Objective To investigate the effect of music therapy on anxiety and depression in patients with spinal cord injury. Methods Forty anxious and depressive patients with spinal cord injury were selected as the control group from December 2012 to October 2013, and another 40 anxious and depressive patients with spinal cord injury as the observation group from November 2013 to September 2014. Patients in the observation group were given the following metheds after admiting for 3 days besides psychological nursing; music therapy once a day, 1 hours one time for 4 weeks. The two groups were compared in terms of the scores by Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) scores and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) before and after treatment. Results There were insignificant differences in HAMA scores and HAMD scores between the two groups before music therapy (P>0.05), but the scores by HAMA and HAMD in the observation group were both significantly lower than those in the control group. Conclusion Music therapy can alleviate anxiety and depression of patients with spinal cord injury, and promote the functional recovery.

Objective:To explore the body image of young breast cancer patients and analyze its influencing factors. Methods:This study is a cross-sectional survey. Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 315 young breast cancer patients who were hospitalized in a ClassⅢ Grade A cancer hospital from March to May 2021 were selected as the research objects. The patients were investigated by general information questionnaire, Body Image Self-rating Questionnaire for Breast Cancer (BISQ-BC) and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire (MCMQ) . Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation among variables. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of body image in young breast cancer patients. A total of 315 questionnaires were sent out and 310 were effectively received, with effective recovery rate of 98.4% (310/315) .Results:The body image score of 310 young breast cancer patients was (3.03±0.58) . Univariate analysis showed that education level, family residence, per capita monthly income of the family, clinical stage, postoperative time, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine therapy and BMI were the influencing factors for the body image of young breast cancer patients ( P<0.05) . Acceptance-resignation and avoidance responses were positively correlated with the body image mean and each dimension score of breast cancer patients ( P< 0.01) , while the Confrontation was negatively correlated with the body image mean and each dimension score of breast cancer patients ( P<0.01) . The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that educational level, clinical stage, body mass index, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, acceptance-resignation and avoidance and confrontation were the influencing factors of body image in young breast cancer patients (adjusted R2=0.759, F=122.826, P<0.01) . Conclusions:There is a certain degree of body image distress in young breast cancer patients, and education level, clinical stage, body mass index, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, acceptance-resignation and avoidance and confrontation of patients are closely related to the body image. In clinical practice, reasonable intervention programs should be formulated according to influencing factors to improve body image status.

Objective:To explore the facilitators and barriers of weight self-management (WSM) in breast cancer patients, so as to provide reference for WSM intervention in breast cancer patients. Methods:This study was a descriptive qualitative study. From July to October 2021, 17 patients with breast cancer admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University were selected as research objects by purposive sampling. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with patients. The data were analyzed by thematic analysis. Results:Two themes of WSM facilitators and barriers of breast cancer patients were extracted. Facilitators included three subthemes, namely: correct personal perception, positive self-regulation, positive social influence and social support. Barriers were composed of five subthemes, namely: lack of knowledge and skills, negative emotions, unhealthy living habits, role conflicts, limited physical functions. Conclusions:Medical and nursing staff should strengthen WSM health education for breast cancer patients, improve their awareness of WSM, self-regulation ability and symptom self-management, encourage them to exercise moderately, so as to promote the WSM level of breast cancer patients.
