Objective To investigate autonomic nervous system(ANS)function of hyperthyroidism and hyperthyroidism by analyzing the heart rate variability(HRV)of patients with the diseases.Methods 12-synchronous dynamic 24-hour monitoring and man-machine dialogue were performed in 49 patients with hyperthyroidism,25 patients with hypothyroidism and 40 controls after removing interference,and 24-hour electrocardiogram wag analyzed.Heart rate variability indicators observed included 24-hour time-domain indexes[standard deviation of all experimental time RR(SDNN),root of mean square standard deviation from adjacent RR interval(RMSSD)]and 24-hour frequency domain indicators[very low frequency power(VLF),low-frequency power(LF),high frequency power(HF),low frequency power/high frequency power(LF/HF)].Results Indicators of time domain in hyperthyroidism group,such as SDNN[(69.65±13.55)ms]and RMSSD[(12.98±3.20)ms]were obviously lower than those of the control group[(136.07±11.95),(29.70±5.85)ms],the differences being statistically significant (P＜0.01).Indicators of frequency domain HF[(5331±15.84)msz]were lower than those of the control group [(223.38±50.09)ms2],butVLF[(1823.55±238.13)ms2],LF[(501.88±92.47)ms2]and LF/HF(5.89±1.15)was higher compared with that in the control group,repectively[(325.68±60.47)ms2,(405.60±5 1.41)ms2,2.14±0.56,P＜0.01).Among time domain indicators in hypothyroidism group,SDNN[(77.00±15.48)ms]and RMSSD [(14.80±2.58)ms]were also obviously lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01),the difference being significant statistically(P＜0.01).Frequency domain index HF[(57.88±12.20)ms2],VLF[(251.48±24.67)ms2],LF[(128.68±43.78)ms2]also obviously lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01),but LF/HF,being 1.83±0.63,was in a normal range and did not significantly changed(P＞0.05). Conclusion In patients with hyperthyroidism both sympathetic and vagus nerves are hyperdynamic,while in patients with hypothyroidism,vagus nerves are hyperdynamic,while sympathetic nerve hypodynamic.

Objective To investigate the status and its correlation of knowledge,attitude,and behaviors related to Alzheimer's disease among community residents in Tianjin.Methods Convenience sampling method was used to select 140 rural residents aged 20～75 years old in Wang-ding-di community,then using a researcher-designed questionnaire to conduct knowledge,attitude,and behaviors survey.Results The knowledge score was(6.436±2.170)(0～16)points,and the correct rate of first symptom of Alzheimer's disease among people of different age,education level had statistical differences.Community residents held a positive attitude to patients with Alzheimer's disease,113 community residents felt Alzheimer's disease patients pitiful and lonely.Getting health knowledge about Alzheimer's disease among people of different gender,education level,monthly family income,presence or absence of chronic diseases had statistical differences.There were positive relationships between knowledge and behaviors scores,memory and knowledge scores,getting health knowledge about dementia and knowledge scores.Conclusions Community residents has low cognitive levels about Alzheimer's disease,and they don't take the appropriate health behavior,so the government should develop the health education about Alzheimer's disease in the community to prevent the disease.

Objective To establish an in vitro accelerated release method of triptorelin acetate microspheres with good in vi-tro/in vivo correlation(IVIVC). Methods The in vivo release of triptorelin acetate from microspheres was obtained by residual method in rats. Influences of pH value,concentration of ethanol,temperature,rotation speed and concentration of antiseptic on the in vitro accel-erated release were studied,then the correlation between in vitro accelerated release and in vivo release of the microspheres was estab-lished by adjusting the release conditions. Results The in vitro accelerated release medium of triptorelin acetate microspheres composed of 15%ethanol solution(containing 0.06%Tween 80 and 0.1%benzalkonium chloride)at 55℃with rotating rate of 200 r/min. The cumulative release of triptorelin acetate from microspheres was 87.35%at 30 h under accelerated release condition,equivalent to in vivo release for 30 days. The established in vitro accelerated release had a good correlation with that of in vivo(y=0.8845x+12.4510, R2=0.9938). Conclusion The in vitro accelerated release of triptorelin acetate microspheres could correlate well with in vivo release and has a potential application in rapid and effective evaluation of triptorelin acetate microspheres.

