MicroRNA (miRNA or miR) is a class of highly conserved endogenous non-coding RNA of 21~25nt, which is widely existed in organisms. Currently, miRNA has been proven to be associated with cardiovascular diseases in clinical research, but it has not been reported in the field of forensic medicine. This paper highlights recent findings about miRNA and its application in cardiovascular diseases, and the application aspect of miRNA in sudden cardiac death in forensic science.

Dental hard tissues lack the ability to self-heal. In dentin and cementum, hydroxyapatite (HA) can exist outside and/or inside collagen fibers. It is difficult to repair or regenerate HA with a highly ordered orientation in the presence of collagen fibers. At present, the biomimetic mineralization of dentin and cementum, mainly carried out by imitating its biological formation process and its physiological structure, can be divided into those originating from the fiber mineralization mechanism and those with HA as the main component. The materials used include natural materials such as demineralized dentin matrix (DDM) and calcined bovine hydroxyapatite (BHA), and synthetic materials such as polymer-induced liquid precursor (PILP) and synthetic HA. In the future, natural materials and synthetic materials should be combined for the restoration and regeneration of dentin and cementum by means of biomimetic mineralization of calcium phosphate released by remineralization solution-HA.

BackgroundDue to the COVID-19 pandemic， both teenagers' studies and personal life are critically affected， which has resulted in a variety of mental health problems. In this regard， scholars at home and abroad have carried out a large number of research concerning adolescent mental health， of which there still exists a lack of systematic combing and review. ObjectiveTo understand the status and development trend of research on adolescent mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic at home and abroad， and to grasp the current research hotspots and trends in this field， so as to provide references for relevant research and practice in the post-epidemic era. MethodsOn October 30， 2022， we searched through China Knowledge Network Infrastructure （CNKI） and Web of Science database， and the publishing time of articles to be retrieved was limited between December 1， 2019 and October 30， 2022. Excel and CiteSpace were used to perform visual analysis on these articles in terms of number， author， institution， country and keywords of the articles. ResultsA total of 7 608 articles were included. At home and abroad， the number of papers related to adolescent mental health generally increased at first and then decreased under the pandemic situation. Compared with foreign countries， the connection and cooperation among domestic scholars and institutions was not close enough. The top three countries in the number of English literature published were the United States， Britain and China， and those in intermediary center were Tunis， Cameroon and Anguilla. The parent-child relationship and mental health of teenagers during were much concerned by scholars both at home and abroad. With the passage of time， researchers at home and abroad had shifted their focus from only negative factors to positive factors. ConclusionChinese scholars or institutions need to strengthen more domestic and international exchanges and cooperation. Scholars from different countries can carry out cross-cultural study on research topics of common concern， and continue to explore the positive psychological changes of teenagers in the post-epidemic era.［Funded by National Social Science Foundation 2020 Education Youth Project of 13th Five-Year Plan （number， CHA200259）］

OBJECTIVE： To establish the method for the rapidly non-destructive quality control of Liuwei dihuang capsule. METHODS： AOTF-NIR spectrometry was adopted. Taking 80 batches of Liuwei dihuang capsule produced by a manufacturer in recent three years as samples， HPLC chromatogram was adopted to determine the contents of loganin， morroniside， paeonol， paeoniflorin and ursolic acid； the content of water was determined according to general principles stated in 2015 edition of Chinese Pharmacopeia （part Ⅰ）. Taking 70 batches of samples as correction set， the partial least square method and the cross-validation algorithm were used to establish the NIR quantitative model of 6 indexes in Liuwei dihuang capsules with the Unscrambler quantitative analysis software. Taking residual 10 batches of samples as validation set， external validation was conducted for the model. RESULTS： The correlation coefficients （R2） of internal and external validation of loganin， morroniside， paeonol， paeoniflorin， the content of water quantitative model were all greater than 0.9； the correction of standand deviation （RMSEC） were 0.372 8， 0.025 4， 0.263 3， 0.288 5， 0.186 7 and 0.037 7； the prediction of standard deviation （RMSEP） were 0.462 2， 0.077 5， 0.472 1， 0.634 9， 0.293 4 and 0.206 9； the external verification showed that mean deviations of preclicted value to actual value were 6.04％， 6.05％， 5.87％， 6.97％， 5.62％ and 4.83％， with the mean deviation less than 10％.CONCLUSIONS：The established method can achieve rapidly non-destructive analysis Liuwei dihuang capsule.
