Objective To investigate the relationship of nitric oxide with nitric oxide synthase system in fetal rat kidney and the mechanism of renal injury after acute intrauterine ischemia(hypoxia)/reperfusion ischemia(hypoxia)/reperfusion. Methods Wistar rats of 21 gestational days were selected and divided into seven groups according to the different ischemia(hypoxia)/reperfusion time. The level of nitric oxide and the expression of nitric oxide synthase system were detected by biochemistry, immunohistochemistry and RT PCR. Objectives To understand the social support levels among breast cancer patients in Yunnan, as well as to explore the factors associated with social support. Methods According to the unified inclusion and exclusion criteria,121 breast cancer in-patients with chemotherapy were interviewed with structured questionnaire. Social demographic characteristics, Xiao's Social Support Rating Scale,General Self-Efficacy Scale,clinical and experimental data were collected. SPSS version19.0 was used to analyze the frequency and the correlation between social support and influential variables were analyzed by using the chi-square test and non-parametric test. Results The levels of social support in total, objective social support, subjective social support and utilization degree for breast cancer patients were (49.43 ±5.69), (13.35 ±2.51), (27.59 ±3.78), (8.50 ±1.98) respectively. Marriage status and self-efficacy were associated with social support level significantly. The influencing factors such as age, education level, marital status, occupation, income, place of residence, religion, medical expenses payment type, self-efficacy were included in the univariate analysis. However, only marital status and self efficacy were positively correlated with social support (p<0.05) . Conclusions The breast cancer patients in Yunnan have a higher social support level overall. Having-marriage status and higher self-efficacy have a positive influence on breast cancer in patients' social support level.

Objective To compare the Health Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) of patients with sys temic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with other common chronic diseases (coronary heart disease,diabetes and hypertension).Methods Responses from Short Form-36 (SF-36) questionnaires from outpatients,inpatients with SLE,other common chronic diseases and healthy controls were analyzed in all domains.Results The mean age of patients with SLE was 39+13 years old,while those of patients with coronary heart disease,dia betes and hypertension were 65±16,60±13,59±14 years respectively.All SLE patients were significantly worse in all domains of SF-36 questionnaire,compared with the healthy controls.The responses of inactive patients with SLE,were not significantly worse than those with other chronic diseases in all domains (P＞0.05).On the contrary,the responses of patients with active SLE were significantly worse than those of patients with inactive SLE,as well as patients with other chronic diseases (P＜0.05).Conclusion HRQOL of patients with active SLE is significantly worse when compared to patients with other common chronic diseases.

Objective To understand the changes of positive rates of IHA detections of outpatients in schistosomiasis clinic. Results The data of IHA detections of outpatients in schistosomiasis clinic in Hubei Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention were collected and analyzed statistically from 2005 to 2014. Results A total of 7 113 outpatients were detected by IHA test,and 547 of them were positives with a positive rate of 7.69%. The positive rate of IHA test was on an upward slope be?fore 2008,and the rate reached 14.85% in 2008,which was significantly higher than that in 2005(5.81%)( χ2 = 47.40,P<0.01),then it was on a declined stage after 2008,and the positive rate decreased to 3.76 in 2014,which was significantly lower than that in 2008( χ2 = 12.29,P<0.01). The positive rate of outpatients in the 10~<30 years age group was higher than those in other age groups(all P < 0.012 5),and the male positives were more than the female ones. Conclusions The schisto?somiasis endemic situation has been significantly decreased in Hubei Province. The male and people in 10~<30 age group are the high risk groups,so the targeted health education should be strengthened.

OBJECTIVETo analyze the fungal composition in Massa Medicata Fermentata based on culture dependent method and independent PCR-SSCP technique.

METHODFungi were directly isolated from Massa Medicata Fermentata samples. The obtained strains were identified according to morphology and DNA sequence. Meanwhile the total fungal DNA was extracted from Massa Medicata Fermentata samples, the cultural independent PCR-SSCP technique based on β-tubulin gene were used to identify the mycobiota.

