Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(05):-
AIM: To observe effects of shear stress and TNF-? on caveolin-1 expression. METHODS: Cultured human aortic endothelial cells (HAECs) of passage 3-5 were used in the experiment. Cells were exposed to a laminar flow (shear stress 1.0 Pa) by using a parallel rectangular flow chamber for different time. Caveolin-1 mRNA and protein expression were measured by RT-PCR and Western blot, respectively. Caveolin-1 expression of the cells stimulated by TNF-? were also studied to elucidate the influence of this inflammatory factor. RESULTS: After 24 h of exposure to 1.0 Pa shear stress, both of caveolin-1 protein and mRNA expression decreased in HAECs, especially caveolin-1 mRNA expression (P

Lipoproteins are biological lipids carriers. The natural and reconstituted lipoprotein based drug delivery systems have been extensively developed in recent years. This article reviews the development of natural and reconstituted low-density lipoprotein and high-density lipoprotein based vehicles in the antitumor area.

Bufalin is an active compound of the traditional Chinese medicine Chansu, which exhibits significant anti-tumor activities in many solid tumors and leukemia cell lines. Bufalin could introduce apoptosis, reverse drug-resistance, and prevent migration and invasion of tumor cells. This paper reviewed the latest research progress of the in vitro and in vivo anti-tumor effect and mechanism of bufalin on a series of cancers, such as hepatocellular carcinoma, lung cancer, colon cancer, gastric cancer, leukemia, bladder cancer, and its formulation study is also summarized for the reference of its further study and application.

8.Analysis of developing feature of pneumoconiosis.
Chinese Journal of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Diseases 2011;29(4):303-305
OBJECTIVETo get the message about the developing feature of pneumoconiosis by analyzing the data from 353 cases of pneumoconiosis diagnosed in our hospital recent 6 years.
METHODSTo analyze the onset age, onset service years and incubation period of 353 cases of pneumoconiosis, especially in silicosis, coal worker's pneumoconiosis and potter's pneumoconiosis.
RESULTS353 patients referred to 10 species of pneumoconiosis, the silicosis, coal worker's pneumoconiosis and potter's pneumoconiosis were accounted for 28.90%, 43.34% and 15.01% of total pneumoconiosis respectively. Diagnosed patients who began to exposed to dust during 1950's to 1980's accounted for 84.99% of all the diagnosed patients. The onset age, onset service years and incubation period of silicosis, coal worker's pneumoconiosis and potters pneumoconiosis all showed a shorten trend compared each other every decade, especially after 1980's, but excluded potter's pneumoconiosis because of that the ceramics industry switched to other products in Beijing. There was a positive correlation relationship between average onset age and incubation period in three main species of pneumoconiosis mentioned above, but no significant difference could be seen in average promotion years. Additionally, comparing with other type of work, jade machining workers showed such a characteristic as younger onset and short incubation period.
CONCLUSIONThe development situation of silicosis, coal worker's pneumoconiosis is still no so optimistic, and the strict surveillance and administration especially to the township enterprises with poor production conditions should get further strengthen.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(15):3005-3008
In the current study, nine flavonoids were isolated and purified from 75% ethanol extract of Selaginella uncinata (Desv.) Spring by column chromatographic techniques over macroporous resin, polyamide, silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and pre-HPLC. On the basis of their physico-chemical properties and spectroscopic data analyses, these compounds were elucidated as cirsimarin (1), nepitrin (2), apigenin-6-C-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-8-C-β-D-glucopyranoside (3), apigenin-6-C-β-D-glucopyranosyl-8-C-α-L-arabinopyranoside (4), apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (5), 2,3-dihydroamentoflavone (6), 4'-O-methylamentoflavone (7), 2,3-dihydro-4'-O-methyl-amentoflavone (8), and 2,3,2",3"-tetrahydron-4'-O-methyl-robustaflavone (9). Compounds 1-5 belong to flavonoid glycosides and were isolated from the genus Selaginella for the first time.
