Methods40 patients scheduled for abdominal operation were divided into two groups with 20 cases each: etomidate group(group A)and propofol group(group B).Anesthesia induction: midazolam 0.04mg/kg,remifentanil 1.5 μg/kg(time>60s),atracurium 0.6mg/kg,group A to etomidate 0.2mg/kg(30 ~ 60s),(T1),1 min before trachea intubation(T2),1 min after trachea intubation(T3),5 min after cutting skin(T4),5 min after exploration(T5),5min after cutting ill focus(T6),3min after tracheal extubation(T7),30min after operation(T8).At the same time, observed analepsia condition. ResultsIn group B,SBP and DBP were lower than those in group A at T2,T3,T4 and T5(all P<0.05).In group B,DBP was lower than those in group A at T6 and HR was lower than those in group A at T3 and T7(all P<0.05).In group B,SBP and DBP were lower than before anesthesia at T2,T3,T4 and T5(all P<0.05).In group B,DBP was lower than before anesthesia at T6 and HR was lower than before anesthesia at T2(all P<0.05).In group A,HR was faster than before anesthesia at T7(P<0.05).The time of openingeyes,remove-tracheal tube in B group was less than those in A group(all P<0.05).Both groups without memory about operation, anesthesia was content. ConclusionEtomidate combined with remifentanil anesthesia was milder than propofol group to elderly patients ardiovascular effects. It was better than propofol group for elderly patients.

Objective To evaluate male bulbourethral sling procedure for the treatment of post prostatectomy urinary incontinence. Methods 7 male patients with severe post prostatectomy incontinence underwent the male bulbourethral sling procedure, the patients being completely incontinent before treatment. Results The patients have been followed up for 14~26 months with a mean of 20.Ideal continence has been achieved in 6 and significantly improved in 1. Conclusions Bulbourethral sling procedure is effective for post radical prostatectomy and intrinsic sphincter deficiency urinary incontinence.

Objective To explore the influence of singing therapy on anxiety and depression of patients with stable COPD.Methods Toally 56 COPD patients were divided into intervention group and control group according to random digit table. The control group was provided health education and mental nursing. On the base of treatment for the control group, the intervention group received singing therapy for 24 weeks. The anxiety and depression scale was to measure the anxiety and depression before and 24 weeks after intervention. Results There were no differences in HAD score and HAD-A score and HAD-D score between the groups before intervention (P>0.05),but after intervention, the differences were significant in terms of the HAD score and HAD-A score and HAD-D score (P<0.01).The scores of intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group. For the scores, there was no difference in the control group between pre-and post-intervention (P>0.05),but the scores after intervention were significantly lower than those before intervention in the intervention group (P<0.001).Conclusion Singing therapy can effectively alleviate anxiety and depression of COPD patients at the stable state.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of long-snake moxibustion plus Western medicine for chronic heart failure due to heart-kidney yang deficiency. Methods: A total of 80 patients were randomized into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine Western medicine, and the observation group was treated with long-snake moxibustion therapy on the basis of routine Western medicine. Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), stroke volume (SV) and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDd) were measured before and after treatment, and the heart function was assessed. The serum brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) level was measured, the 6 min walking distance was recorded, and the Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire (MLHFQ) was assessed and scored. The serum galectin-3 (Gal-3) and soluble growth stimulation expressed gene 2 (sST2) protein levels were measured. Clinical efficacy was evaluated after treatment. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, LVEF and LVEDd in both groups were significantly improved (all P<0.05), and LVEF, SV and LVEDd in the observation group were superior to those in the control group (all P<0.05). The heart function classification in both groups were improved after treatment (both P<0.05), and the heart function classification in the observation group was superior to that in the control group (P<0.05). The serum BNP level in both groups decreased (both P<0.05), and the serum BNP level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The 6 min walking distance and MLHFQ scores in both groups were improved (all P<0.05), and the 6 min walking distance and MLHFQ score in the observation group were superior to those in the control group (both P<0.05). The serum Gal-3 and sST2 levels in the observation group decreased significantly (both P<0.05), and all lower than those in the control group (both P<0.05). Conclusion: Long-snake moxibustion plus Western medicine has significant efficacy in treating chronic heart failure due to heart-kidney yang deficiency; it can improve heart function, reduce the serum BNP level, and improve the exercise endurance and quality of life in the patients. This may be related to the down-regulation of serum Gal-3 and sST2 levels.

Objective:To explore the feasibility of the optimized cytokinesis-block (CB) assay on radiation-induced nucleoplasmic bridge (NPB), and to provide a scientific basis for the application of NPB in biological dose estimation. Methods:Human peripheral blood in vitro was irradiated with 2 Gy 60Co γ-rays at a dose rate of 1 Gy/min (0 Gy control group). According to the culture time after irradiation, blood samples were divided into group 48, 56, 68 and 72 h. Cytochalasin-B (Cyt-B) with a concentration of 6 μg/ml was added into the samples at 28 h and harvested at 48, 56, 68 and 72 h after irradiation, respectively. On the other hand, the blood samples were treated with different concentration of Cyt-B i. e., 0.6, 1, 2, 6 and 10 μg/ml at the beginning of culture (0 h) and harvested at 68 h after irradiation. The proportion of mononucleated, binucleated and multinucleated cells, radiation-induced NPB and micronucleus (MN) frequencies were analyzed. Results:The nuclear division index (NDI) and proportion of binucleated cells at 2 Gy and 0 Gy had tendency of increasing with cell culture time. NPB frequencies (0.023 0-0.033 0/cell) and MN frequencies had no significantly difference ( P> 0.05). With the increase of Cyt-B concentration, NDI and the proportion of binucleated cells in group 2 Gy and 0 Gy also increased, but NPB frequencies (0.023 0-0.047 0/cell) had no significant difference ( P> 0.05). MN frequencies of group 10 μg/ml were significantly lower than that of group 6 μg/ml ( U=2.74, P< 0.01). Conclusions:Cell culture time and Cyt-B concentration had no significant influence on radiation-induced NPB frequencies, suggesting that NPB could be obtained by appropriately reducing cell culture time and Cyt-B could be added into blood samples at the beginning of culture. But this protocol reduced the number of cells for further analysis, and thus its feasibility for dose estimation still need to be studied.