RESULTAccording to cultural method, Aspergillus flavus and Rhizopus oryzae were present in Massa Medicata Fermentata samples, while A. flavus and A. niger were present in fried Massa Medicata Fermentata samples. In contrast, 5 species were obtained by PCR-SSCP technique, A. flavus was overlapped with fungal taxa derived from culture dependent method; A. ambiguu and A. s ivoriensis were dominant with relative abundance of 57% and 35% respectively, while the relative abundance of A. flavus was as low as 4%. None species was obtained from fried Massa Medicata Fermentata samples.

CONCLUSIONPCR-SSCP based on β-tubulin gene could distinguish fungi into species, culture dependent method combined with culture independent method could better understand the fungal composition associated with Massa Medicata Fermentata fermentation.

Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention on anxiety in ICU patients. Methods A total of 100 cases of ICU patients were divided into two groups randomly. Zung self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and St. Mary' s hospital sleep questionnaire (SMH) measurements were used in first and fifth day. In control group, conventional nursing care was given. And in intervention group, nursing intervention methods were given, including nursing information, social support and the promotion of patients with good sleep. Results Compared with the average level, the anxiety in ICU patients was significant (P <0. 01). Both the Zung self-rating anxiety scale ( SAS) and St. Mary' s hospital sleep questionnaire (SMH) scores between the two groups were significant (P <0. 01). Conclusions The use of nursing interventions can efficiently improve the sleep and relieve anxiety in ICU patients. It is worth to generalizing and applying.

Synthetic biology research methods which design and build a new artificial biological systems (medicinal plants or microorganisms system) with specific physiological functions through clarifying and simulating the basic law of the biosynthesis of active components of traditional Chinese medicine, is considered to be a potential method to produce an abundant resources of bioactive components. Tanshinones is a kind of diterpene quinone compounds with important pharmacological activities from traditional Chinese medicine Salvia miltiorrhiza. This article systematically introduced the research progress of the synthetic biology of S. miltiorrhiza, in order to provide references for studies on other terpenoid bioactive components of traditional Chinese medicines, and give new research strategies for the sustainable development of traditional Chinese medicine resources.

Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is an ocular disease caused by retinal ophthalmic dysplasia in premature infants,leads to strabismus,amblyopia,cataract,glaucoma,and even blindness,which seriously affects the quality of life of preterm infants.The infant blindness ratio has climbed to 6％-18％,according to figures released by the World Health Organisation.ROP is the primary cause of blindness in children of the world in recent years.But the pathogenesis of ROP is not yet clear.Gestational age,birth weight,oxygen intake,delivery mode,multiple newborns,neonatal respiratory distress syndrome,anemia,blood transfusion,sepsis,infection,hypercapnia,hyperbilirubinemia,maternal prenatal use of a drug are all the risk factors.We reviewed the risk factors and possible mechanism of ROP,in order to offer theoretical support for the study and prevention of ROP in premature infants.

Objective To explore the dynamic change and meaning of JAK/STAT signal path in the invasive course of collagen-induced arthritis(CIA).Methods Forty-eight rats were divided into 6 groups ran- domly,eight rats served as the control group,the rest were for the development of CIA models.Rats were sac- rificed at the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th and 6th week after the initial immunity respectively.Then HE staining,im- munohistochemistry and immunoblotting were used to detect the pathological changes of synovium in different st ages and the expression of p-STAT1 and p-STAT3.Results On the second week after initial immunity,the rats had arthritis,and the inflammation achieved its peak at the 4th week,then gradually relieved,and a few joints developed rigidity,synovium hyperplasia and inflammatory cell infiltration could be seen at the second week of initial immunity,and pannus could be seen at the 4th week as well as cartilage destroy at the 6th week by HE staining.In the invasive course of CIA,STAT1 and STAT3 were all in activated state detected by im- munohistochemistry and immunoblotting,which were significantly different from those of control group and they had a positive correlation with arthritis index,the Pearson's value of them were 0.798 and 0.873 respectively. However,there was some difference on time.STAT3 kept at activated state and had positive correlation with pathology score of synovium,and the Pearson's value was 0.622.On the contrary,the activation of STAT1 was obviously delayed and only confined to the middle and advanced stage of the disease.Conclusion JAK/STAT signal pathway participates the pathological course of CIA,and blocking the different point of JAK/STAT path- way'activation process may reach the goal of reversing the RA's pathological course.
