Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of intravenous infusion of recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide(rhBNP)versus Sodium Nitroprusside on treating patients with decompensated acute heart failure.Discuss rhBNP 's effect on connective tissue of heart. Methods A total of 44 patients characterized of decompensated acute heart failure were enrolled in this study. The patients were randomLy allocated to rhBNP group who receive rhBNP(1.5?g/kg bolus intravenous injection followed by 0.0075?g/(kg?min)for 24 hours,n=23)and Sodium Nitroprusside group(10 ?g/ rain for 24 hours,n=21 ).Blood pressure, heart rate, dyspnea grade,24 hours fluid in-and-output and improvement in patient symptoms and signs were evaluated and adverse events were documented. Results Dyspnea and symptom im- provements were much more significant in rhBNP group compared to Sodium Nitroprusside group(P

3.Clinical analysis of posterior capsular rupture in small incision non -phacoemulsification cataract surgery
International Eye Science 2015;(8):1432-1434
AIM:To analyze the cause of posterior capsular rupture in small incision non - phacoemulsification cataract surgery and investigate the treatment methods.
METHODS: The clinical data of 108 cases ( 121 eyes ) undergone small incision non - phacoemulsification cataract surgery combined with intraocular lenses ( IOL) implantation were retrospectively analyzed. The causes of posterior capsular rupture and treatment of 6 patients (6 eyes) after surgery were analyzed and summarized.
RESULTS: Six cases ( 6 eyes, 4. 96%) occurred posterior capsular rupture during the operation, of which 2 cases ( 2 eyes ) underwent posterior chamber IOL implantation intraoperative, 2 cases (2 eyes) receivedIIstage IOL implantation in the ciliary sulcus at 1wk postoperative, 2 cases ( 2 eyes ) were given anterior chamber IOL implantation. One case ( 1 eye ) whose vision acuity <0. 1 was macular degeneration; One case ( 1 eye ) whose vision acuity = 0. 3 was diabetic retinopathy;0. 4~0. 6 in 2 cases (2 eyes), 0. 6~0. 8 in 2 cases (2 eyes) after 1 ~3mo postoperatively. No severe syndrome was found after surgery.
CONCLUSION:Posterior capsular rupture which occurs in different stages of the operation is the commonest intraoperative complication in small lincision non -phacoemulsification cataract surgery. With improving operative techniques, and continuously accumulating experience, incidence of posterior capsular rupture can be effectively reduced. Even posterior capsular rupture occurs intraoperative, patients can still get a good outcome after timely and proper treatment.
4.The effect of renal angioplasty and medical therapy on blood pressure and renal function in asymptomatic ARAS patients with stenosis of 50%~70%—a prospective controlled study
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(03):-
0.05).Conclusion Renal angioplasty showed a drug-dosage-saving effect on blood pressure and seemed to protect the renal function from deterioration in asymptomatic ARAS patients with stenosis ranged from 50% to 70%.Large-scaled and long-term studies are needed to verify our results.
5.Long term outcome of PTRA and stenting in patients with atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis and predictors analysis
Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 2003;0(05):-
70% were treated with stents.Patients were followed at 1 month and then every 3 to 6 months.Blood pressure and serum creatinine were measured and dosage of antihypertensive drugs were recorded. The Chinese equation was used to calculate estimated GFR.Results The mean follow-up period was 33.8?10.5(24-54) months.(1) Compared with baseline, blood pressure decreased siginificantly at 1 month and gained a further decrease at 24 months(SBP 129.1?12.9 mmHg vs 139.2?17.5 mmHg;DBP 72.6?7.1 mmHg vs 80.6?12.8 mmHg,both P0.05).Renal function was improved in 9.3% and stabilized in 62.9% of patients, and the overall benefit rate was 72.2%.(3) Logistic analysis revealed that male and diabetes were independent risk factors for renal function deterioration(OR=11.1 and 5.88,respectively,both P

AIM:To investigate the protective effect of nerve growth factor combined with Ginkgo biloba extract on retinal ischemia-reperfusion (RIR) injury in rabbits with experimental high intraocular pressure.METHODS:Establishment of rabbit glaucoma ischemia reperfusion model.Twenty-four New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups:nerve growth factor group, Ginkgo biloba extract group and combination group.Respectively, in the continuous administration of 1, 7, 14d.We observed the morphological changes of the tissues of the retina. The levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD), nitric oxide(NO) and malondialdehyde(MDA) in retinal tissue were measured.RESULTS:Respectively, first, in the continuous administration of 1, 7, 14d, the contents of MDA and NO in Ginkgo biloba extract group and nerve growth group were higher than that in combination group (P<0.05).Secondly, the SOD content of Ginkgo biloba extract group and nerve growth group were lower than that of combination group at each time point (P<0.05).At each time point, the number of HE staining of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) showed that the loss of RGCs in the combination group was significantly lower than that in the other groups, and the ganglion cell count showed that the Ginkgo biloba extract group and the neuronal growth group were lower (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Nerve growth factor combined with Ginkgo biloba extract has better protective effect on retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury. The mechanism may be related to the decrease of free radicals and increase the activity of SOD in retinal tissue.

Objective To investigate the new method of ureter bladder anastomosis in renal transplantation. Methods The ureter was pulled into bladder for 1.2 cm through tunnel at the lateral- top of bladder wall, and the ureter fixed on the bladder wall by 2-3 acus with catgut suture. Results Forty of 42 patients had no complications, and recovered very well, except for 1 cases of necrosis caused by acute rejection and 1 case on urine leakage caused by catheter obstruction from blood clot.Conclu- sion This method is simple, easy to operate, safe and reliable with less complications.

Objective To observe the efficacy of Complex Oral Motor Scoring (COMS) and diadochokinetic rate (DR) on evaluation of oral motor dysfunction and speech disorders in children with cerebral palsy. Methods 107 children with cerebral palsy were tested with Chinese-version Articulation Test, Simple Oral Motor Scoring (SOMS), COMS and DR. The correlation among SOMS, COMS and DR was analysesd. Results 85 children were abnormal in SOMS and 94 in COMS. Oral dyskinesia was found in all the children with spastic quadriplegia, dyskinetic, ataxia and mixed type of cerebral palsy, and less in the type of spastic diplegia and hemiplegia. DR was the least in spastic quadriplegia, dyskinetic, mixed type of cerebral palsy, more in the type of ataxia and spastic diplegia, and the most in hemiplegia. The coefficient of correlation among the SOMS, COMS, the longest pronunciation and DR were more than 0.8 (P<0.01). Conclusion The incidence and severity of oral dyskinesia and dysarthria are associated with the types of cerebral palsy. There is good correlation among SOMS, COMS, longest pronunciation and DR.