The β-Glucuronidase gene (sbGUS) cDNA firstly from Scutellari abaicalensis leaf was cloned by RT-PCR, with GenBank accession number KR364726. The full length cDNA of sbGUS was 1 584 bp with an open reading frame (ORF), encoding an unstable protein with 527 amino acids. The bioinformatic analysis showed that the sbGUS encoding protein had isoelectric point (pI) of 5.55 and a calculated molecular weight about 58.724 8 kDa, with a transmembrane regions and signal peptide, had conserved domains of glycoside hydrolase super family and unintegrated trans-glycosidase catalytic structure. In the secondary structure, the percentage of alpha helix, extended strand, β-extended and random coil were 25.62%, 28.84%, 13.28% and 32.26%, respectively. The homologous analysis indicated the nucleotide sequence 98.93% similarity and the amino acid sequence 98.29% similarity with S. baicalensis (BAA97804.1), in the nine positions were different. The expression level of sGUS was the highest in root based on a real-time PCR analysis, followed by flower and stem, and the lowest was in stem. The results provide a foundation for exploring the molecular function of sbGUS involved in baicalcin biosynthesis based on synthetic biology approach in S. baicalensis plants.

Oncogene c-jun is a member of jun family,the immediately early genes(IEGs),and belongs to one of the nuclear transcription factors of basic leucine zipper(bZIP)family.Combined with many gene promotors,c-jun is involved in the regulation of gene transcription.Its products play important roles in regulating gene expression,cell proliferation,differentiation and apoptosis.The structure,biological funetion,regulation of c-jun and its roles contributing to tissue damage are reviewed in this article,which may provide understanding for severity of tissue injury and wound age estimation in the field of forensic pathology.

Objective To identify myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) from non-MDS (mainly non-clonal cytopenias) by flow cytometric (FCM) score.Methods Four parameters (CD34+ myeloblast-related and B-progenitor-related cluster size,myeloblast CD45 expression and granulocyte side scatter value) were rated on 50 patients with MDS and 20 patients with non-clonal cytopenias.A diagnosis of MDS was formulated in the presence of FCM score value ≥ 2 (every abnormal parameter was scored 1).Results When compared with non-clonal cytopenias,patients with MDS had increased myeloblast-related cluster size and decreased B-progenitor-related cluster size,and had a lower granulocyte side scatter (P ＜ 0.05),but no significant difference was found when myeloblast CD45 expression was compared (P =0.06).The FCM score value was significant higher in MDS patients (P ＜ 0.001).45 cases were correctly classified (sensitivity 90 ％).There was 1 false-positive case among 20 controls (specificity 95 ％).Conclusion The FCM score may help to establish the diagnosis of MDS,and it is simple and feasible.

Serum Ca, P, AKP, plasma iPTH, cAMP, urinary Hyp and BMC were measured in 31 cases of Graves' disease. The results showed that about 66.67% of the patients (including 21 controlled and 10 uncontrolled cases) had a decreased BMC, while serum Ca, P, plasma iPTH, cAMP were within the normal range. The data also showed that about 54.6% of the patients had increased serum AKP, but it would not exceed 25 U if no hepatic disease existed. There were positive correlations between serum T, and urinary Hyp, and between urinary Hyp and serum AKP, but a negative correlation between urinary Hyp and BMC. It was suggested that serum AKP and urinary Hyp could be considered as the indices of negative balance of bone metabolism in Graves' disease, and probably it was induced by excessive thyroid hormone directly.

AIM: To investigate whether the expression of integrin ?_3 and the activation of focal adhesion kinase(FAK) are involved in neointima formation after de-endothelium.METHODS: The model of intima hyperplasia was prepared by balloon injury.The levels of osteopontin(OPN),integrin ?_3 and FAK in vascular tissue were detected by Western blotting and immunohistochemistry.RESULTS: There were similar expression patterns in OPN,integrin ?_3 and FAK following balloon injury.The levels of three proteins were markedly increased 3 days after operation and reached the peak at 7th day.The increased FAK was mainly the phosphorylated form.The migration and proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells was associated with the increase in the expression of integrin ?_3 and FAK,and was parallel with rapid turnover of extracellular matrix(ECM).CONCLUSION: The interaction of cells with ECM mediated by OPN and integrin ?_3 is essential for migration.The integrin ?_3-FAK pathway is involved in neointima formation.

The complex level of constructing biopharmaceutics classification system of Chinese materia medica CMMBCS) was the study of traditional Chinese compound, on the premise of insisting that the multicomponent simultaneous determination, when carrying out the study of intestinal permeability, the primary task was to define the source of the components that was absorbed through the intestinal wall, namely, which medicinal material the components belonged to in traditional Chinese compound. The technology of chemical fingerprint and in vitro everted gut sac model were used in this research to make multicomponent an intuitive source attribution which permeated the intestine in the classic formula Gegen Qinlian decoction, and to lay the foundation for the further qualitative and quantitative research of intestinal permeability.
