1.Clinical research of childhood hepatitis-associated aplastic anemia
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2015;22(9):603-606
Objective Hepatitis-associated aplastic anemia( HAAA) is a rare and severe disease that can be fatal,if left untreated. In the childhood,it is a syndrome in which marrow failure follows the develop-ment of hepatitis. The aim of this study was to summary clinical characteristic of children with HAAA. Methods We retrospectively reviewed the hospital records of 7 children with HAAA from 2001 to 2010,and summarized and classified the clinical features of HAAA,the laboratory characteristics in 7 patients with com-bined aplastic anemia and severe hepatits, the immune status of those patients, the pathogen of those patients and the results of treatment. Results The average age of patients was 11. 1 years old(8~14 years old). The clinical features were similar in all cases. The early stage of disease, all the children had markedly elevated liver enzyme levels and peripheral blood count was normal. After symptomatic treatment, the hepatic function began to recover but appeared pancytopenia. Bone marrow biopy showed hypoplasia. The median time from onset of hepatic symptoms until diagnosis of aplasic anemia was 43. 3 days. All the children had immune dis-order. Only one boy showed parovirus B19-IgM positive and another girl was diagnosed as acute HAV hepati-tis,the pathogen results of other children were negative. All the patients were treated by immunosuppressive therapy, one patient gave up due to some reasons and others had completed remission. Conclusion HAAA is a life-threatening hematologic disorder in which an episode of hepatitis precedes AA by a period of weeks or months. Characteristically, the HAAA syndrome is more prevalent among young men. It is reported that it is in a higher frequency of patients with non-A,non-B hepatitis. Clincal features and experimental results strong-ly suggest a central role for an immune-mediated pathogenesis. The main treatment is immunosuppressive therapy, which include hormone, antithymocyte glubulin and cyclosporine.

砄bjective: To investigate the role of Candida species in burning mouth syndrome (BMS) in a Chinese cohort. Methods: The studied population comprised 52 BMS patients and 37 healthy controls. An oral rinse technique was used to detect the candidal carriage. The isolates were identified using API 20C AUX Candida identification kit. Results: Candida was found in 3 out of 37 of the controls(8.1%) and in 10 out of 52 BMS patients(19.2%). 25 strains of Candida were isolated from the 10 Candida positive BMS cases, 22 out of the 25 strains were Candida albicans while 3 were Candida prarapsilosis . 7 strains of Candida were isolated from the 3 Candida positive controls and all the 7 were Candida albicans . Conclusion: Candida infection may play a role in the development of BMS, especially in the type 1 subtype.

? AIM: To analyze clinical characteristics and postoperative outcomes after open globe injury.?METHODS: Demographic characteristics ( age, gender, eye trauma, profession, cause of injury and injured part ) , as well as complications and prognosis were analyzed in 152 cases (152 eyes) of open globe injury.? RESULTS: Patients with open globe injury had an average age of 40. 45±38. 32 years old with a 5. 9:1 male-to-female gender ratio. The left-to-right eye ratio was 1. 27:1. Most patients were workers, farmers, or retired. The most common etiologies were scratches, boxing, and falls. Zone Ⅲ was the most commonly injured part. Iridoptosis or iris incarceration, retinal detachment, vitreal prolapse, hyphema or hypopyon, and vitreous hemorrhage were the most common complications. Visual acuity improved in 86 cases postoperatively but ophthalmectomy was still required in 25 eyes.?CONCLUSION: Vision can be improved after surgery in open globe injury. However, patients are usually seriously injured and improvement is minimal, thereby resulting in a great loss to patients and society.

Objective To evaluate the identification and counting effeciency of nucleated red blood cells by Sysmex XE-2100 Hematology Analyzer. Methods Accurancy: nucleated red blood cells were counted from 38 specimens by Sysmex XE-2100 Hematology Analyzer and compared with the number counted under microscopy. Precision: 3 specimens with different values were counted for the nucleated red blood cells 10 times by Sysmex XE-2100 Hematology Analyzer and compared with the number counted under microscopy. The CV(% ) value was estimated. Results There was insignificant difference between the results obtained from Sysmex XE-2100 Hematology Analyzer and those under microscopy. In the T-test, P >0.05, r=0.9893(P< 0.01).CV(% ) were 8.1% and 15.8% . It means that the Sysmex XE-2100 is more precise in analyzing the nucleated red blood cells than that under microscopy. Conclusion The nucleated red blood cells count by Sysmex XE-2100 is accurate and fast to obtain clinical data.

In a hospital, key disciplines are often regarded as the representative of service and reputation of the hospital. It is therefore of great significance to strengthen the construction of key disciplines to ensure sustainable development of the hospital in the increasingly fierce competition of medical market. This paper discusses how to strengthen construction of key disciplines from four aspects, namely, to increase the awareness of focal discipline construction among hospital staffs, and establish "brand awareness" ;to develop a team of high level professionals, and develop or introduce academic leaders; to improve academic research level and promote the technology progress ;and to strengthen management by objectives.
