≤ DAS28 ≤ 5.1), and 18 patients with high activities (DAS28>5.1). And 25 healthy controls were also collected. The mRNA and protein expression levels of c-FLIP and the extrinsic apoptotic pathway related proteins Fas-associated protein with death domain (FADD), caspase-8 in PBMCs were detected by real-time RT-PCR and Western blot, respectively. Correlations between c-FLIP and FADD, caspase-8 in PBMCs were analyzed by pearson test.
RESULTS:
mRNA expression levels of c-FLIP, FADD and caspase-8 in PBMCs of patients with rheumatoid arthritis were all higher than those of healthy controls (all <0.05). mRNA expression levels of FADD and caspase-8 in patients with middle activities were significantly higher than those in patients with low activities (all <0.05), but the mRNA expression level of c-FLIP was not significantly higher than that in patients with low activities. mRNA expression level of c-FLIP in patients with high activities was higher than those in patients with middle or low activities (all <0.05), while the mRNA expression level of caspase-8 was lower than those in patients with middle or low activities (all <0.05). mRNA expression level of FADD in patients with high activities was higher than those in patients with low activities (<0.05). Pearson analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between c-FLIP and FADD mRNA expression (=0.323, <0.05), and negative correlation between c-FLIP and caspase-8 mRNA expression (-1.104, <0.05). The protein expression levels of c-FLIP and FADD in patients with middle activities were significantly higher than those in control group and patients with low or high activities (<0.05 or 0.01). The protein expression levels of caspase-8 in patients with middle and high activities were significantly higher than those in control group and patients with low activities (<0.05 or <0.01), and the protein expression level of caspase-8 in patients with high activities was higher than that in patients with middle activities (<0.05).
CONCLUSIONS
c-FLIP may be involved in the extrinsic apoptotic pathway in rheumatoid arthritis, and can provide reference for the evaluation of disease activities.
