AIM: To compare and analyze the stereopsis of intermittent exotropia children under the different backgrounds of dynamic stimuli and static stimuli.
METHODS: We collected 56 children ( male 26, female 30 with intermittent exotropia at the age from 5y to 12y and examined their stereopsis under the different backgrounds of dynamic stimuli and static stimuli using a multidimensional sense perception training software. The differences between the dynamic stereopsis and static stereopsis were compared.
RESULTS: Totally 17 cases ( 30%) had both dynamicstereopsis and static stereopsis, 39 cases ( 70%) had either dynamic or static stereopsis deficit, only 10 cases ( 26%) had dynamic stereopsis, 25 cases ( 64%) static stereopsis left and 4 cases ( 10%) were without any form of stereopsis. The positive rate of dynamic stereopsis was better than the positive rate of static stereopsis, with statistical significance (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Dynamicstereopsis is better than the static stereopsis to intermittent exotropia children.

Foodbome viruses are defined to be viruses that can lead to human diseases through food. In accordance with the different origin, foodborne viruses can be divided into two kinds: intestinal viruses and zoonotic viruses. The former include those viruses that can be transmitted to person via fecal-orally route. The latter include those zoonotic viruses that chiefly transmitted to person through livestock and poultry products. This paper expounds foodborne viruses categories, biology nature, epidemiology character, and study circumstance, and clarifies the molecular biological methods and problems on the base of the polymerase chain reactions, and presents the development direction and application perspective of the foodbome viruses study.

Background:MicroRNAs ( miRNAs ) is a class of small non-coding RNAs that regulate gene expression at posttranscriptional level. They are considered to play a critical role in the tumorigenesis and development of various tumors. Aims:To identify the recurrence-specific miRNAs in peripheral blood of patients with recurrent colorectal adenoma by miRNA array for providing sensitive and specific molecular markers for recurrence prediction. Methods:Fifty colorectal adenoma patients who had undergone polypectomy by colonoscopy were re-examined from Aug. 2012 to Sep. 2013. Four recurrent and four non-recurrent patients were selected and miRNA array was used to detect the expression profiles of miRNAs in peripheral blood samples. Differentially expressed miRNAs were identified between recurrent and non-recurrent patients. Real-time PCR was applied to verify the differentially expressed miRNAs identified by microarray. Results:Seven up-regulatedmiRNAs(hp hsa-miR-548ai,hsa-miR-4446-3p,hsa-miR-139-3p,hsa-miR-27a-5p,hsa-miR-10a,hsa-miR-23a and hsa-miR-486-3p)and 4 down-regulated miRNAs( hsa-miR-124,hsa-miR-3613-5p,hsa-miR-495 and hsa-miR-485-5p)were identified by microarray between recurrent and non-recurrent patients. Among them, seven miRNAs were validated by real-time PCR as consistent with microarray. Conclusions:Some differentially expressed miRNAs may be involved in the recurrence of colorectal adenoma, which gives clues for further investigation on recurrence predictors.

The brown slime inside pipeline of the polluted mineral waters well was analyzed. It was confirmed that the brown slime was a biofilm formed mainly by growth of bacteria contaminant, using microscope analysis. After treated with HCl, the brown crystals and mycelioid matter presented in slimes disappeared. It was verified these were metal deposits. The samples produced Prussia blue deposits by dropping K 4Fe(CN) 6 and HCl, which proved that the metal deposits were iron compound. Also it was believed the biofilm was produced by growth of iron bacteria, mixed with deposits of iron compound. The iron bacteria have been isolated from the slimes and cultured in the laboratory. The colony on agar plate also produced Prussia blue deposits after treated with K 4Fe(CN) 6 and HCl. The cells form of pure culture was the same as that in the samples by electronmicroscope analysis. Therefore, It indicated that the bacteria on biofilm inside pipeline were iron bacteria mainly.
