China Pharmacy 2005;0(16):-
OBJECTIVE:To select the formula, preparation and quality evaluation of water-in-oil microemulsion. METHODS:Water-in-oil micromulsion has been formulated using Volp-5 as surfactant, several short chain alcohols as co-surfactants, and the different oils, pseudoternary phase diagrams have been constructed to evaluate the phase behavior of the formulations of the water-in-oil microemulsion, and the influence of mixing ratio of various elements on the area of microemulsion was also examined. The morphology, particle size, distribution and stability was assessed. RESULTS:The stable water-in-oil microemulsion was made. The microemulsion delivery could be prepared using Volp-5/ethanol/caprylic-capric-triglyceride/water (3∶2∶2∶4)system and no phase separation was observed in three months. CONCLUSION:The formulation provide a convenient means of the oral delivery taking advantage of microemulsion's merit, which is easy to prepare with consistent quality.
3.Research progress on correlation between subclinical hypothyroidism and cardiovascular diseases
Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(4):509-512
Subclinical hypothyroidism is a metabolic disease, defined by increased thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and accompanied by normal thyroid hormone levels. Recent years, many domestic and foreign studies have showed that sub?clinical hypothyroidism may be related with atherosclerosis and left ventricular diastolic dysfunction, which increasing the risk and mortality of cardiovascular diseases. Subclinical hypothyroidism may be associated with lipid metabolic disorders, hypertension, coagulation dysfunction, endothelial dysfunction, abnormal glucose metabolism, homocysteine, C-reactive pro?tein and lipoprotein. At present, controversy persists on the subclinical hypothyroidism. The aim of this study is to review the correlation between cardiovascular diseases and subclinical hypothyroidism.

Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2000;0(04):-
[ Objective]Quantitative characteristics of tongue color is investigated by colorimetrical method to supply evidence for the objectivity of tongue inspection. [Methods] Two hundred and seven tongue pictures with different tongue color were scanned. The values of R (red) , G (green) and B (blue) of different sampling spots in the pictures, as well as their ratios with the total value of R + G + B were observed. Purple-bluish tongue was clustered with the above indexes and then was compared with other common-colored tongue color. [Results] In light white tongue, G ratio was high, R ratio and B ratio low; in red tongue, R ratio was high, G ratio and B ratio low; in purple-bluish tongue, B ratio was higher, G ratio high and R ratio low. The total value of R + G + B was higher in light white tongue, high in purple-bluish tongue and low in red tongue. [Conclusion] There are colorimetrical characteristics in tongue pictures from different monographs of traditional Chinese medicine, but the colorimetric parameters of the tongue pictures should be applied according to clinical cases.
