Chongqing Medicine 2015;(24):3362-3364
Objective To study the radiosensitization effects of tetrandrine on advanced non small cell lung cancer and its toxicity. Methods The patients of 82 cases with advanced non-small cell lung cancer were confirmed by pathology or cytology. The first course of treatment was treated with radiation therapy.Patients were divided into three groups:tetrandrine group, paclitaxel group and radiotherapy group.Tetrandrine group(30 cases)took radiotherapy with 40 mg tetrandrine(3 times a day)from the first day to the ending.Paclitaxel group (29 cases)took radiotherapy with intravenous infusion of 60 mg paclitaxel(once a week).Radio-therapy group (23 cases)only received radiotherapy. Results Tetrandrine and paclitaxel had the same radiosensitizing effect in ra-diotherapy.The total effective rate of tetrandrine and paclitaxel group was higher than radiotherapy group (P <0.05 ).The inci-dence of radiation pneumonitis in tetrandrine group was significantly lower than the other two groups (P <0.05).The one year free disease survival rate was promoted in tetrandrine group than other groups. Conclusion Tetrandrine was known as the same radia-tion sensitizing effect of paclitaxel fairly, which can reduce the toxicity of radiotherapy.
2.Analysis of clinical feature and antibiotic resistance of pathogenic bacteria in PICU
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2014;21(2):93-96,100
Objective To investigate the distribution and antibiotic resistance of pathogenic bacteria in PICU and to provide evidence for use of antibiotics rationally. Methods All the basic clinical features and pathogenic bacteria isolated from patients in PICU of our hospital from October 2009 to September 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. Results A total of 672 pathogenic bacterial strains were isolated (positive rate 16.7% 672/4 020),75.1% and 24.9% were gram negative bacteria and gram positive bacteria, respectively.Pseudomonas aeruginosa was the most common bacteria isolated in gram negative bacteria, followed by Klebsiella pneumonia and Escherichia coli in this order. And Staphylococcus was the main strain in gram positive bacteria.Positive specimens were mainly from lower respiratory tract and bloodstream infection. Most Staphylococcus were resistant to penicillin, oxacillin and erythromycin but susceptible to vancomycin, teicoplanin and linezolid.Gram negative bacteria were resistant to ampicillin,ampicillin-sulbactam,piperacillin and cephalosporin, but susceptible to imipenem,cefoperazone-sulbactam,piperacillin-tazobactam,ciprofloxacin and amikacin. Conclusion Gram negative bacteria is the prevalent strains in PICU of our hospital,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Klebsiella pneumonia and Escherichia coli are common bacterium isolated. Most isolates are highly drug-resistant.Analysis of pathogenic bacteria and drug-resistance surveillance are of vital importance to guide treatments for critically ill children and reduce drug-resistant bacterial strains.
3.Advances in The Research of Diseases Related to Notch Signaling Pathway
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(12):-
Notch signaling pathway plays a vital role in cell fate decisions. Notch signals are transferred among adjacent cells through Notch receptors and their ligands, which can regulate differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis of many cell types including stem cells. They can also influence organ formation and morphopoiesis. Genetic mutations in the Notch signaling pathway are related to the emergence and development of many diseases. Notch signaling pathway is increasingly becoming important drug targets for cancer, hereditary disease such as CADASIL and other related diseases. It is also used to develop stem cell therapeutics to treat age or trauma related degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson disease and diabetes.
4.Infulence of situational teaching on the quality of humanistic care for college students of agedness service and managementin profession
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2017;33(13):1030-1033
Objective To explore the influence of situational teaching on the quality of humanistic care for college students of agedness service and managementin profession, and to search a practical teaching method which is appropriate for students of this profession. Methods Take the students of agedness service and managementin profession in our college as the research object,2013 grade as the control group and 2014 grade as the experimental group. During the training of gerontological nursing, the teaching method of the control group was mainly cases discussion, while the experimental group was mainly situational teaching.Using the Humanistic Care Nurses Quality Scale before and after the training compared and evaluated the influence of the situational teaching on the quality of humanistic care for college students of agedness service and managementin profession. Results There were no significant differences between the scores of the two groups before training in terms of humanistic care quality, concept, ability, knowledge, and perceived dimension (P>0.05). The respective scores of the observation group after training were 110.52 ± 9.40, 21.94±5.87, 23.39 ± 5.38, 23.06 ± 5.11, 27.42 ± 6.44, all higher than 88.24 ± 7.08, 16.62 ± 5.03, 16.91 ± 4.61, 17.06 ± 5.24, 18.38 ± 5.33 of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (t=-10.713 to-3.903, P<0.01). In addition, there was significant difference within the observation group before and after training (t =-0.550 to-0.232, P<0.05). Conclusions The situational teaching can improve the quality of humanistic care for college students of agedness service and managementin profession and it can be used as a practical teaching method.
5.Hyperglycemia aggravated cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury by inhibiting mitophagy
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2016;32(6):846-852,853
Aim Toinvestigatetheroleofhyperglyce-mia in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)injury with a middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)rat model anditsmechanism. Methods EightyhealthymaleSD rats were randomly assigned into sham group, I/R group (normoglycemia),hyperglycemic I/R groupⅠ(HG1 )and hyperglycemic I/R groupⅡ(HG2 ).The cerebral I/R model was established by occluding the middle cerebral artery(MCA)in rats.Hyperglycemia was induced by intraperitoneal injection of 50% glu-cose solution.Neurological deficit was determined by Ludmila Belayev test;infarct size and brain edema were measured by TTC staining;mitophagy was ob-served by double immunofluorescent staining and elec-tron microscope. The expressions of autophagy-related proteins(LC3 and Beclin-1 )and apoptosis-related pro-teins(Cyt-C,AIF,caspase-9 and caspase-3 )were ex-aminedbyWesternblotfurtherly.Results Bloodglu-cose level was controlled at 4 mmol·L-1 (normoglyce-mia),10 mmol · L-1 (HG1 ) and 20 mmol · L-1 (HG2)respectively.There were no significant differ-ences between model group and HG1 group in neuro-logical deficit scores, infarct volume and edema size(P>0. 05 ).However, these indications in HG2 group were significantly increased compared with model group (P<0. 05 ).After 3 days of reperfusion, the level of mitophagy was significantly reduced accompanied with increased mitochondria damages in HG 2 group (P <0. 05 ),and the expressions of mitochondrial related ap-optotic proteins(Cyt-C,AIF,caspase-9 and caspase-3 ) were significantly increased accordingly compared to modelgroup. Conclusions Mildhyperglycemiacan not intensify the cerebal ischemic injury. In contrast, severe hyperglycemia significantly aggravates the brain ischemic injury by inhibiting the removal of injured mi-tochondria in a manner of mitophagy, thus amplifying the mitochondrial mediated cascade damage responses.

10.Research progress of intraoperative floppy iris syndrome during phacoemulsification
International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1063-1066
? Intraoperative floppy iris syndrome is a particular symptom in phacoemulsification, and it is often occurred in patients with the history of using alpha-1 adrenergic antagonist before cataract surgery. Although the pupil be fully mydriatic before the operation, the progressive constricting of the pupil, the relaxing of iris even the iridoptosis and the unstable anterior chamber still can be found during the phacoemulsification. If treated inappropriately, severe complications and terrible outcomes may happen, which would influenced the surgery effectives. This paper reviewed the epidemiological characteristics, pathogenesis, risk factors, clinical manifestations, complications, and coping strategies of the intraoperative floppy iris syndrome.
