1.Therapeutic Effects on Single and Repeated - Dose Administration of Clonazepam for Seizure in Children

Objective To explore the change of degrade of clonazepam in serum with single and repeated - dose administration in children with seizure, and find a reasonable method for using the clonazepam. Methods Children with seizures were divided into single - dose paradigam, repeated - dose paradigam, and decreased - dose paradigam. The concentration of CZP in serum was determined by high performance liquid chromatography( HPLC). Results The serum concentrations of clanazepain in single - dose paradigam were (101.9?12.1),(76.9 ? 5.8),(50.7?2.9),(30.9?5.4),(21.5?6.8)?g/L,the time point that the blood samples collected were 15,30,60,120 and 480 min. The serum concentrations in repeated - dose paradigam were (97. 2 ? 6. 1),(130.4? 13. 4), (99. 4 ? 9.8),(79.6?2.4)?g/L,in decreased-dose paradigam were( 101.1 ?13.1),(123.1 ?6. 6), (99.4 ?9. 8), (79. 3 ? 2. 2)?g/L,in these two groups,the time point were 15,45,60 and 120 min. Conclusion Repeated administration of CZP with decreased dose may increase its effectiveness in treatment without substantially increasing toxicity.
3.Diagnostic value of virtual touch tissue quantification in nonpalpable breast lesions

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of virtual touch tissue quantification (VTQ) for nonpalpable breast masses.Methods Two hundred and one nonpalpable breast masses in 176 women who had been scheduled for a sonographically guided core biopsy or operation were examined with the B-mode sonography and VTQ.The pathologic diagnosis was used as the golden standard.The diagnostic performances of the two methods were evaluated with receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC).Results The mean shear wave velocity (SWV) measurement values were (6.17 ± 1.95)m/s in malignant masses and (3.39± 1.82)m/s in benign masses(P <0.01),respectively.The area under the ROC curve was 0.789 for the VTQ and 0.840 for the BI-RADS-US,respectively.No statistically difference was found between them.The area under the ROC curve of the combination of the two methods was 0.934,the diagnostic performance of the combination was better than that of BLRADS-US(P <0.01)and VTQ alone (P <0.01).Conclusions VTQ is a good method for diagnosing nonpalpable breast lesions.The combination of BI-RADS-US and VTQ has better diagnostic perform ance for differentiation of nonpalpable breast lesions,which has important value in clinical application.

6.A novel way for neurodegenerative diseases within cell and animal model by autophagy induced with rapamycin treatment

Objective Using rapamycin protecting neurons' mitochondrial within injury model of neurodegenerative disease thus to reduce neuronal damage.Methods Parkinson's disease (PD) injury model of cells and animals were established,then rapamycin was added,and induced autophagy,the polarity changes of mitochondrial membrane potential,intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging and the contents of NF-κB inside the nucleus after dyeing were observed by confocal laser scanning microscopy.Results Rapamycin can induce autophagy and maintain morphology of mitochondria in cells damaged by MPP+.Mitochondrial membrane potential,level of ROS and contents of NF-κB inside the nuclear can be detected obviously reduced in these cells with rapamycin' s function.Furthermore,rapamycin also protects neurons well within PD models of zebrafish and mouse which are damaged by MPTP.Conclusions Rapamycin induces autophagy and protects mitochondria from damage within neurodegenerative disease,and strengthening this kind of protection of mitochondria is a novel way to deal with neurodegenerative diseases.
7.Considerations on the construction of key disciplines in hospital

This paper discusses how to strengthen construction of key disciplines from four aspects, namely, to increase the awareness of focal discipline construction among hospital staffs, and establish "brand awareness" ;to develop a team of high level professionals, and develop or introduce academic leaders; to improve academic research level and promote the technology progress ;and to strengthen management by objectives.
8.Study of level Ⅰb delineation, dose analysis and regional recurrence in level Ⅰb lymph node-negative nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients treated by intensity-modulated radiotherapy

Objective To investigate the level Ⅰb contouring,dose analysis and regional recurrence in level Ⅰb lymph node-negative (Ⅰb-negative) nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients treated by intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).Methods One hundred ninety newly-diagnosed,Ⅰb-negative NPC patients treated by IMRT were enrolled.Level Ⅰb contouring and dose prescribing in this cohort were classified into planned prophylactic irradiation (PPI) group (56 cases) and non-planned prophylactic irradiation (non-PPI) group (134 cases).The mean dose (Dmean) of the level Ⅰb bilaterally and submandibular glands (SMGs) was recorded for comparison.Results After a median follow-up of 47 months,there was no level Ⅰb regional recurrences noted in the entire group.The mean doses of level Ⅰb and the submandibular glands were significantly lower in the non-PPI group than those in the PPI group as follows:(50.81±5.37) Gy vs (59.68±3.32) Gy for the left level Ⅰb,(51.55±5.02) Gy vs (59.66±3.85) Gy for the left submandibular gland,(51.55±5.02) Gy vs (59.66±3.85) Gy for the right level Ⅰb and (57.25±4.69) Gy vs (63.41±2.88) Gy for the right submandibular gland (all P =0.000).Conclusion In this retrospective analysis of non-randomized single institute data,it seems unlikely that PPI to level Ⅰb is necessary in Ⅰb-negative NPC patients treated by IMRT.
10.Effects of ultrasound contrast agents upon rabbit testicular complete torsion-detorsion under the diagnostic ultrasound radiation

Objective To explore the ultrasound contrast agent (SonoVue) effects upon rabbit testis which were injured after the acute unilateral complete torsion-detorsion and its related mechanisms,on the condition of the diagnostic ultrasound radiation with different doses and different imaging modes.Methods 35 healthy New Zealand white adult rabbits were randomly divided into 5 groups(S,A,B,C,and D),with 7 in each group.Left testis needed ischemia reperfusion after complete 3 hours.Group S:reperfusion without SonoVue group;group A:small-dose (0.1 ml/kg) SonoVue conventional imaging group;group B:high-dose (1 ml/kg) SonoVue conventional imaging group ; group C:small-dose (0.1 ml/kg) SonoVue blasting group; group D:high dose(1 ml/kg) SonoVue blasting group.Groups needed ultrasonic imaging before operation and 24 hour reperfusion.The changes for each group's contrast parameters were analyzed.The contents of malondialdehyde(MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) of testicular tissue were detected,and the expressions of Caspase 3 were examined after 24 hours to make a comparison study among these groups.Results In group D,the time to peak(TTP) and half of declining time(DT/2) were significantly prolonged (P < 0.05),peak-base indensity (PBD) was significantly descended (P < 0.05),and the time-intensity curve manifested that the peak was lower and delayed.SOD in C was lower slightly than in group S.Compared with other groups,SOD in group D decreased,and MDA increased (P < 0.05).Under light microscope,the Johnen's scores in groups A,B,C showed no difference with group S2 (P >0.05),while were lower compared with group D (P <0.05).Compared with others groups,apoptosis index(AI) and Caspase-3 in group D increased with significance (P <0.05).Conclusions Under the diagnostic ultrasound radiation,when conventional imaging and small-does imaging blasted,they did not aggravate the ischemia testicular,while for high-dose,it aggravated.
